Who is to decide what normal is. I ran across this poster written by Janet Foner from Support Coalition International, a human rights and alternatives to psychiatry and the mental death system organization the other day. And I find the poster really interesting, almost sort of funny and hilarious, so I thought to repost it because hey, it's less writing sometimes. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
Ten Warning Signs of "Normality"
Mad scientists are working around the clock to discover the cure for "normality," a serious and persistent "chronic mental illness"" afflicting much of the general population. Support Coalition International, an alliance led by psychiatric survivors and open to the public, has become very concerned recently as a "norm-demic" has hit the streets, forcing many people formerly safe from this afflicton to recognize that they, too, have caught the dreaded disease.
Fortunately, our scientists have been able to uncover the ten warning signs of "normality."
Take this free self-test:
1. COOL: You're cool, you hold everything in and always put "a good face on it" - you never cry or laugh much, or show emotion in any way, certainly not in public. Your psych cia trick label is "tearlessnivity."
2. SERIOUS: You always do the proper thing - never anything unusual, playful, spontaneous, "different", wild, or creative, if you can help it. You believe playing and being silly are beneath your dignity and only for children. You have a psych trick label of "stiff upper lippity."
3. NICE: You always act nice even if you can't stand the person to whom you're talking. You never say what you're really thinking. Your diagnosis: "inappropriate smiling."
4. RIGHT: You always do everything right _wear the "right clothes", say the "right thing", associate only with the "right people" - you know there is only one right way, and it's you way. You are diagnosed as "conformity prone."
5. BORING: Your conversations, life and living space are dull and boring, and your lawn is always manicured no matter what. In the more advanced stages you have much inner "lifelessness" and "flat affect" - in other words, you are one ot the "walking dead." Your psych cia trick label is "hyper-inactivity."
6. OBEDIENT: You always try not to offend anyone, especially those in authority - your security seems to depend on that. So therefore you are willing to put expediency ahead of principles. Your psychiatric label is "adjustment prone/adjustment reaction."
7. GULLIBLE: You believe that the doctor always knows best, that the media is telling the truth (major newspapers always print the facts, right?), and that the medical model of ?mental illness" has been proven scientifically. Your diagnoses is "normal naivete' disorder."
8. AVOID FEELINGS: You are out of touch with yourself, with the natural world, and with what is going on with other people. It has become too hard to face how others are being oppressed, so you choose a more comfortable path. TV starts to look very, very good. You are labeled with severe blinder-itis."
9. DON"T TRUST YOURSELF: You learned in school that it's important to always pay attention to those in charge and not to trust your own thinking. You learned to "play the game," and you are still doing that. You believe your own lies. You have an advanced case of "schoolmania," which, if not stopped in its early stages can lead to severe overwork and, in advanced stages, "corporate asskissingitis."
10. INDOORISM: You lost touch with wildness in nature, and within your own strong feelings. You do not rebel against ecological destruction. Label: "Tame."
DON'T PANIC: If you have two or more of these signs, within any lunar cycle, it is not too late. Read Dendron News, support one another, get out into nature and especially rake action to stop psychiatric oppression before serious persistent "Normality" sets in.

Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday? Now this is confusing. What the heck is a Cyber Monday? I gather by the two articles that I have read in the newspapers the past couple of days that Cyber Monday is a new holiday that has been invented maybe this year to encourage shoppers and consumers to buy, buy, buy, and spend, spend, spend, and go in debt more, more, more for a longer, longer, longer amount of time over the holidays. First there is Thanksgiving day I guess to usher in the shop more season. And is this holiday season about the holidays and peace on earth, or are the holidays about shopping, shopping, shopping or both. And then there is the day after Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and what is Black Friday, the buy everything you can at a discount rate day after the Thanksgiving Day holiday. And what about buy nothing day, that day to buy nothing day after thanksgiving day. And what about over consumption and the environment. And now web 2.0 cyber go online shopping and buy everything you can Monday? What's that all about? What's next in the consume everything you can at a bargain rate holiday world. Is there something in the works for buy everything you can Tuesday, or buy everything you can month or year. Or does that holiday already exist. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Attract This Tourist
Hey Bloggers, are you looking to travel and be a tourist? It's tourist time again. And whether you may be looking to backpack, globetreck, utility vehicle trek, train track, car track, plane track, boat trek or any other type of travel treck track, this time is tourist attraction time to as many cities in America as you can think of. And if you happen to be looking for one site that list all of the great tourist attractions in most every state, Trusted Tours and Attractions would be a great place to start. Trusted Tours and Attractions offers discounted tickets to sightseeing tours in Key West, San Diego, Savannah, Orlando, Los Angeles, Miami and lots of other places. Their site can give you all the information about museums, architecture, history and other great things do do in each state. And if you sign up for their e newsletter you are automatically entered to win four free tickets to tours in a city of your choice. Now that sounds like a fun and free deal. I imagine for a free fun deal, a great getaway could be Key West because isn't that near Florida that tropical state. Their site says that Key West has lots of fun things to do and the Key West Snorkel and Sailing Adventure sounds fun and you can see the only living coral reef in the United States there. There is no shortage of touring, shopping, dining and saving at the Trusted Tours and Attractions website. They are all tourism all the time.
Psych Ward
Hey Bloggers, now this is one of those videos from Loose Federation I came across months ago that I am just now finding myself getting around to watching. It's another video I find interesting enough to want to repost it on this blog. And this one is called "Psych Ward", I guess because it was filmed in a Psych Ward somewhere in New York City. And though it is not exactly One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, it does seems to be psych trickery indeed.

