Get Rich Internet Quick?
This internet Tech stuff is taking me everywhere on the internet these dayze and I am losing sleep over it. I should start an anti internet get sleep soon routine. All, or at least most of the pay per blog post and review sites have rejected me, all for the same reason...new page, try again in 90 days or Google page rank 0? What's that Alexa ranking? I have learned to view my site statistics and in all honesty it looks awful. So with this I realize I will not be blogging for bucks anytime soon and I kannot quit my day job. And trying to increase my page ranking has taken me everywhere on the internet also, first it started with the linking and backlinking, inbound and outbound linking thing, what do I do, what does that mean, create more websites? Oh, another Google search for domain name registration and webhosting... http://www.GoDaddy.com , or http://www.Register.com etc, there are endless sites and they are all too confusing when trying to figure out the best deal for cheap or no money. You can see the result of my do-it-yourself domain name registration at http://www.nopolicestategirl.com . And how do you get these links to appear without the www extension? And then there are those directories again, that could take a whole year registering one by one for those things just to get a link back. Isn't there a way to register your site with every single search engine and directory in one simple click? And then somehow I discovered Social Bookmarking as a way to improve your page ranking but that's a whole another job also but maybe it will help. And as usual I get sidetracked with a whole another topic, this time it was http://www.mediabistro.com , a site for media professionals that I sent a ton of resumes for writing jobs to with my blog page link and I am not sure if it was to get a job or just to promote my blog. And now back on track with the page ranking thing, I guess it only matters if one wants advertising sponsorship so I have read from all of these endless online tutorials. Do any of these make money online blogs know something I haven't tried yet? Let me know. I could sure use a get rich internet quick link building fast, increase your page ranking fast tech guru scheme. Any ideas? Please share your thoughts.

Big Brother Is Watching You
George Orwell was a prophet. He is best known for his books critical of communisim, fascism, stalinism and totalitarianism. It seems as if everything he wrote in his dystopic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four has come true today. The world seems as if it has become his science fiction novel and is now Oceania and Eurasia. There are now surveillance cameras or "telescreens" everywhere in our society, showing political propaganda which have built in cameras and microphones to watch over the citizens. Everything the people do is targeted by the telescreens. Even in their homes people have telescreens, some of them are even talking to us and it is one big surveillance state. Our civil rights are diminishing with each passing day in the name of "security". Is there now a totalitarian government bent on totally manipulating and controlling everything, including thought and emotion?" Are you familiar with the terms "Newspeak","Oldspeak", "Doublethink","Two Minute Hate", "Groupthink", "Thought Police", "Goodthink", "Crimethink", "Telescreens", "The Inner Party", "The Outer Party", "Minipax", "Minitrue", "Miniluv", "Miniplenty"", "Joy Camps","Proles", "Comrades", "Room 101"? These are several terms used in George Orwells book that can easily be applied to our life today. Orwellianism is around us everywhere. Here are some passages and excerpts from his book: "Who controls the past, controls the future, who controls the present controls the past","2+2=5, If the Leader says of such and such an event, "It never happened"—well, it never happened. If he says that two and two are five—well, two and two are five, if everybody believes it, does that make it true? Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two makes four, if that is granted, all else follows". "War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Stregnth", "It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is, Victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia but to keep the very structure of society intact." Is Big Brother, some mysteriuos figurehead like person who sees and knows everything but never appears in person watching us?
And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Get paid to surf the internet
The internet has been helpful at making money online these days and this offer sounds like a really great income opportunity to take advantage of. Get paid to surf the internet with Agloco. Agloco, http://www.agloco.com is a new company that will pay you to use their toolbar. I have more than enough toolbars that I already use but I have never heard of such a great offer from any company before to surf the net for money with no strings attached. What a great way to make free money while browsing and surfing the net doing what I already do hours at a time anyway. Does this mean that me and my friends can quit our day jobs? Agloco means a global community, it is a new company that is just starting out and they are like no other company in that the difference is they will pay you to use their toolbar that is installed at the bottom of your browser and you get paid as you surf. Agloco gets paid by advertisers to reach their members through their Viewbar and they give the advertising revenue back to you. The company is owned by its members that sign up. You do not have to keep clicking on the toolbar or anything and there are none of those pop up ads. This sounds like a great online money making opportunity. You can sign up at http://agloco.com This is a sponsored review.

