Okto Beer Fest
Wilkommen zu Bayern! Welcome to Munich. It's Oktoberfest time of year again. Or is that Okto beer festival time again. Could that also mean drink eight beers festival? Octoberfest, what an interesting German holiday that seems to be observed in America with a lot of festivities and parties of all you can drink beer events. What is the meaning of that holiday, as I am sure its history which originates in Munich Germany, the capital of all things beer, is full of meaning. Is their national symbol a beer mug? And there's that great German beer hall Zum Schneider Restaurant & Bavarian Biergarten located in the East Village, New York City that everyone seems to flock to these days for all things Germany and all things beer that will be having its Oktoberfest festivities starting this weekend from September 29th - October 14th. There will be Live Oompah. Like every year they will have have Spass with countless Wies'n hits, a special Oktoberfest menu, Riesen Wies'n Brez'n, various Oktoberfest beers, and an atmosphere where you can sing.
Riesen Wies'n Spass
Ist die Brez'n erstmal knusprig
dann wird's schon mal richtig lustig
weil es ist die Wies'n Zeit
wo sich treffen alle Leut
wenn der Bierschaum überquillt
werden's alle zum Freiwild
Mannderl, Weiberl, Hund und Katz
alle machen jetzt Rabatz
I am not sure what that German saying above translates to in English, but it sure looks like it says something cool.
Going My Way?
As it happened yesterday and may happen again tomorrow, so much that I find myself cutting and pasting the same blog entry over and over with no end in sight. Does this mean my friends should find another subway station to play their music in or quit playing their music altogether. Should they quit their day job? And so I guess the Metropolitan Transit Authority trauma drama with my friends really cool drum and horn band who play as part of the MTA Arts For Transit/Music Under New York Program usually starts out something like this: "Dear MUNY Musicians and Performers, the next Call-in will be another double, scheduling for 4 weeks. You did really well last time juggling and projecting your availability. Good luck and talk to you on September 26 or 27 @ Call-In etc.. And also Happy Birthday to Angel Marin of AGUA CLAA, and Natalia Paruz the Saw Lady on the 25th. All the best wishes, and life long happiness to you both!" And so the story goes; can somehow the Metropolitan Terrorize its subway riders going their way Association change it procedures for the harassment of its subway musicians and riders. Is it possible the New York City MTA can somehow free everyone and make its fares free to ride the subway so that all of those underground polizei will not be necessary. This band has been keeping this blog busy with its subway gigs and the many times it has been shut down at the 42nd street Times Square subway station every time they show up to play by the same polizei over and over with no end in sight. This time they were issued a summons for disorderly conduct, to appear in court five minutes after they started playing. And these tickets seem to be discerning, as they are issued to the same person in the band over and over. And by the way, is it possible to have a close all courts day, month and year? Oh, that's a whole another blog posting. And those prerecorded "If you see something, say something and all bags are subject to random bag searches" messages are a whole another blog posting also. I can cut and paste the the many times I have blah blogged about this topic before and you can read some of the posts here. How do other subway systems in other cities and countries operate. Do these confrontations with polizei and subway musicians happen all the time everywhere. Do all cities follow the same models and procedures for fares and entertainment and are there any trauma drama support groups for these types of situations. Is another world possible? Since when is art a crime and what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Insure My Home
If you happen to have a home, whether rent or own, I imagine it is a good thing to get home insurance and insure every single thing you have in your home just in case you were to lose the contents of your home for some reason or another. I guess home insurance would help for peace of mind maybe and could be one less thing to wonder about; what would happen if everything in my home were to get lost. There are lots of different types of insurance out there in insurance land and CIS Co operative Insurance can help you with all your home insurance needs. They offer Banking, Pensions, Trust Funds, Mortgages, Life and Health Insurance and a 10% discount when you buy home insurance online. They are all investments and insurance all the time. The Dollar Bill
Somewhere I have been reading lately that the Euro is now stronger than the dollar bill. And for what reason is there a contest that the Euro is trading stronger against the dollar. Buy, sell, trade, does one get gain? And the stock market is watching the stock market for this contest. What does that mean? And I think I read that in prophecy somewhere on one of those bible prophecy websites that that could be one of the top ten prophecy signs of the beginning of the end of the world, the European Union. And is that pyramid symbol on the dollar bill that All Seeing Eye that is posted in this post a symbol of the Illuminati also. And who are the Illuminati, that secret society. "Novus Ordo Seclorum", does that mean a New World Order. And what is a New World Order. And who are the Freemasons who designed the dollar bill. Is that found in prophecy also? That's a whole another posting. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Is Another World Possible
And the headlines are there again. Another person loses their life to gun violence for whatever reason for no reason at all except that guns and gunpowder have been invented. The story has been told in the headlines before and the story will be told again in tomorrows headlines with no end in sight. Gun violence is a global epidemic these days. Is it possible to have a world free of guns. Again, I could cut and paste my other blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth, and to banish the images of guns in every form of advertisement and media campaign on planet earth. Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. If only it was possible to go back in time before guns existed. What was life like before the invention of guns. Were there only sticks and stones. Is this an invention of the beast, whoever or whatever the beast may be. How is it that every other film and movie advertisement in the newspapers and on posters plastered around town has an image of a gun in it. It almost seems as if this type of advertising is required and mandatory these days. How has the morals and values of society declined so far as to where it is now acceptable to use violent imagery and references to violence as a means of promotion. Is this programming programming society. Does this not reflect on and influence society and culture. It seems as if the standards of social behavior are declining everywhere. Is there a worldwide moral breakdown? In the past blatant immorality and decadence has been pointed to as a contributing factor in the fall of civilizations. Where is this social decline pattern coming from? Are the slaughters of wars debasing the value of human life? If politicians and generals can treat millions under their care like animals dispatched to the slaughter, then what canons of religion or ethics can inhibit men from treating each other with the ferocity of jungle beasts. Will the beast, whoever or whatever it may be ever release its grip on mankind. It is not the year 1800 anymore. Will the war ever end. Where can one turn. Where is the world headed. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.
Text My Message
Text messaging must be really cool as I see a lot of people who use that feature typing away on their cell phones these days and technology is always amazing to me the idea that one can send a message and pictures from one phone to another phone wirelessly and instantly. If you have a cell phone and are looking to text message someone, ipipi.com allows you to send an SMS Text Message to anyone anywhere on the planet. Now you can send that message without ever speaking a word. Wow! This is a sponsored post.