One Solitary Life
Jesus Christ. What can I say about the following passage about Jesus. Again, it is one of those emails that was passed along from a friend who passed it along to another friend, who passed it along to another friend and so on and so on and so on. And I find it interesting. Maybe now could be a good time to repost it as it is the Christmas holiday season approaching and Jesus is the reason for the season
(regarding Jesus)
He was born in an obscure village, the child of a
peasant woman.
He grew up in still another village, where he worked
in a carpenter's shop until he was thirty. Then for
three years he was an itinerant preacher.
He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He
never had a family or owned a house. He did not go to
college. He never visited a big city. He never
traveled two hundred miles from the place where he was
born. He did none of the things one usually associates
with greatness.
He had no credentials but himself.
He was only thirty-three when the tide of public
opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. He
was turned over to his enemies and went through the
mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between
two thieves. While he was dying, his executioners
gambled for his clothing, the only property he had on
earth. When he was dead, he was laid in a borrowed
grave through the pity of a friend.
Nineteen centuries have come and gone, and today he
remains the central figure of the human race, and the
leader of mankind's progress. All the armies that ever
marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all
parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever
reigned, put together, have not affected the life of
man on this planet so much as that one solitary life

Glorious Food
And the advertisers say today is Black Friday, Buy Nothing Day, and the day after Thanksgiving. And a friend of mine, Laura, sent this email yesterday for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. The poem seems to be about food, food and more food, as I guess that is one of the things that this American holiday centers around. And I spent the whole day wondering if I should repost it or not. It is a poem. And as I remember Laura, she is always good for a great poem. Happy day after remember the Indians, Black Friday, Buy Nothing and poetry day.
Who Among You Knows the Essence of Garlic?
Can your foreigner's nose smell mullets roasting in a glaze of brown bean paste and sprinkled with novas of sea salt?
Can you hear my grandmother chant the mushroom's sutra?
Can you hear the papays crying as they bleed in porcelain plates?
I'm telling you that the bamboo slips the long pliant shoots of its myriad soft tongues into your mouth that is full of oranges.
I'm saying that the silver waterfalls of bean threads will burst in hot oil and stain your lips like zinc.
The marbled skin of the blue mackerel works good for men. The purple oils from its flesh perfume the tongues of women.
If you swallow them whole, the rice cakes soaking in a broth of coconut milk and brown sugar will never leave the bottom of your stomach.
Flukes of giant black mushrooms leap from their murky tubs and strangle the toes of young carrots.
Broiling chickens ooze grease, yellow tears of fat collect and spatter in the smoking pot.
Soft ripe pears, blushing on the kitchen window sill, kneel like plump women taking a long, luxurious shampoo, and invite you to bite their hips.
Why not grab basketfuls of steaming noodles, lush and slick as the hair of a fine lady, and squeeze?
The shrimps, big as Portuguese thumbs, stew among cut guavas, red onions, ginger root, and rosemary in lemon juice, the palm oil bubbling to the top, breaking through layers and layers of shredded coconut and sliced cashews.
Who among you knows the essence of garlic and black lotus root,of red and green peppers sizzling among squads of oysters in the skillet,of crushed ginger, fresh green onions, and pale-blue rice wine simmering in the stomach of a big red fish?

Searching For The Internet
Today is Thanksgiving day in America so the calendar and advertisements say, and I find myself writing about finding the Internet. I can become an internetaholic and can sometimes use an anti Internet get sleep soon routine when searching for the Internet. And so I am sometimes looking for a satellite Internet provider and ways to connect to the Internet superhighway. And I usually find myself looking for the cheapest rates for locating that www.com world. GetISP can help you if you happen to be searching for the Internet. They can help you compare prices from different Internet service providers and they also provides information about DSL, cable, dial up, wireless, satellite and VOIP phone services at low cost. And they even have information about free Internet access. They are all Internet all the time.

