Trials And Tribulations

And this day seems to be some day that is called black Friday in that country of America. Some name that seems to be made up for the purpose of consumerism, consumerism, and overconsumerism And what about sustainability in consumerism. And this day is also that buy nothing day, as in buy nothing in ones consumerism. And I find myself here looking at and reading articles that are sitting in my email inbox with titles that read Five hostages killed in Jewish center, chaos at hotel, Mumbai gunmen besiege hotels, Wife shot and killed at New Jersey church, Man killed at Scientology building had church ties. And these are articles from the past week. And the one factor they all seem to have in common is gun violence. And this is a story that seems to be never ending from yesterday, today and tomorrow. Yet another person has lost his life to gun violence. Guns are the worst invention of a death industry ever. And it is an industry of war, a vicious cycle that seems to feed upon itself. If only guns and firearms could be banished from every person on the face of planet earth, and from every form of media, marketing, video games, toys an advertising. And with those presidential elections that have taken place in that country of America, is gun violence an issue that will ever be addressed, or will it simply be a continuation of the current rhetoric of the state, "The war on terrorism". And the state of what. And who are the terrorists? And sometimes I wonder if these are all signs of the beginning of the end of the world when civil liberty concerns are a concern, society and its morals and values collapses and global terrorism exists. And I start to wonder if the world is seemingly spinning out of control and if this is all 2012 and Kali Yuga descending on track. Where is the world headed. Is there hope for the world. And for some reason that verse comes to mind again from that Bible book, "For the love of money is the root of all evil, and while some have coveted after, they have erred from the faith and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows". Does power and authority breed corruption. And I am only one blogger. One voice in an internet world of web 2.0. No one is free when others are oppressed. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Black Friday

And that day on the morrow must be Thanksgiving. I know because the supermarket lines that are out the door an the restaurant menus that are posted on their doors says so. And remember the Indians, who were seemingly betrayed for a bag of beads, as this country of America may have been founded on violence. And what the heck is a Black Friday, as that day must be the next day son after that holiday of Thanksgiving. And I know Black Friday must be this Friday because the cell phone conversations on the streets with subjects like "Friday is payday". They got Black Friday this Friday". And the tons of advertising headlines that read "Sample Sales, Woodbury Common Premium Outlet Black Friday Sale: Nov 28, IKEA's Black Friday Sale: Nov 28, H & M's 24 Hours Of Black Friday Savings: Nov 28, Black Friday Wine Special At Burke In The Box At Bloomingdale's, Housing Works Thrift Shops Wine Saturday Event?, what's a White Saturday?, Best & Co's Black Friday Sale, Muji's New Chelsea Store Giveaway, and the Black Friday advertising sale headlines seem to be endless. And this buy as much as you can spendaholicness could be interesting with that impending recession depression going on. And I must have blah blogged about this Thanksgiving Day holiday before on this blog, as this blog seems as if it wants to repeat itself another year that I have been blaghing about blogatopics. And then there's that make up another name to go shopping and spend money holiday called "Cyber Monday". What the heck is that all about? And that could be a whole another blog posting. Oh, and there's also Buy Nothing Day this week also, as in buy nothing in ones consumerism. Have a great remember the Indians day and eat more tofurky.

Cointelpro

Today is a new day and change has come. And with that change comes programming about the civil rights movement and Cointelpro. What's a cointelpro. A coin that tells a pro? Does that internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have an entry for this? Ooh, and Wikipedia just said it's called the Counter Intelligence Program. As in to counter intelligent people or something? Is that a big brother is watching you are on candid camera word or something. I came across that word while watching a program on television the other day. And according to that program, Cointelpro was something that was used by Presidents of that country of America to spy on, sabotage and terrorize of some sort its citizens from days long ago. And it talked about the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, or is that the Federal Bureau of Infiltration and Inciting. And for what reason does that confederate flag contain the letters federal? And is that program and the people who use it still around to this day in different forms with different names? And what is the difference between right and wrong, rich and poor, black and white. No one is free when others are oppressed. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