Higher Speed Internet
There's a higher speed Internet to be found somewhere other than America so the papers say. There are corvette sports cars speeding down the Internet space age super highway and they are found in Japan. It has always seemed to me that everything in America is made in China anyway. Oh to have a DSL and broadband connection that connects at the speed of light so fast that you don't even blink an eye and the page has changed. Does that mean that one could have one hundred times as many YouTube and MySpace friends and view a hundred times as many web pages in a tenth of the time as that regular Internet connection we are experiencing here in America. Is it no longer necessary to go to the kitchen, make dinner and come back to the computer while waiting for the screen to change and can one now download their favorite movie in less than a weeks time. And will I be able to type a hundreds times faster also. What must that space age Internet connection be like. Does one need to travel to China to experience it or will it ever make its way to the rest of the world.

Get Rich Quick?
Hey bloggers, is there a way to get rich Internet quick without ever having to leave home? And I am still reading tons of those how to get rich, make money online and become a millionaire and bazillionaire blogs and tutorials and still I am not able to quit my day job. What about those online surveys, do they work? And how does one find them as I have googled every "online survey" phrase in the known universe and still no Internet rich quick millions, trillions or even pennies. And what about those stuff envelopes your way to riches, do they work? I would love to stuff envelopes all day and night if one could be really become rich doing that. And how do you find those jobs. And I've heard one can become rich entering lots and lots and tons and tons of contests and sweepstakes. Is that really possible. I should start looking for those contests and sweepstakes now if that is the case. Short of winning the lottery, how is it possible to get rich Internet quick, or even quick. I should look for some more of those how to make millions online blogs to read now. And what does the term "riches" mean anyway? Silver, gold and treasures, do you trust in them. And what if they perish. What profit do you have if you gain the whole world and lose your own soul. That could be a whole another blog posting. For the love of money is the root of all evil: while some have coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6
The Computer
I am such a fan of those Dell computers that I find myself writing about them again. In fact, I saw one of those Dell desktop computer modems on the street the other day and I dragged it to the nearest electrical outlet and eventually gave up trying to resuscitate it because there was no monitor to go along with it and so I returned it to the street for someone else to save it. If you happen to be searching for a desktop computer for that computer task you have at hand, you can find Dell computers, desktops and more desktops at their website. They are sold in France and around the world. Dell is all computer all the time and they are great for all things computer. What was life like before the invention of computers. The BedBugs Are Back
After decades of hibernation, the bedbugs are back. I know because yesterdays am New York and this weeks The Villager says so. They both have bed bug articles that basically say the same thing; the bed bugs are back in New York. And the bedbugs must have reached epidemic proportions now in New York because the papers say so. And not only in New York, but across the country and across the world I have been reading that bedbugs are making a comeback. And just about every single paper that one can think of has written about them lately. Are bedbugs taking over the world? Is this the latest swarm of locusts to appear on planet earth, the scorpions that afflict man. And I also know the bedbugs are back in New York because I have heard stories lately from friends who have them in their apartments and their friends have them in their apartments who have other friends who have them in their apartment and so on and so on and so on. And I have read the bedbugs life story a thousand times by now, and I have read the "My battle with the bed bug" stories a thousand times now also, enough to know that this latest swarm does not discriminate between rich and poor or high and low. The creature inhabits all places from top to bottom. And there seems to be whole blogs and forums devoted to them now, tons and tons and tons of them. Are bedbugs taking over the world? And now there is a whole new meaning to that phrase "Good night, sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite".