Party Time
Hey Bloggers, I am not exactly sure for what reason I am reposting this event. Oh, that's why, it's less writing to post events sometimes. So this event arrived in my email inbox today and I think I even went to one of their rooftop parties some time ago. And this party is in Bushwick, that extension of East Village, Berlinsburg, Billyburg, Williamsburg and yet to be gentrified and genocided part of Brooklyn that reaches so far as the Jefferson avenue stop on the L train as far as I remember, with the exception of those lofts that are located there. New York City, it is ever changing. And I guess the only thing constant is change. So if you happen to be in this part of town, this may be a great event worth checking out. Have a great party day.

Buy Nothing Day
It's that time of year again, the holiday season is upon us, according to the calendar and advertisements, and it's the most joyous festival time of the year, or is it. And Thanksgiving Day in America is later this week, that nationalistic day to be thankful for something. And remember the Indians, their beads and trinkets, that twenty four dollars and the land of Manna-hatin, and eat more tofurky. No one is free when others are oppressed. And isn't the day after Thanksgiving day Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, or is that the day after Christmas. Well this year the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 23rd, is also Buy Nothing Day and isn't this day celebrated around the world. I am not exactly sure what the story behind this concept is, but I think it has something to do with buying nothing. And Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping will be out there in the streets with shopping events all over New York City all day long. And I imagine there will be a ton of other events in observation of this day. Adbusters will be hitting the streets for a 24 hour consumer fast and there will be a Buy Nothing Day Freegan Feast on this day also. Maybe one can help save the environment and planet earth on this day by consuming less. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Rank This Blog?
Okay, so I find myself wondering again if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song as I have found myself singing so many times in the past. And I am not sure if I should continue singing it because I may be singing myself an Ode To Debt. As I was MyBlogLoging the other day, someones post caught my eye again. And this time their comment read, "Has your blog been effected by the Google page rank update?". And so the story goes, I can no longer quit my day job as I once dreamed of and I may find myself looking for a fifth day job as a result of that Google page rank update the other day. Is this Armageddon, the end of the world. Is this the end of the web 2.0 user generated content pay you to blog blogger world, or at least the attempt to blah blog your way to riches world? Is the Internet broken now or something. Is there life thereafter the Internet, and what was life like before the invention of the Internet. I tried a couple of weeks ago to post that disclosure policy on this blog in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door and I am not sure if that is working because now instead of that Google page rank of a thousand that I once dreamed of, this blog now has a Google page rank of negative one thousand. And should I continue to use the words "this is a sponsored post" or not, I am not sure. What do I say anymore in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches? Is this that Pluto or Saturn in action with that season of change thing again, and what kind of change is this world undergoing, if any. And what song do I sing now, as I am not so sure if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song I once sang before. Have a great blogging day.

The End Of The World?
Now this is an interesting story. As I was getting my daily dose of world news today of all the daily atrocities of the world that are too innumerable to mention, enough cacophony and anomaly of atrocities on a daily basis to make me think that is the beginning of the end and then to turn off the news and pretend that none of the horrible news of the day stories exists in this information overload technological world we live in these days, I came across this headline: "Russians Wait For The End Of The World". Hugh? Gog and Magog, what does it mean? And now my Armageddon, Apocalyptic, religious fanaticism thoughts start coming to mind again. Is this one of those top ten prophetic signs of the end of the world? Are Doomsday, Nostradamus, the Anti Christ, Jesus, World War III and the apocalypse on their way now? And this article went on to say something about that these people see the commercialization of the church, tax identification numbers and passports as the apocalyptic sign of the beast and do not go to school, watch television, listen to radio or handle money. They believe in spiritual and moral education. Now that's interesting. Are these people the chosen ones? Who is to decide what is normal and what is not. This is yet one more story to be followed in the news today and tomorrow. And with that thought in mind, what's that "Leonid meteor shower to peak this weekend" thing all about? How will the satellites fare in the sky? Will stars and angels fall out of the sky? Is this the dragon, that serpent of the sky whose seven heads and tail cast stars to the earth in Revelations or something? Is that constellation of shooting stars and angels going to be cast down to earth during that war in heaven? Is this a sign of the coming of the Messiah? Is Babylon falling? Is that some prophecy sign in heaven written in the stars also. Did Nostradamus predict this comet also? What exactly does that Leonid meteor shower mean, anything? Now maybe about this leonid meteor shower being a heavenly sign thing that I just came across, I may have been on the computer too long today and maybe it is time for me to turn it off and pretend I do not read the news in my religious and now astrological fanaticism. Does this Leonid meteor shower thing have to to do with that Pluto now being in Sagittarius galactic core season of change thing I wrote about a few blog postings ago? And what kind of season of change does this mean? According to that Leonid Meteor site above, Saturn the Great Millennial Sabbath, the Messianic planet and the grim reaper and his sickle may be near, if you believe.:
The Signs and the Seasons
In the month of May, 2000, we saw Saturn entering the sign of Taurus, the Bull. Seven years from that time, in 2007 A.D., Saturn – the “Messianic” planet -- will enter the sign of Leo, the Lion – the Messianic Sign! In the year 2007 Saturn will begin to enter Leo, the Lion, and will also move through a conjunction with Regulus, the king star, between the feet of Leo, as the Hebrew calendar approaches Rash Hashanah.
Over the next seven years, from 2000 to 2007, Saturn will travel through the constellations that tell the story of the wrath of God being poured out upon an unbelieving world. That would be Taurus, the coming Judge; Gemini, which in ancient zodiacs tells the story of the Bridegroom and his bride; Cancer, the symbol of resurrection; and Leo, the lion pouncing on Hydra, a many-headed serpent. These constellations along with their sidereal sidepieces tell the story of the second advent of Jesus Christ”......The One with the sickle, who will harvest the earth, is Yeshua the Messiah -- Leo the Lion, the “Lion of the tribe of Judah”!
Now that's really interesting. And if it is the beginning of the end, will there is a tomorrow to follow this story. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible? What does this all mean? Lo and behold the yoga guy in the photo above. The yoga guy depicts the progression of humanity. And here is one of many secrets about the yoga guy above. A-L=12, halfway through the alphabet, O-Z=12, halfway through the alphabet. ALOZ, ALLAH. 12.21.2012, 0102. OLOZ, AL-OZ, ALOZ, ALLAH. M and N the middle of the alphabet = the Millennium, the head of Christ, Grist, the Holy Grail, The Holy Ghost, a thousand years shall Satan be let loose? (Yahweh,Yeshua,Jehovah,JHVH,YHVH,YHWH, YOGA), part of the trinity. Watch and be ready. If you believe. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
Credit Or Debit?