A Luddite

A Luddite. What's a Luddite. I just ran across that word in a newspaper article that was talking about technology. And I gather this word may have something to do with technology and the industrial revolution maybe. And what's that industrial revolution all about anyway, is that when people protested the invention of the machine to replace human beings or something. And this is a historical word to me, someone who may be stuck in the stone age of the year 1400 and has not yet advanced to the twentieth century of superman and the Jetsons space age. And what was life before the invention of all of these high tech devices that surround humanity at the moment. What was life like before the invention of computers, the internet, social media, web 2.0, e mail, fax machines, cell phones, answering machine, compact disc, dvd's, 8 track tapes, web cams, information overload, satellites, jets, airplanes, trains, television, radio, guns, firearms, telephones, caller i.d., call waiting, the upc bar code, scanner technology everything, you're on candid camera everywhere you go on planet earth surveillance spy devices, gps global positioning system tracking devices, social security numbers, blackberry crackberries, laptops and a lot of other machinery and devices that passes me now. And has humanity become mechanical desensitized robots and slaves to the machine and the computer with the invention of these devices. What was life like to sit around the fire for conversation. Was life before the invention of technology and high tech devices a more simpler time. And what does that word Luddite mean again, does that internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have an entry for that? Luddite, that sounds like an historical, antique stone age word to me. Technology has changed the world.

Rivington Street

What happened to Rivington Street and how long have I been gone that this street where I cross Delancey has changed so fast from neighborhood mom and pop stores to the chi shi cafe, bar and lounge scene that it now appears to be. And the articles on gentrification in New York must be endless by now, to where the yuppies, or is it young urban professionals, can't even afford the rent. And does this street reflect the state of New York and the rest of the world when it comes to gentrification and genocide with its population and change of real estate scenery. And I want to say some sort of prayer in memory of for this street in the Lower East Side of that City of New York. As this street looks like a wrecking ball has went through it within the past day or seemingly a week. And every decade in New York seems to have its era when it comes to real estate. And that apartment from 1960 that was $160.00 is now $1,600.00. And the 99. cents stores are now $9.99 cents stores. And there are now skyscrapers where nothing has stood before. And places where farmland once stood, are now concrete jungles. It is no longer the year 1800 anymore. And there seems to be what seems like boat loads of people to accompany this genocide change of scenery in the real estate development scene. And what is genocide anyway? And the only thing constant is change. And is the world overpopulated with that j bell curve thing, to where there are now 6.66 billion people on planet earth and the population is expected to double in the next twenty years or something like that, resulting in urban sprawl and over development. And what is urban sprawl anyway? Is that a whole another blog entry. And so I thought to post this poem:

Long Live the Lower East Side
Long Live The Revolution of the Pseudo Anarchist Hippy Bohemian Squatter Revolutionary Lower East Side In Alphabet City where God Bless America becomes God F.. America and red white and blue becomes red and black and where the capitalist capitalize off the capitalism of the capital.
With your gentrified glorified tenements and artists coffee lounge lounges riddled with the blood of the long lost past that had the horses running through it, the pigs running round it, and the helicopters hoovering over it. The bandshell that stood as a symbol of freedom for all long torn down, lost and forgotten. NO POLICE STATE, NO HOUSING NO PEACE, F.. THE CURFEW, FREE THE LAND, free that park, that park everywhere. Freedom and utopia a thing of the past.
So now in Alphabet City I walk down your streets conformed to the conformity of the conformed and the conformist. Class War Class War on the poor run into the river and running to the river.
Flight of fight, sink or swim. Can you swim or will you die. Your skeletons of the war torn survivors walking the streets, your ghosts and their spirits scattered abroad and the ashes of your people who have come and gone in the struggle, of the struggle, from the struggle and the ashes of your people some dead some alive and some who have survived to shed their blood and skin and to tell the tale and conform to this thing called conformity.
Yeah, first it was them and then it was me. Whose gonna be left when big brother comes. Naked I have come from my mothers womb and naked shall I return thither to the dust where I come from.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Long Live the Lower East Side.

Music Under New York presents

And so somehow I found myself going to watch that jazz and beyond band Funk Monk play in the subway yesterday as part of the Music Under New York MTA MUNY Arts For Transit Program subway music series. And that band rocked. And I thought to take along that digital camera to take a digital photo of them playing to post on this blog entry, and for some reason that didn't happen. And so there was a flyer there also for the Music Under New York presents Jazz Fest November 17-21, Grand Central, Mezzanine that read something like as follows:

Music Under New York (MUNY) presents five days of MUNY musicians and their bands in celebration of America's original art form: Jazz.

etc; etc; etc; and so on and so on and so on...,
MUN is one of the many visual and performing art programs administered by the MTA Arts for Transit office. For 20 years MUNY has provided customers in the transit system with daily music performances. And their schedule of performers for this event was/is/are Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, New York Express led by Andy Friedberg, Tin Pan led by Jesse Selengut, Neffe Kragh Muller, Patrick Wolff Quartet, Artist Collective led by Tom Bruno, New Perspectives led by Henry P. Warner, Afro Andes led by Julian Avalos, Yaz Band led by Yasayuki Takagi, Alex Lodico Ensemble and Welf's Funk Monk.