Laptops
Dell Laptops rock. I believe so because I have used them and they rock and they got style. I see them everywhere, in the coffee shops, the libraries and most offices and businesses. I know there are Dell Latitudes, Dell Inspirons, student laptop and lots of other Dell laptop models with Laptop 17" screens and other size screens with various features. One can buy a Dell computer in Germany and anywhere around the world these days and they are also great for everything Internet. And what's really cool about some of the Dell notebook computers that I have seen is that some of the parts like the batteries and CD drives are removable and interchangeable. Computers, what would life be like without them these days and how was life before them and the age of technology. This is a sponsored post.
Old Hollywood
I found myself watching one of those old classic movies today with Betty Davis as the actress in the film and although the soap opera was interesting, for some reason the movie started out with the psychiatrist doctor as the ultimate figure, the end all to be all who knows all and gets the final word on someone else's life to judge, and the images of cigarettes were being smoked and displayed as being cool throughout it. And as being anti psych cia tric and anti medical model, it was interesting to see that even Old Hollywood films advertised and promoted these stereotypes of family locking up family in sanitariums and institutions such as the case today, the majority of people in psychiatric hospitals are put their by their own family. I would hope that one day forced psychiatric treatment could be abolished. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
The Juror Questionnaire
The Juror Questionnaire. So what's the purpose of the juror questionnaire and what is it anyway. I received one of those papers in the mail the other day from the State of New York Unified Court System and I thought, how does the court system evens get ones name and address to mail them a letter stating come to court and testify or else. Oh, the letter goes on to say "Your name was selected at random from the voter, driver, tax, social services or unemployment lists" Is this a divide and conquer thing to use the people against the people or it this a fair way for people to judge others, and what's the purpose of the courts anyway. Is it possible to not be on any voter, driver, tax, social services or unemployment lists anyway, and as I blah blogged about a few days ago, is it possible to have a close all courts day, month and even year or is that a whole another posting. And what if one does not answer these juror questionnaires. Is it possible to conscious object. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. No one is free when others are oppressed. And who is Excelsior and what does that court system symbol mean. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

My Digital Camera
I am a fan of digital cameras. Digital cameras are all the rage these days and you see people taking photos with those silver cameras everywhere. And what's really cool about them is that you can see the photos instantly and they do a myriad of things. Digital photography is awesome and I can praise and blah blog about it endlessly. And canon cameras rock. Those Canon PowerShot cameras can even make videos that you can post on YouTube and then the camera has another ten or so different features in addition to that. Digital cameras can make a great gift for the holidays to make the memories and share the memories. And with digital cameras one can help make the moments and memories last. This is a sponsored post.
Who Is Gandhi?
And so here I find myself again with the thought of what to write about today and wondering if I am running out of things to write about again, maybe its that blah blah blog writers block thing. And another of today's thoughts that come to is mind who Is Gandhi? I've seen photos and images of that guy around a lot. How would that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia describe him? I see him in a lot of peoples top eight on MySpace right there along with the likes of Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King so I think he must mean peace as I believed he walked his life for freedom and gave up everything he had to follow peace. What an amazing man and a great soul. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.
Fall
Hey Bloggers, is it the first day of fall today according to the Gregorian calendar and the temperature outside? I figure it is either today, yesterday or maybe tomorrow. And when I look at the calendar to try and figure it out it says "Yom Kippur begins at sundown" for tomorrow and "First Quarter Moon" for yesterday. Oh, now I see it, Sunday, September 23, First day of Fall. I guess I figured it was somewhere around here as fashion week just ended as well as labor day and back to school and from the confusion of the weather of not being able to figure out whether to dress for summer or winter I guess the seasons and the times are a changing, in New York. Happy Fall.