The Headlines
And the headlines in New York City say today that another person has lost their life to gun violence, for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. And this time psychiatric genocide and the mental death system seems to be involved. And as I have blah blogged about the Veterans, psych trickery and violence a few blog posts ago, I could easily copy the same blog entry over and over in my appeal to end gun violence. And as those postings went; I oppose the psych trick system, I am anti medical model, National Alliance For The Mentally Ill, an organization of parents who lock up their children in psych wards, and American Psychiatric Association, and consider myself anti psych"c.i.a"trickery abuse, against the psychiatric state and do not believe mental illness exists and that psychiatry kills and originates from the Holocaust eugenics and from the extermination and persecution of thousands of psychiatric inmates during Hitler's Third Reich in Nazi Germany where psychiatrists were mass murderers in white coats who fed on the poor, powerless and marginalized, as is the case today, and that the mental death system is also an extension of Orwellianism, where family members turn in family members, and neighbors turn in neighbors to the thought police for thought crimes. And a mans enemies shall be those of his own household. Psychiatry and psych trickery is an art and not a science. And so I would like to think of mental illness as problems in living and society. And I believe in the abolishment of forced psych cia trick treatment that is often oppressive, cruel, tyrannical, humiliating, torture, inhumane and a form of social control. Psychiatric drugs, psychotropic drugs and forced drugging kills. Therapy? The rap y? Y the rap? Therapist, The rapist. Mind Freedom is a great website to read for all things alternative to the mental health death system. And as I have written in what seems like every other blog posting, who invented guns? Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. And the news stories are endless of persons losing their lives to gun violence on a daily basis as the news stories were yesterday and the news story will be tomorrow with no end in sight, for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. I could copy my blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish the gun industry and guns from every human being on the face of planet earth and to end the use of the images of guns in all forms of advertising, marketing, film and television as I have written in blog posts of the past. Does not advertising influence society. Are the slaughters of wars debasing the value of human life? Will the beast, who or whatever it is, ever release it's grip on mankind? Are the standards of social behavior declining? Is there a worldwide moral breakdown? Is society collapsing? Where is the world headed, is there hope? And one can turn the page of the newspaper to forget about these stories and atrocities of the world, yet they still exist.I am only one blogger, one voice. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

A Silent Film And Television Show
As I was MyBlogLoging on that great blogger community with a bazillion blogs and more today, I came across this interesting avatar, one of those blogger profile photos that caught my eye. It was that pyramid symbol on the dollar bill of that all seeing eye, that eye that sees everything, that mystical secret unknown Illuminati, free mason secret society thing symbol. And appropriately the title of this blog was called The Views Of The All Seeing Eye Views. And they had a message on their page that stated "With the writers strike about to go into week two, swing by to see some hilarious clips from Jimmy Kimmel's Unnecessary Censorship. The tears will be from your laughter. Enjoy!" And so I swang by their page and that YouTube video posted below is kind of funny. And the Writers Guild of America is on strike now, and their Hollywood writers strike has the film and television industry silent with no mew material at the moment.