Whose Domain Name Is It Anyway?
Well I don't know how this happened but yesterday I got caught up in looking up parked domain name registrations on the computer and spent all day trying to build websites and craming them with every keyword imaginable in order to increase search engine optimization and get people to visit my site, and it seems as if it's all for those adsense ads I have on my page, or is it for the content of my page? And then I get sidetracked and start reading other peoples blogs on mybloglog.com about celebrity gossip, making money online, promoting and advertising your blog, marketing your blog, work at home businesses, 1,000 cookbooks, 1,000 blogs, one million blogs, blogs about blogs about blogs about blogs and the list goes on and on. And so I logged out of mybloglog and continued my search for the ultimate domain name. And Google is great for searching every term that comes to mind when it comes to blogging and anything else. It's an educational tool in itself. Everything on the internet seems to be powered by Google. This latest new Silicon Valley web 2.0 user generated content dot.com bubble is great.

Wirefly National Marathon
I am happy to share the news that Wirefly, http://www.wirefly.com will be having its second year marathon this year and it's all for a great cause to benefit local District of Columbia childrens organizations. Wirefly, the cell phone superstore, is the #1 seller of cell phones and wireless plans. You can shop by different carriers such as Verizon Wireless, Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint and more. They have many different cell phone companies all on a single website and you can choose your cell phone plan and features in minutes. And what greater time of year for Wirefly to have a National Marathon than the begining of spring when exercise is truly beneficial after the winter season. I have not made it to the gym lately and what better way is there to exercise and see the Washington DC area than for a great cause for charity. The Wirefly National Marathon, http://www.nationalmarathon.com will take place in the Greater Washington DC area March 24, 2007 starting at 7AM and will be run entirely within the District of Columbia starting and finishing at the historic RFK Stadium. There will be award ceremonies, festivals and other family fun. Runners can see fantastic views of DC like the Capitol and other historic sites and monuments the area has to offer. You can register to be a runner or volunteer online, see the course map and get other race day information. Visit http://www.nationalmarathon.com to show your support and help make history at the Wirefly National Marathon. This is a sponsored review. Have a great day.

Transportation Alternatives
Today I am sitting here with several different newspapers from the past few weeks in front of me with various headlines that read "Effort to reclaim our streets is picking up speed", it's time to get back to simpler, safer, less polluting forms of transportation, and "NYC street carnage", calls to make city safe for walking after weekend deaths, and "Bicyclists give gift to a chief who gave them hell" and "The Ghost Bike Project",and "Mean Streets, Getting hit is still a problem downtown" and as I stated in an earlier post New York is a pedestrian town. What I did not state is that New York is also a non friendly bicyclists town. Most every street here in New York is like a highway. When the traffic light says walk, I run. The bicycle lanes in the streets are located right next to parked cars whose doors could open at any time without notice right in front of you while riding your bike. Critical mass is a movement of bicycles in the streets who address issues such as safer streets for bicyclists. They hold monthly bike rides that are organized by the bicycle advocacy group Times Up! They have ghost bike memorials, tributes all across the country of white painted bikes to all of the bicyclists who have lost their lives as a result of mean streets and they are often arrested by the police just for having bike rides. I don't know the statistics but about a decade ago if I remember correctly, these bicycle headlines never existed, the streets were not so congested with automobiles and there weren't so many bicyclists injured and Critical Mass was not so busy with bicycle memorials as they are now. And most of the time drivers of automobiles are given a summons for failure to give a pedestrian the right of way or not even penalized at all as if bicyclists are just road kill. It is my hopes that these laws will change one day and New York will make its streets more bicycle friendly. Will a pedestrian safety plan save lives? Transportation Alternatives is working to reverse the decades-long process of public space "nibbling" that has resulted in wide, car-oriented streets that breed needless traffic, carbon emissions and pollution while putting walkers and cyclists at a dangerous disadvantage. Maybe the traffic increase has to do with the population explosion. In China they use bicycles as their main source of transportation, China is renowned as the kingdom of bikes, how must their bicycle friendly streets rate be? And what does this have to do with a No Police State? You can read more about these bicycle advocacy groups at http://www.transalt.org , http://www.critical-mass.org , and http://www.times-up.org . Have a great day.