Water?
As I was walking from the store down the street the other day, a friend who had just bought a bottle of evian water asked me, "What is evian spelled backward?" "Naive!" I answered. Wow, that's weird. What the heck does that mean. Is that just a coincidence or could it mean one is naive for buying evian water. And for what reason could someone be naive for buying bottled water these days? Is it that environmentally conscious go green thing to save planet earth from all of the plastic bottles that are clogging its streams or is it that bottled water could really be just tap water as the back of my mind sometimes says to me and was also the case with those Coca Cola or Pepsi bottled water articles that were in the news lately. Is bottled water really bottled water and what does that mean anyway? Have a great day.
Music Under New York
And so I guess the Metropolitan Transit Authority trauma drama with my friends really cool drum and horn band who play as part of the MTA Arts For Transit/Music Under New York Program usually starts out something like this: "Dear MUNY Musicians and Performers, the next Call-in will be another double, scheduling for 4 weeks. An Interesting Email
This is another one of those emails I receive every so often from people that are forwarded and passed around by other people. And this one is sort of funny. I thought to repost it.

Toilet out of order. Please use floor below
In a Laundromat:
Automatic washing machines: Please remove all your clothes when the lights go out
In a London department store:

Would the person who took the step ladder yesterday please bring it back or further steps will be taken
In an office:
After tea break staff should empty the teapot and stand upside down on the draining board
Outside a second hand shop:
We exchange anything - bicycles, washing machines, etc.
Why not bring your wife along and get a wonderful bargain?
Notice in health food shop window:
Closed due to illness
Spotted in a safari park:(I sure hope so)
Elephants please stay in your car
Seen during a conference:
For anyone who has children and doesn't know it, their is a daycare on the 1st floor
Notice in a farmer's field:
The farmer allows walkers to cross the field for free, but the bull charges.
Message on a leaflet:
If you cannot read, This leaflet will tell you how to get lessons
On a repair shop door:
We can repair anything. (Please knock hard on the door - the bell doesn't work)
Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the message and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to (maybe even a chuckle). We all need a good laugh.

PostieCon Conference
And now for some reason, I have started to notice, conferences, conventions, and more conferences. The bloggerworld blogosphere seems to be spawning tons of different blogging related conferences now, maybe. How exciting. There seems to be a few blogger conventions coming up in Vegas, so many that between the Blog World Expo and PostieCon blog conference, one could just move to Vegas for the next few months and Vegas blog conference, convention, party and casino gamble away in between speakers and panel discussions. And good luck if that blogger conference is held in the same hotel with one of those casinos in the lobby. The following is an announcement for the Pay Per Post PostieCon conference in Vegas. Pay Per Post is the Hollywood of pay per post companies to me and I hear money falling out of the sky when I hear their name. Pay Per Post Rocks. Viva Las Vegas.
PostieCon '07 is a one-day event that will be held November 10, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. PostieCon Vegas is a one-of-a-kind blog conference hosted by PayPerPost™. The day will end with a rockin' party where winners of the Blogger's Choice Awards will be recognized!
The most exciting news of all: PostieCon Vegas is FREE! Space is limited, though, so to ensure your spot you'll need to register.

YouTubeing
And so it's started again. Somehow I found myself up all night YouTubeing away. I could probably use another one of those anti Internet get sleep soon routines because the addiction has started again. I have discovered You Tube again and it all started by accident, I guess. I kept receiving those emails every so often about "So and so wishes to join your group" and I could never figure out what it meant or how to use that feature, until now. It means someone wants to be my friend on You Tube, a friend request! Wow, and so I approved eleven friends at once because most have been sitting there over a month ago now since when I signed up for an account. And then I discovered how to request friends. Oh, this is now starting to turn into MySpace. And now it's almost as if I got that MySpace addiction thing going on again. And now I have found myself friending people endlessly on a social network all over again. I found myself trying to think of every name, people, place, person, topic and search phrase I could think of to ask them to be my friend. It has started again and how long it may last, I am not sure. I need to go see if I have any new friends over there now who have accepted my friend request. If anyone reading this blog entry happens to be interested in being my friend on YouTube, you can view my page here. Have a great day.