The Mixer
Mixers. What can I say about them. I have heard of them. Haven't mixers been around forever, or at least since the 60's I think. When I think of them I think of those now vintage ads of theirs in those now vintage magazines from the 60's or 70's maybe. And I would imagine that I have had or passed by at least one of these appliance at some point in this lifetime. And what about that Eclectrics® Mixer. The name alone sounds like it has come a long way since those hand held manual rotary utensils. Those electronic gadgets sure can make life easier sometimes and help out in the kitchen a great deal. And if your recipe requires a mixer as part of the preparation, the Hamilton Beach Mixer, and a Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer can make your dinner that much easier to make. And from what I remember, this company has been around forever also, and is a trusted household name. Make room for the holidays with their mixers. Their All Metal Stand Mixer has lots of great features for mixing that batter of bread, cake or cookie dough and they have the best value in performance stand mixers. Their mixers can mix up that recipe in a millisecond of time it would take to do it by hand and that can be a great advantage if your hands ever get tired of mixing those egg whites. With the holidays approaching and turkey time at hand, their mixers can be there to help. This is a sponsored post.
A Season Of Change
And not only does the calendar say that today is Veterans day, that ultimate patriotic holiday; it also says that today is Sunday, the Sabbath, a day of rest. Or is that Saturday? And so I find myself blah blogging away again on what may be perceived as that day of rest. I picked up a copy of New York Spirit the other day as I was passing by this health food store. New York Spirit is this really cool new agey spiritual, holistic, health and nutrition magazine. And on the cover of this months issue they have an article about celebrating the harvest, and so I guess it may be that fall harvest time of the year again. And they also have this interesting article inside about change. What is change. The only thing constant is change. Well, according to their article; Pluto is now in Sagittarius and something about a Galactic Core thing. And what's interesting is that this has something to do with change, or letting go and moving on, or not letting go and not moving on, or finishing things up or something. Wasn't Mercury just in retrograde last month where Murphy's Law ruled and everything that can go wrong will go wrong? And this article goes on to say that Pluto is moving across the core of the Milky Way once more during October, ending it's once in 248 year connection with the Galactic Core. Since this passage began back in March of 2005, our lives have been filled with an urgent sense of wanting to "get things right", or going. Does that mean everything has gone as we would like it to have gone. Now that's interesting. I believe in astrology, and this one is a really complex one for me comprehend. Destiny, is it written in the stars? Whatever this Pluto and change thing may mean, have a great Plutoing day.
Honor The Veterans?
I thought I heard someone say yesterday that today or tomorrow is Veterans Day, another one of those patriotic holidays where the flag wavers come out in force. Let me check the calendar to see. Oh yeah, the calendar says Veterans day is today. Is this day observed in America only, or is this day observed in the rest of the world also? And so I find myself reposting a posting I posted several months ago for Memorial day, another one of those patriot holidays where the American flag wavers come out in force. Veterans account for a majority of the homeless mentally ill population these days, and a majority of them are disabled now as a result. For what reason is this an honor to support? I consider myself antipsychiatricky and do not believe mental illness exists and that psychiatry kills and originates from Nazi Germany where psych cia trists were mass murderers in white coats as is the case today, and that the mental death system is also an extension of Orwellianism, where family members turn in family members, and neighbors turn in neighbors to the thought police for thought crimes. Psychiatry and psych trickery is an art and not a science. And so I would like to think of mental illness as problems in living. And I believe in the abolishment of forced psych cia trick treatment that is often cruel and inhumane. Therapy? The rap y? Y the rap? Therapist, The rapist. Mind Freedom is a great website to read for all things alternative to the mental death system. And so today is Memorial Day in America. I mean Veterans day in America. A celebration of the war day. Another one of those patriotic holidays. The flag wavers are out and yellow ribbons, badges of honor, medals, parades, marches, prayers, patriotic songs, tributes and ceremonies are being broadcast everywhere. The headlines read "Honor the dead soldiers, honor the fallen soldiers and comrades". Today is the ultimate patriotic fanatic holiday, or the ultimate hate hour as George Orwell might say. My question of the day; for what reason is it an honor to volunteer to be fodder for the canon. For what reason is it an honor to die for nothing, to fight for reasons that do not exist, to fight against the flesh for powers that be that one cannot even see. For what reason is it an honor to be so poor that one will volunteer their life in exchange for money after one leaves the service, if one leaves the service. For what reason is it an honor for persons to be brainwashed with propaganda, theirs or mine. For what reason is it an honor to become a violent person and pick up a gun and kill another person for no reason at all, except for the fact that guns have been invented, the worst invention of an industry ever. For what reason is it an honor to be a veteran who now make up the majority of the homeless population. For what reason is it an honor to attend one of those military sponsored funerals and cry over the image of a flag that propagates violence, the same flag that caused ones death. For what reason is it an honor to fall and die for nothing. For what reason is it an honor to promote this ideology. What is heroic about all of this? And why does the word "Patriot" have the word "Riot" in it? And why does the word "Military" militant militia have the word "Mal" in it? "Parens Patriae, father of the people", the guardian. That phrase seems to be the basis of an endless amount of death and suffering in the world; the protection of property or other material things. I saw Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary. It is nineteen eighty four and Orwellianism is everywhere at its best today. Is it written somewhere that this must all come to pass? Happy beach bar b queing Memorial day, I mean Veterans day. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

