The Internet

And in case one has been stuck in the stone age of centuries ago, one may have not realized that these days and times happen to be the age of all things computers and that recent thing called the internet, world wide web. And who would have thought that one day everyone could have one of those personal computers to connect with others and do lots of other computing like things on those television like devices where one can change the channel on, like some information overload kind of thing. And welcome to the age of space technology. And do you sometimes find yourself in the middle of nowhere here on planet earth, unable to access that internet and connect to the world web web to surf that web. Well now there's satelite internet for those who find themselves in the middle of nowhere. With satellite internet, I would imagine that one could connect to that internet sitting or a beach, or even in the middle of the ocean. Now with one of those satellites communication devices placed high up in the sky that beam those satelite beams down to planet earth, one could be surfing the web in no time, even from the middle of nowhere somewhere here on planet earth. And with the invention of all things internet, finding one of those satelite internet companies can be just a website visit away.

The Rent Is Too Damn High.org

The rent is too damn high. And if you live in that city of New York, your rent may be to damn high, The Rent Is Too Damn High, and your rent is too damn high. And how do I know the rent is too damn high in that city of New York, and probably just about everywhere in the world right about now, because Jimmy McMillan when he was standing on the corner of 14th Street and 1st Ave a while ago with that rent is too damn high party van with all of those the rent is too damn high party posters all over it with those the rent is too damn high horns on that rent is to damn high car blaring that the rent is too damn high message next to that rent is too damn high table with that rent is too damn high literature on it says so. And I have read of this rent is too damn high guy in the papers before when he ran as the rent is too damn high party campaigner for mayor right along with that Naked Cowboy who finds himself half naked playing guitar in Times Square in that city of New York all the time, every so often. And it does seem to be a gentrification to the point of genocide kill off the poor who can afford to live anywhere day and times to where even the yuppies, those young urban professionals, can't even afford to pay the rent without ten full time jobs and twenty roomates these days and times, as those same two hundred dollar apartments from long lore ago, now seem to be two thousand dollar apartments in the game of monopoly. And what about those utopian ideas? Housing is a human right. If you need a home, take one. And you don't even have to pay taxes. I have thought developers or individuals should work with the market place on how to formalize squatters rights, that the world housing crisis and mortgage meltdown will give rise to the squatters struggle as a vision of a world freed from bankers, bosses, and landlords who currently claim ownership and by freeing the land from the oppressors and creating zones of resistance and saying no to concentrated landlord and government ownership; to create a viable alternative for people of neighborhoods to restore homes through their own efforts. It is my utopian vision of seeing the earth as a liberated zone one day. Whose right is it to own the land that was supposed to be given to us free anyway? That the basic necessity of life, shelter is not free. Free the land. Squat The World. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible. And what if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

The Cash Register

And in blah blogger thoughts on this day. Whatever happened to those good old fashioned check out registers, ringing, pull the hand lever with those numbers that roll around in those windows on the top of them like those lottery number windows, cast iron steel cash registers of the past. It seems like the shopping, buying and selling transactions that I encounter in those merchant stores these days and times all involve those computerized and digitalized cash registers that seem to break down on a daily basis, to where I keep hearing sales clerks say things like "The computers not working", or "The server is down", or "You can't purchase this item because the computer is not working", or "Please wait til I reboot the cash register so that you can purchase that item", or "The credit card machine is not working", or some other phrase to where it seems like I can't even shop anymore. And it could be the age of the rfid tag barcode, save no man that he may buy or sell except that he have the mark of the beast globalism conspiracy thing, maybe. What's that all about in these high tech technology all things electronic buy and sell days?

Anderson Cooper 360: The News that Defines Our Time

Probably the benchmark of quality newscasting, Anderson Cooper 360 is one of the freshest takes on traditional television news on Direct TV in New York. The program revels in the character and personality of all of its anchors. Anderson is one of the most charismatic anchors in the industry, having a personality that bleeds through the screen and an insightful and often humorous signature candor. The stories, whether about current events or human interest, are always thoroughly researched and presented with care. The extensive coverage of the Hurricane Katrina was particularly touching and poignant. I have never seen news that touched an emotional zenith, especially on a major news network. Beyond the content, it's easy to respond to the graphic design of the show, continuing the CNN network's crisp, colorful and information packed style. The style of the show absolutely showcases a good HD television set with its powerful and innovative graphical sense, which I get to enjoy even more fully using my satellite television connection. I believe the show holds a weight and relevance that will be the definitive chronicle of our time. Anderson Cooper and his news team should feel proud of what they have accomplished and how they have advanced the television news medium.