What We Consume

Hey bloggers, and so it seems to be that time again where I find myself encountering what seems like it could be that blah bloggers block again where I find myself wondering about what to blagh about on this blog in the world of a million and seemingly bazillion other blogs out there in bloggerland. And what's the purpose of having one of those web 2. user generated content social media blogs again. Is it to share one thoughts, to rant and rave, to write ones diary or something like that. And then there comes that question again of how to maintain that blog and find content and everything else that may go along with a blog for it. And sometimes I wonder if I should post one of those "Bloggers Wanted" ads on Craigslist in hopes that a zillion other people could help me to maintain and blah blog on this blog. And how do those other bloggers out there in the bloggerworld maintain their blogs, and sometimes more than one blog, and more than two, or three, or four or fifty blogs those other bloggers in the blogosphere seem to be able to maintain. Is there an internet guru to answer this question. Does Wikipedia have an entry for this. Anyway, and so I came across this interesting email that seems to be sitting in my email inbox with a title that reads "What We Consume". And the title is interesting to me. And this twenty miute video is one of those environmental videos about the products we consume as consumers, and the waste that results. And this video seems to be about population and consumption, sustainability, disposal, production, social issues and the world. And this is an interesting video to watch to me, as it seems to be one of those videos that seeks to save the world and planet mother earth. And this video is the The Story of Stuff with Annie Leonard. Help save planet mother earth. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

A Receipt

And it is Sunday again. That sabbath day of rest day of the week. Or is that Saturday? And yet I find myself blogging again. And even with those California wildfires going on, and those North Carolina tornadoes happening, and what seems like the world spinning out of control and falling down all around me, I still find myself blogging again on this Sunday, a day of rest. And there is a food receipt sitting here before me that I have been staring at for a while now from someones birthday party that they choose to have in one of those overpriced expensive restaurants in that City of New York that was not exactly some fast food joint, or was it. And I have been staring at this receipt for a quite a while now only because I find this receipt for a night of dining out in that City of New York sort of a outrageous, some sort a joke I am unable to comprehend. And the bill for this meal of what amounted to $246.00 that automatically tacked on a "20% service charge of 38.40" without even asking anyone, as I guess it's supposed to be some sort of automatic tip or something, for six people is so out of order to me that I just thought to blah blog about it as follows. And I can think of a what seems like a million different things to do with this $246.00 for what seemed like one glorious $3.00 Chinese dinner. And I found this meal so overpriced, that I could not even enjoy the food. And it is this reason that I find myself on a diet of rice and beans sometimes and not being able to afford to eat out or eat anywhere besides the dumpster diving, in that City of New York sometimes. And even rice and beans seems to be out of reach with affordability these days and times with the price of food going through the roof:

1 PROSECCO 32.00
1 Avacado Tarta L (basically a small cup of guacamole) 11.00
1 White Bean Soup (a cup of beans....) 7.00
1 Yam & Yuca (some french fries) 6.00
1 Spinach Wonton (3 tiny, tiny spinach raviloies) 7.00
1 Risotto (a plate of rice with cheese) 18.00
1 Malaysian Curry 12.00
1 Iron Skillet 11.00
1 S & Konnyaku 17.00
1 Viet Noodle (a bowl of one dollar Chinatown rice noodles) 15.00
1 Sliced Seitan ( a one dollar can of Chinatown wheat gluten) 20.00
1 Edamame (a small portion of a one dollar fifty cents bag of edamame) 5.00
1 (GL) Prosecco 9.00
1 Chocolate Cake L (don't even remember ordering) 7.00
1 1 Scoop w/Choco 1.00
1 Mango Tapioca L 7.00
1 Fruit Crisp L 7.00
*20% srvchg 38.40*

food 151.00
liquor (the cheapest bottle they had) 41.00
Tax 16.08
service chg (what is this?) 3.40
10:43PM Total Due (and this is where the scary part starts..) 246.48

Voted Best (did they mean most expensive?) Vegetarian Restaurant, 2008.