A New York City Pass
Now that's interesting. I have never heard of a New York CityPass, or at least a tourism New York City pass. Yet the City Pass website says "Give the gift of NYC this holiday with a CityPass". Now that sounds like it can be fun. If it cheaper than those New York City Metro passes to travel, then I may opt to become a full time tourist with this pass. It sounds like it can be a great way to travel around town and do all of your errands while seeing tourist attractions at a great price. Okay, well, according to the City Pass website, they offer the best of New York City with tickets to six of the city’s icon attractions in a pocket sized booklet you can buy for half price. The passes are perfect for visiting friends or relatives and locals alike. The CityPass makes an affordable and unique gift for this Holiday. Each booklet has a ticket to The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the new Greek and Roman galleries, Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum and the American Museum of Natural History. Plus, a trip to the top of the Empire State Building Observatory and tour of the Manhattan skyline from the water aboard a Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise, along with a map, public transportation information and insider tips on the best time to visit each attraction. And their CityPass is sold at 50% off the combined admission price compared to the price if the tickets were purchased separately. With just a few clicks on their website, you have a ticket booklet to the most famous museums and experiences New York City has to offer. Happy travels and tourism. This is a sponsored post.
Yoga
If it's free, then it's for me. There is an article in this weeks Village Voice, or was it last weeks Village Voice, titled "Best Free Yoga". Free you say, where do I sign? I could use one of those yoga gurus and some free stress relief in this stress laden town and I am forever trying to figure out ways how to do that for free. So maybe I can add Yoga to the People to my list of free yoga places to go and make my way over there to St. Marks Place in my attempt to destress and do the whole yoga route for free and ohm my way to bliss and nirvana. And what is yoga anyway, that great new agey, spiritual, meditation, relaxation, holistic healing thing that can be great for exercise and breathing and where I find myself chanting "Ohmmm.., I have debt of a bazillion dollars and how am I gonna pay it back and how will this class help me ohmmm....". And why does yoga sound like Yahweh? Or does it. Does it lead nirvana or the head of Christ or something. That could be a whole another blog posting. Ohm Shanti.
Censorship
"CENSORSHIP: an exhibition featuring artists in distress". Now that sounds like a great topic for an art show. The following is yet another email I received for an event that looks interesting so much that I thought to repost it. And again, lately I am finding myself posting more and more events because hey, it's less writing sometimes. And what better venue to have an art show titled Censorship, than at the Brecht Forum. And I hear The Himalayas will be performing there also. So if you happen to be in the New York City area tonight, this looks like an event worth checking out. And I have for some reason found myself using that word lately in regards to free speech, democracy and the Pacifica, WBAI elections radio drama that I have been following lately. And what is censorship, free speech and democracy anyway. That's a whole another blog posting. And what does this have to do with a No Police State? Have a great art day.
Friends,
This Thursday, November 8th, from 6-9pm is the Exhibit Opening and Reception of the Censorship Show at the Brecht Forum in the West Village. Featuring Live music, poetry, dance, and artist talks. This will be a group show with art of different media, all exploring the impact and boundaries of censorship.
Curated by L2EL Arts
The unimagined evolution and status of many politicized cultures continues to inspire multimedia artists throughout the world. The CENSORSHIP show presents the work of New York City and international artists who openly choose to create art that rejects the systems presently dominating humanity and its ways of thinking. Curated by L2EL Arts, this month-long, multimedia exhibition also serves as a benefit for freeDimensional whose efforts work to promote social justice through artistic communities around the world. CENSORSHIP is curated by Jennifer Harris and Thomas Bell. Please visit freeDdimensional and L2EL Arts for more information and details as the show approaches.
November 8 - December 6, 2007
Closing Celebration: Friday November 30, 7-10pm
Featuring live music and dance.
From New York Magazine
Founded in 1975, the Brecht Forum is devoted to promoting social change and independent thought. Though the institute is supposedly nonpartisan, its programs and classes -- some run by in-house groups like the New York Marxist School and the Institute for Popular Education -- unabashedly skew to the far left. (Not surprising given the center's namesake: socialist German playwright Bertolt Brecht.) With a full-time staff of just two, the center relies on over 100 volunteers to teach classes and lead discussion groups. Now housed in its sixth location, an artists' complex near the Hudson River, the organization's 5,500-square-feet of space is divided up into a gallery, two classrooms, and a theater set apart by a semicircular drywall built by local high-school students. The theater's chairs are stacked amid exposed wooden pillars while films are projected onto a white wall; a function-first aesthetic which Brecht himself would've approved heartily.
All Are Welcome
Though most classes and events have an admission fee, rarely is anyone turned away because of an inability to pay.
Rare Books
One of Brecht's classrooms contains a small library of Marxist books - some quite rare - by the likes of Lenin and Trotsky.