Facebookaholicness

And somehow I came across one of those MSN.com headlines yesterday that read something like "Facebook Feeling Unfriendly Toward 'Social Network'- NYTimes.com". And this headline had something to do with Facebook not being happy with its portrayal in the Movie about Facebook, The Social Network. And as one of those internetaholics and facebookaholics, I have been watching the trailer for this movie that's supposed to be in theaters October 1st, ever since. And so that YouTube video for this trailer is posted above. And that YouTube video spoof of this Facebook, The Social Network Movie trailer is posted above also. And that is one hilarious video. A Dumbo Arts Festival 2010

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And that 14th Annual Dumbo Arts Festival 2010 and Two Trees sponsored event is happening again in this year, September 24th-26th, in that neighborhood of downtown under the Manhattan bridge overpass in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to be found in that city of New York, in that country of North America. Time. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries, millenniums, etc;. If I could turn back the hands of time and any other saying there is to be said about that word time. And watches and clocks are another one of those things that I have seen everywhere throughout my travels here on planet earth for as long as I can remember throughout time. The Dating Game

The dating game. And I have seen that game a lot throughout my travels here on planet earth. And wasn't that the name of one of those game shows on television in the 70's or something, couples on television asking each other all kinds of are you the right person for me in life questions. And what about those compatibility questions, as those questions can mean a lot I think when it comes to finding that one person to share ones life with, I think. And so I have always thought of relations as too complex for me to comprehend sometimes, the are you single, are you looking for someone, are you married, are you available, is she your girlfriend, is he your boyfriend, are you this and are you that in life kind of questions. And another one of those things that I have seen throughout my travels here on planet earth again, is that with the invention of online dating, long gone and long lore ago are those bars, clubs, events, meeting places and other kinds of pick up places used for finding that one person to date. Although maybe those places are still around for that purpose. It's just that now with the invention of all things internet, one can now find that person of their dreams on the computer, right next to one of those photos of their profile that tells someone all about them without having to use one of those pick up lines to pick one up, as it is usually straight to the point and obvious for what reason one is visiting those online dating sites for anyway. And what a long way the dating game has come in the age of all things high tech. Have a great dating, relationship and more day.

Windows

Windows. And what else is there that I can say about this subject of windows that has not already been said. And I have seen a lot of those glass pained squares that usually go on those dwelling like structures called houses and buildings throughout my travels here on planet earth. And those windows can be great for looking in or outside of those dwelling structures to see what's going on in or outside of those structures. And so what about some kind of covering for those windows if one does not want to see inside or outside of those buildings. Well there are shutters, curtains, blinds, made to measure blinds and all kinds of other materials that can be used to cover those windows. And from what I can recall, curtains and blinds are great for blocking out the sun also and must have a lot of other uses for those windows also that I am unable to think of as type this post that happens to be about windows and the things that cover them for some reason or another. And now with the invention of all things internet and online shopping, one does not even have to leave home to buy those window coverings, or at least one does not have to leave a computer to buy those blinds and more, as now buying those window coverings can be just a website visit away.

Hey bloggers, and in case you have been in one of those caves here on planet earth the last decade or so and you haven't heard, it seems to be the age of high tech communications and internet everything these days and time. You know, that recent phenomenon that everyone is talking about. And it seems to be the age of the internet so much that who would have ever thought that every one could have one of those personal computers to compute on right out of the palm of their hands. And with those personal computers comes along hosting hub and also the question of who is going to host that website that I am going to put on that internet, as it seems as if all of those websites to be found out there in internetland need some place to call home. And with the invention of the internet, that television like object that one can watch, listen to and change the channels on to watch just about any kind of program one can think of, and also that television like object that has seemingly endless amounts of information to be found on it, there is also to be found websites to host those domains to be found in cyberworld in the domain name game. And so if you happen to be looking for one of those domain names, or some other kind of web hosting service, finding it can be just a website visit away.

Random Thoughts

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And so on this day I have find myself yet again encountering that blah bloggers block thing where I find myself wondering what to blah blog about on this blagh for the sake of maintaining content for it whenever possible. And how do those other bazillion bloggers out there in bloggerland find things to blog about on those blogs all the time. Is there some internet guru for that? And so this random thought is about all of those emails that have been sitting in my email inbox with titles like "npsgirl sent you a video: Deadly Gases Leaking from BP Oil Spill & How It's Being Used Against Us PT 3 of 9", one of those YouTube videos, and "OIL SPILL - NEW INFO bulge on ocean floor, methane gas buildup will lead to explosion", another one of those YouTube videos, and "Some Say BP's Oil Spill Heralds the Apocalypse", a Newsweek.com article, and "I just saw it on CNN.com: Anatomical ridicule raises body-scanning concerns", which I guess is a CNN article, and also "Proof+that+vulcanic+ash+comes+from+a+Nordic+god",
and these all seem to be videos and articles that I have sent to myself in some sort of frantic, newsaholicness and blogaholicness that one day I may watch and read all of those videos and articles. And oh, there's also "Yahoo! News Story - A 2nd garbage patch: Plastic soup seen in Atlantic - Yahoo! News", "The Buzz Log - China Earthquake Raises Questions, Concerns - Yahoo! Buzz" and "The Buzz Log - Invasion of the Giant Squids - Yahoo! Buzz" sitting in that email inbox as well. And the titles of these news articles seem to speak for themselves. And am I ever going to get around to reading all of these articles in the age of the MTV ten second nanosecond attention span, a million pieces of information every half a second overload high tech everything information generation age. And so goes on this days random thought in the bloggerspere here on planet earth. Have a great news and more day.