Just Say Hi - Free Dating Site
I still need a date sometimes, and I am still always looking to meet new friends. The internet has forever changed the online dating world and now JustSayHi, http://www.justsayhi.com/vs/yahoo has made it a whole lot easier. Looking for relationships gets tiresome sometimes running around to bars all the time trying to meet people. I really dig JustSayHi.com because I keep going back to their site. The fact that a free online dating website exists is overwhelming to me and I can hardly comprehend it. Yahoo Personals are okay, but why pay money to meet new friends when you can meet just as great friends for free? JustSayHi, http://www.justsayhi.com/vs/yahoo has all the same features as Yahoo Personals and you don't even need a credit card and that is such a hassle for me having to pay to use a dating site with a credit card. With no credit card required, all one has to do is sign up and start meeting people. I can try all the different dating sites but when it comes to money, with JustSayHi I don't even have to think about it and their site seems so much funner and easier to use than all of the rest, and there are a lot of dating sites out there, some better than others. At justsayhi.com their site works great. I could say http://www.justsayhi.com/vs/yahoo is the best all time free dating site. This site makes a great alternative to paid online dating. It is just as great as any other paid dating website. Have a great day.

MyBlogLog
So I discovered this really kool website yesterday by accident because I must admit I have recently been trying to figure out how to blog for dollars, or at least for pennies. The website is called mybloglog.com, http://www.mybloglog.com and I found them through Sponsored Reviews, because again I am trying to blog for at least pennies and believe me, I am broke, that is how I have so much time to spend on this computer MySpacing and Craigslisting for lack of work, and now Myblogloging has been added to the list of internet addictions. I almost want to put one of those tip and donation jars on my page like I see other bloggers doing. MyBlogLog's site is really kool, it kind of works like MySpace, a social networking site which is how I became immediately addicted to it. You can create a profile to promote your blog and then network with other bloggers. And a lot of those blog profiles are really kool because they have a lot of helpful information about blogging. Oh, and I forgot to mention, this is not a sponsored review. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Cell Phones in a Wireless World
I love my cell phone, sometimes I don't know how I got through life without it. It has made life so much easier for me. I can communicate with anyone, anywhere at anytime. Cell phones are so amazing, one of the best things to happen since the invention of the machine, and technology is so amazing to me all of the new high tech devices that are in use today. Every so often I need a new cell phone for various reasons and finding out who has the best cell phone carrier plan has often made this a daunting task. It is often such a big task for me to go running around to all of the various cell phone retail stores looking for and comparing prices. InPhonic, http://www.inphonic.com ,and Wirefly, http://Wirefly.com has changed all of that. They have made it so much more easier for me to just shop online. These companies have made it so much more convenient for me to find out which cell phone carrier has the best plans and prices, and you can purchase and activate your cell phone online, all from one easy to use website. Wirefly is the #1 seller of cell phones and wireless plans. You can shop by different carriers such as Verizon Wireless, Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint and more. They have so many different cell phone companies all on a single website and you can choose your cell phone plan and features in minutes. While looking through their website I was able to compare services from the different cell phone carriers and find a lot of great deals. You can also read more about InPhonic at http://www.washingtontimes.com/business/20070226-100041-4607r.htm and at http://www.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=INPC

Parking in a No Police State World
What is is about having an automobile and parking in this town? I'm still stuck in bicycle land as a pedestrian. New York is a pedestrian town. One needs a full time job just to afford a car here. I realize the troubles of having a car in New York from hearing horror stories from friends and by riding around with them in their cars sometimes. Between looking for parking spaces and driving around in circles for hours at a time and then when you finally do find a parking space, half of the parking meters are broken, and then you are subject to parking tickets and having your car towed just for parking and the towing of cars and parking tickets is the biggest money racket I have ever seen in New York. And the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us can be your worst nightmare. One can consider renting monthly parking garages for parking space but their monthly rent costs more than the rent for my apartment. And then one has to arrange their life around their car with these off the side of the street parking rules, another money racket, by having to get up at insanely early hours every day just to move you car across the street. And the insurance rates here are one of the highest in the nation to where one considers getting out of town license plates just to save money. And that's not even including the cost of maintainence. Cars are great, they are helpful, but if I ever got one, I would need to find a job just to support it. Have a great day.