This Ache
Repair this tooth. What can I say about dental repair except that life can be full of aches and pains sometimes. Some of those pains can be mental and some of those pains can be physical. Or maybe sometimes life can be full of no pain at all. And what about that toothache if you have ever experienced one. Short of going to find a pair of pliers and pulling ones tooth out to relieve the pain, there can be an easier option. Nowadays, Dentemp OS can come to the rescue when you find yourself curled up in that fetal position to get to sleep after the pain has been so unbearable in your attempt to ward off the dentist as long as possible. Dentemp O.S. can provide a magic fix for temporary dental repair. And it sounds like the coolest product ever if you happen to be looking for instant fillings without having to visit the dentist. What an invention. If you lose a cap or a filling, Dentemp O.S. is right there. Dentemp is an FDA approved over the counter dental cement that is a perfect first aid product for fillings, loose caps and crowns. It comes in six repairs, requires no mixing, is resealable and stays fresh and you can even eat on it. Dentemp provides temporary relief of pain and discomfort for that tooth and it sounds as if Dentemp can be a great dentist on call and that you can have your own fix it yourself dental repair kit with their product. Big Brother Is Still Watching You
It's George Orwell nineteen eighty four, minister of propaganda, miniplenty, surveillance state, telescreen time again. And as if to be a prophet himself, Big Brother is still watching you again as George Orwell might say if he were alive today. I got on the bus the other day and lo and behold, he is still here, watching you, or someone. There were cameras everywhere on this NYC MTA bus and it makes me wonder when will those Metropolitan Terrorize its riders Association prerecorded "If you see something say something if you see a suspicious package turn your neighbor in and all your bags will be searched messages start appearing. And what was the term for that in 1984, the spies who turn each other in to Big Brother? Is Big Brother all over the world now. Is that a technology thing. And who is Big Brother, what does he represent. And what is that book Brave New World about. Isn't that a science fiction book also. That's a whole another blog posting. And i read that somewhere in London that the streets are talking to you already. If you drop trash on the sidewalk, a voice from out of nowhere yells "Throw your trash away",. And what is someone looking for with these cameras on the bus, and who is watching the cameras. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
Coexist
Coexist. I like that image that has been placed in this blog entry. I saw that coexist image on someones MySpace page the other day as I was MySpacing. Their page was talking about world unity and harmony. And I see this image on peoples pages every so often and I find it moving, as it seems as if it can speak for the world. And I like the way that photo looks so much that I wanted to post it again. And what does it mean, as its symbols can be self explanatory for peace and unity. That maybe there can be a better way for the people of the earth to unite, for world unification, for humanity to bring peace to the world, somehow. And considering the world news and the atrocities of the earth that happen on a daily basis to innumerable to mention with no end in sight these days, and that beast that has its grip on the world and will not let go. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind;.

Compare This Quote
Need a loan? I could use one, especially after that Google page rank this blog endured the other day. And now I find myself blogging about loans, loans, and more loans. In case you happen to be looking for a Honda Car Quote, CarsBlvd can help you compare quotes, get loans and more. You can get wholesale prices by letting dealers compete for your business at their site. You can select cars by year, make, model, and trim. You can get up to two quotes fast and free. You can also find information about car refinance, car maintenance, auto insurance and warranties. And if you get a loan, you may want to try to remember to pay the creditor back before you find yourself hiding out from the telephone, if the telephone has not been repossessed by that point. Trash Worship
And as I blah blog along in the blogosphere today despite that Google page rank update the other day that sent me to looking for a fourth day job, I find my self blah blogging about Rolando's Trash Worship event that isn't for another month according to the email he sent. And what does Trash Worship mean anyway, to worship trash? And I also find myself posting more and more events these days because hey, it's less writing sometimes when I run out of things to blah blog about. And Rolando has been the Recycle and Pray, Trash Worship guy for as long as I can remember. He has some really cool artwork of recycled soda cans all over La Plaza Cultural Community Garden in the Lower East Side which is now called the East Village for real estate marketing purposes maybe. And from what I know, Rolando wants to save the world from trash, I think. The following is the email he sent for his event. Have a great art and recycle day.