Coptic Calendar
Coptic calendar? You mean everyone in the world does not follow the Gregorian calendar? I've heard of the Mayan calendar, but the Coptic calendar? There was an article in yesterdays newspaper titled "Ethiopia: Coptic Millennium", and the article says, Ethiopia, which follows the Coptic calendar, which is based on the ancient Egyptian calendar, is ringing in he 21st century with all night parties and concerts. What? Does that mean they will be adjusting their computers for that y2k thing like the rest of the world went through seven years ago. That's interesting how another part of the world can live seven years behind in time from another part of the world. How does that work? Is that a different year zone? Does that affect their age? And how do the Ethiopians fill out those bureaucratic paperwork forms with a different year? What if they were to move to a different part of the world, can they still use the same date. How does that work. How does one calculate time; the days, seasons and solar years. How interesting.

The Meaning of the Yantra
What is the meaning of the Yantra. I have this peace of paper here before me from Integral Yoga with this beautiful drawing of some mantra or mandala with seemingly all of the religions of the world. Is it a symbol for all the faith symbols of the world religions maybe. That interfaith symbol. Does this image contain the secret meaning to the meaning of the universe maybe. Is it mystical, mythological, magical, mysterious and some image to analyze. This flyer, by Sri Swami Satchidananda, goes on to say a yantra is a physical expression of a mantra, a mantra being a divine aspect in the form of sound vibration, yantra in the form of a geometrical figure. It represents the entire cosmos, the entire creation and it has something to do with God manifesting sound. I am not sure how to interpret this but I do know that image looks really cool. Oh Shanthi.
Fall Fashion Week
As I have written a few blog entries ago, the media and events this week in New York City say its fashion week. And there are enough fashion shows and events taking place this week to say so. And I guess the weak of fashion does have its benefits for those who are walking the runways of the sidewalks and concrete jungle. I went to Housing Works Thrift Shops and The Salvation Army Thrift Stores today and lo and behold, they were both having 50% off everything in the store specials, I mean every single thing in the store. Wow! That's great if one is a shopaholic and doing the thrift store rounds, as I saw several other people going from one store to the other as I were. And the items were flying off the shelves with testimonies like "I got this fabulous table for one dollar!" and "They were just giving away everything for five dollars because they wanted to clear the floor for their fashion show!" The Housing Works Auction Special September 4-18th that is. Happy fashion weak.

September 11
Today is September 11th. A day that is notable in history. What does this day mean? Is it some sort of holy day. There is much to be written about this day and there is much that has been written about this day. Should everyone stay at home from work and observe this day, and for what reason. Today is September 11 around the world. A day to be aware of. Is this day to be found in prophecy somewhere?

Peta
Peta Rocks. Peta, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals somehow ended up as one of my MySpace top eight friends. To me, I guess they represent everything environmental and saving the world. They seek to save the animals from the humans maybe. I have always read about PETA over the years and have seen them at events on television. They are an animal rights organization and are anti fur and anti meat and advocate for the humane treatment of animals. It's great they speak for the animals as I have not run across an animal that can speak for itself yet. And this time Peta is at it again. Peta is in today's am New York newspaper. There was a furor over fur. PETA was protesting a fashion show as part of this weeks fashion events. They were out in full force pushing an animal cruelty free fashion agenda. PETA's slogan is "Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment." Their campaigns rock.

Who is Che Guevara
Who is Che Guevara. The photo that accompanies this posting is to be found everywhere today. He is a popular political figure and I see his images on t shirts everywhere and I think the image of him means revolution. It's almost as if he was a cool communist figure that everyone who wears his t shirts wants to be or is implying to wanna be like him and his ideologies. And those military army fatigue combat boots and gear he wore were kind of cool, it reminds me of the H & M fashions of today somehow. And what did, what does he represent. What is the story of his life and his ideologies. Was he for peace and justice and how. Was he a student, rebel, revolutionary, diplomat, communist, socialist, guerrilla and a legend. And the books, films and stories written about him are endless. Long Live The Revolution. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