Free Online Dating
Sometimes I need a date, sometimes I need a friend, and at True.com and http://www.justsayhi.com/vs/true I can find the person I am looking to meet. JustSayHi.com is a free online dating service, which sounds great to me, the whole idea of free and no credit card required, so that's the biggest incentive for me to try them right now. And their site looks really kool and easy to use. JustSayHi.com has communities in all the U.S. cities and states and you can meet singles by joining their active message boards, posting in forums or participate in polls and surveys. Their site sounds like a great site for online dating and matchmaking and a great way to browse online personals of single men and women in your area. This is a sponsored review. Have a great day.

Army Recruiting in a No Police State World
Yesterday I received a mass email asking for jail support in a call for solidarity for 23 people arrested at a recruiting station. Apparently nearly 100 students from area universities marched to the armed forces recruiting station on 157 Chambers Street. Twenty-three members of Students for a Democratic Society entered and occupied the recruiting station shutting down recruitment activity for nearly two hours. Outside dozens more protesters supported those being arrested with chants including, “Troops out now,” “No justice, no peace. U.S. out of the Middle East,” and “Stop the war. I noticed the recruitment office is located next to the College I once attended, BMCC, a predominantly low income minority school. Military recruitment offices seem to thrive around poor and low income neighborhoods. Would these poverty pimps send their own children to the war? Why can't there be a better financial support base , more income and retirement opportunities and free education for individuals of a recruitment age so that they will not have to consider being fodder for the canon as their only option? And what does this have to do with the No Police State?

Homeless in the World
So I was riding the New York City subway train the other day going my way, listening to those prerecorded messages of the MTA terrorizing its riders with the "If you see a suspicious package say something" message and I see a seemingly homeless woman sitting across from me with a big shopping bag, a garbage bag, wearing no socks in the middle of winter and sleeping. The rest of the subway car is full and the immediate seats around her are emply. I walk past homeless persons everyday in my whereabouts of this town and every city must have this problem. Will the poor we have always with us? Whose land is it anyway? Whose right is it to own the land that was supposed to be given to us free anyway? That the basic necessity of life, shelter is not free. I believe New York City has the highest concentration of poverty in America. As a former squatter in the Lower East Side, I believe in utopian ideas. If you need a home, take one. And you don't even have to pay taxes. I believe developers or individuals should work with the market place on how to formalize squatters rights, that the world housing crisis will give rise to the squatters struggle as a vision of a world freed from bankers, bosses, and landlords who currently claim ownership and by freeing the land from the oppressors and creating zones of resistance and saying no to concentrated landlord and government ownership; to create a viable alternative for people of neighborhoods to restore homes through their own efforts. It is my utopian vision of seeing the earth as a liberated zone one day. And what does this have to do with the No Police State?

Random Thoughts
So I've been on my myspace page a lot in the past few days and many random thoughts have been coming to mind as I look at the friends on my pages and the current events in real life. It looks like my artwork isn't going back into my closet after all for the next month. I just put up artwork in a group show as part of an art and music event in Queens and I hope that event rocks. My friend the musician plays music in the New York City subway sometimes as part of the MTA Arts for Transit, Music Under New York program http://www.mta.info , and the police shut them down sometimes with policies.. My question of the day is: "Since when is art a crime, and what does this have to do with an MTA No Police State?"

Mind, Body and Spirit
I need a Guru, Krishna, Buddah, Ghandi, The Dali Lama, a Shaman, some mystical figure, anyone. Is there a full moon today? I need spiritual healing and awareness to destress from the stress of city life in the masses of humanity here in New York. I could use a bunch of yoga classes, some meditation courses, a yoga retreat, a good spa or some other relaxation technique to raise my consciousness; free of course. Maybe I can chant a mantra toward my way to stress free living. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel, a new awakening? Peace of mind is the way to go. Well I can't afford a membership at the gym and I've used up all of my free trial memberships everywhere. I may have to resort to paying twenty dollars now for a Two-Week Trial Membership at New York Sports Club http://www.nysc.com oh well. Todays question of the day: What about that topic in the news today about banning the use of the "N" word? Isn't that an issue of free speech? A social ethics question? And what does that have to do with the No Police State?