Matter, in this case WASTED MATTER becomes one with the human spirit allowing us to be redeemed as a wholesome unit again.
In the first gathering of september 2000, ANUKI, the protector of all insects revealed the third mystery, "TOKAGE" (STORAGE), to the attending Yanbukis.
A mythology about Trash has evolved in the past 7 years. A family of spirits, good vs. evil, angels vs. devils, much like established worships.

An Ode To Blogging
Okay, so now I am not so sure if I want to keep singing that Ode To Blogging song anymore because maybe I may be singing my way into an ode of debt in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. I have been singing about that Ode to blogging Google page rank thing for a while now, so much that instead of that Google page rank of a hundred that I dreamed of, I now find this blog having a Google page rank of a negative one hundred or something like that. Seems to be according to the tons of blog postings that I have read just today alone, that Google and the Google Gods may be putting everyone whose websites are attempting to advertise and link build their way to riches and search engine heaven out of a day job or something like that. And I have even placed one of those Disclosure Policies on this page in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door. Where will I go to find that fourth day job now that this blogs page rank has decreased. An ode to blogging, I am not so sure if I want to sing that song anymore. Have a great blogging day.
The Freelancer
I have always wanted to be a freelancer, I think. I sometimes find myself using the word freelance when people ask me that question "And so, what do you do for a living?", and then also when I run out of things to explain for myself as to what my day job is. And what is freelancing anyway? I imagine is has something to do with the freelance market place, working for ones self and being self employed or something. It can be a great way of outsourcing work for programmers, copywriters, graphic designers, writers, consultants and other professionals who can post, advertise and bid their services and projects around town to others and get their job done. Whatever freelancing is, I guess it can be a great way to find work. This is a sponsored post.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch?
Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Here is a very funny email I received the other day that was fowarded from a friend that was fowarded from another friend that was fowarded from another friend and so on and so on and so on. I guess it can be perceived as funny if you happen to speak German.
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". Christmas Lending
Now I find the following press release interesting. So much that I wanted to post about it. I thought only America was in debt with that stock market falling due to delinquent loans, mortgages and foreclosures, so much that the Federal Reserve is printing up extra money to cover it all. Well, I guess according to the following press release, the Brits in the UK are in debt also and savebuckets.co.uk can help you save buckets on your Christmas shopping this year. They are a new price comparison site with some interesting research into Christmas spending and debt. Happy Holy dayze. This is a sponsored post.
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST HAUNTS INDEBTED BRITS
- New price saving site launches to save Brits up to 20% this Christmas -
As the nation approaches the final countdown to Christmas, new research rings alarm bells over the financial impact of Christmas in credit crunch Britain. The research from the new money saving website Savebuckets.com reveals that as Brits prepare for Christmas, many are still paying off last year’s festive spending.
With 41 per cent of Britons paying for Christmas on credit last year, almost one in five are still paying for last year’s festivities (17%), fewer than one in three having cleared their Christmas debts when their January credit card bill arrived (29%).
Following a year of consumer confidence in 2006, Christmas spending soared 52 per cent in two years (from an average £548 per adult in 2004* to £837 per adult in 2006), with over one in five Brits spending over £1,000 on Christmas last year (22%). This year, with spending power at its lowest level for 10 years**, consumers are feeling the financial hangover from a more confident Christmas enjoyed on the credit card and loans.
Alarmingly, it is cash strapped youngsters and low income earners who, having spent the most on last Christmas, are most likely to be feeling the repercussions of last year’s spending spree (see figures below).
The research into the financial impacts of last Christmas amongst a GB representative sample of 2,000 British adults was carried out by the new money savings website Savebuckets.com which launches this week to enable Brits to get more for their money this Christmas.
With these alarming figures in mind, Savebuckets.com will give shoppers the opportunity to save up to 20% on their Christmas shopping. Putting consumers back in control of their spending, the site searches over 700 retailers for the best price on around one million products. The site includes a unique price checker which allows consumers to set the price they want to pay for items, notifying them when the price of a product falls to within their budget.

Pay Per IZEA?
Hugh? Am I seeing things? There is an email sitting in my inbox with the title that reads "PayPerPost is Now IZEA". Hugh? PayPerPost is what? Pay Per Post was or is the greatest name ever. Oh no! Will I ever be able to quit my day job now in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. Will I have to get two day jobs now? And I have not even read the email for the title alone gets me going. The thought that Pay Per Post is now who? Does Pay Per Post mention what this newly found name is all about on their blog? As companies change their names all the times for whatever reasons. I should read their blog or that email now for further information on what this is about. Maybe this is all an illusion in the blogosphere. Or maybe I do not need to read it as they are still there blogging away as the kings, or as what I perceive as the kings of the pay per post blogging world. Or is kings a good word to use. Maybe leaders of the blogging world, or is leaders a good word to use. Maybe paid blogging companies is a better word to use. Well, whatever this newly found change of name is all about, Pay Per Post still rocks. Oh, I mean IZEA still rocks.