Have a great food day

The Undertaker

And I have been thinking about death and that word autopsy lately for some reason. Maybe it's because that word autopsy of that phrase "And an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death" appears in the paper a lot for some reason. And no one knows the hour or their death do they. And know one can predict the day of their death can they? And who knows what tomorrow may bring for today thy soul may be required of thee. And has anyone ever talked to the dead, as the dead know nothing, do they? And there must be lot of more sayings about that word death. And so I start to think about autopsies and wondering for what reason are they performed and can one not have them performed on ones self when one passes away. Does a hospital or some bureaucratic state own an individuals soul in the end and can cut and carve a body up as if a second death. And who is immune from receiving one of these what seems like an invasion of the body practices when one passes. And I have heard autopsies are performed for the purposed of money maybe, for a beneficiary to receive a death certificate to receive some sort of insurance claim. And are there other reasons for these necro post mortem examinations and procedures on the dead? Does one have a right to refuse an autopsy? Are their some cultures and religions who do not take part on this procedure. Are there some alternatives to traditional burials with embalmings and the like, or is that a whole another blog posting. Can these autopsy things be discontinued, if possible. Are they really necessary? And who wants to be cut up when they die. Does Wikipedia, that internet bible dictionary have an answer for this. And what was life and death like before the invention of the autopsy. And what does that word mean anyway, auto psy, to spy one oneself? Are these all utopian like questions to be pondered or is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

A One Day Sale

Hey Bloggers, hurry hurry! It's time to go shopping. Sears is having a Big One Day sale. You know Sears don't you? That department store that has been around for decades and decades. And I think of that department store as being this really big huge store where one can spend all day and night in shopping in, their stores are so huge. And Sears is a department store where if you can't find it there for your holiday shopping, you can't find it anywhere, maybe. And now just in time for the holidays, holiday shoppers can find a Canon Powershot 8.0 megapixel 4X optical digital zoom still camera for 149.99 before your $30 instant savings, as well as a Sylvania 32” class LCD HDTV for only $429.99. And that Canon Powershot deal sounds awesome, as those Canon digital cameras make for great instant memories with those digital photos that they take. And these doorbuster items are on sale from November 15th from 7am to noon only and are at their lowest prices of the season. That's right. Their lowest prices of the season. And from what I recall, November 15th is just the day after tomorrow according to this calendar I am looking at on the wall. So set your alarm clocks and get your shopping shoes ready because Sears is having a big one day sale November 15th. And with their one day sale, your Christmas gifts and more are just a couple of days away. Happy Holidays.

Headline News

And this posting was supposed to be about something else on this day. And instead it is about a Yahoo headline that has appeared that reads "Woman slain as she tried to leave KKK rite". And another CNN headline that reads "Eight arrested in Klan related killing". And yet another person has lost their lives to gun violence for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. And it is a headline story that appears yesterday, today and tomorrow with no end in sight, that someone loses their lives to gun violence. And if only that fourth or is it the second amendment, the right to bear arms to protect ones property could be changed to say the right to bear sticks and stones or nothing at all. As if property is worth more than human life. And what would that NRA National Rifle Association have to say about this KKK gun violence loss of life. And what does the word Ku Klux Klan mean anyway. Does Wikipedia have an entry for this. These news articles go on to say that the KKK is a white supremacist group. And for what reason does the word supremacist, supremist have the letters racist in it, or does it. And what is white supremacy. Supremacy that is white. And what is supremacy, supreme, super, suppress. Black, brown, white, yellow, orange, red, purple, green, blue. We are all human. And this kkk event happened to take place on this day of Veterans Day of all days. That patriotic holiday in America that glorifies guns and the people who use them. And just earlier on this day in the previous post, I found myself blogging about an appeal to end gun violence. And I could just copy that preceding post over and over in my appeal to end gun violence. To banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth and from every form of marketing, advertising, toys, video games and pop culture. Does not advertising influence society. And it is a vicious cycle that feeds upon itself. And the problem with guns and firearms is that if you have one, you use it to take someones life. Guns and the invention of gunpowder from that Dr. Alfred Nobel Peace Prize guy are the worst invention of a death industry ever. Where is the world headed. Is another world possible free from guns and gun violence. Is that a utopian thought as someone commented in the preceding post. And I am one blogger, one voice. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Change

A change has come. And it is a change we can believe in. And those are the words that seems to be the motto of the day being that the McCain Obama elections in that country of America have come to pass. And the only thing constant is change. And on this day it seems to be Veterans Day in that country in America. Another patriotic holiday where guns and the people who use them are glorified. And yet the issue of gun control is nowhere to be found in this campaign. It all seems to be about the economy and uncle scam, I mean sam going broke and the New York Wall Street stock market exchange going out of business and having an everything must go sale. And yet headlines of gun violence like Fears of a Dem Crackdown lead to boom in gun sales and Large funeral expected for man allegedly shot by 8 year old son are appearing and still appearing on a daily basis with no end in sight. And yet another person has lost their life to gun violence for no reason at all except for the fact that guns and gun powder have been invented. And I could repost this blog entry over and over in my appeal to end gun violence, to banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth. To banish guns from every form of marketing and advertising. It is a vicious cycle of some sort of beast that feeds upon itself, crime feeds the media, which feeds more advertising, which feeds more violence. Does not advertising influence society. Guns are the worst invention of a death industry ever. And yet there are still gun shops and firearm dealers to be found in every state of America. A state of guns, firearms and weapons. Is this all the dark iron age of Kali Yuga descending. That yoga, Hindu, Buddhist symbol of the 21st century. And Kali Yuga is an age of struggle, strife, ignorance, vice and devices, sin, moral decline, disintegration and decay. What would Nebuchadnezzar's Dream have to say about this, some dream of a czar, zar. Is this all 2012 on track. It is not the stone age anymore. Is another world possible. And I am one blogger, one voice. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Honor The Veterans Again?

And Veterans Day must be approaching again sometime soon in the next few days. I know because this Veterans Day Sale ad in this newspaper I have here besides me and a lot of other advertisements says so. And I remember blahging about this holiday last year on this blog. So much that I can almost just post that same blog post again:

I thought I heard someone say yesterday that today or tomorrow is Veterans Day, another one of those patriotic holidays where the flag wavers come out in force. Let me check the calendar to see. Oh yeah, the calendar says Veterans day is today. Is this day observed in America only, or is this day observed in the rest of the world also? And so I find myself reposting a posting I posted several months ago for Memorial day, another one of those patriot holidays where the American flag wavers come out in force. Veterans account for a majority of the homeless mentally ill population these days, and a majority of them are disabled now as a result. For what reason is this an honor to support? I consider myself antipsychiatricky and do not believe mental illness exists and that psychiatry kills and originates from Nazi Germany where psych cia trists were mass murderers in white coats as is the case today, and that the mental death system is also an extension of Orwellianism, where family members turn in family members, and neighbors turn in neighbors to the thought police for thought crimes. Psychiatry and psych trickery is an art and not a science. And so I would like to think of mental illness as problems in living. And I believe in the abolishment of forced psych cia trick treatment that is often cruel and inhumane. Therapy? The rap y? Y the rap? Therapist, The rapist. Mind Freedom is a great website to read for all things alternative to the mental death system. And so today is Memorial Day in America. I mean Veterans day in America. A celebration of the war day. Another one of those patriotic holidays. The flag wavers are out and yellow ribbons, badges of honor, medals, parades, marches, prayers, patriotic songs, tributes and ceremonies are being broadcast everywhere. The headlines read "Honor the dead soldiers, honor the fallen soldiers and comrades". Today is the ultimate patriotic fanatic holiday, or the ultimate hate hour as George Orwell might say. My question of the day; for what reason is it an honor to volunteer to be fodder for the canon. For what reason is it an honor to die for nothing, to fight for reasons that do not exist, to fight against the flesh for powers that be that one cannot even see. For what reason is it an honor to be so poor that one will volunteer their life in exchange for money after one leaves the service, if one leaves the service. For what reason is it an honor for persons to be brainwashed with propaganda, theirs or mine. For what reason is it an honor to become a violent person and pick up a gun and kill another person for no reason at all, except for the fact that guns have been invented, the worst invention of an industry ever. For what reason is it an honor to be a veteran who now make up the majority of the homeless population. For what reason is it an honor to attend one of those military sponsored funerals and cry over the image of a flag that propagates violence, the same flag that caused ones death. For what reason is it an honor to fall and die for nothing. For what reason is it an honor to promote this ideology. What is heroic about all of this? And why does the word "Patriot" have the letters "Riot" and "Traitor" in it? And why does the word "Military" militant militia have the word "Mal" in it? "Parens Patriae, father of the people", the guardian. That phrase seems to be the basis of an endless amount of death and suffering in the world; the protection of property or other material things. I saw Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary. It is nineteen eighty four and Orwellianism is everywhere at its best today. Is it written somewhere that this must all come to pass? Happy beach bar b queing Memorial day, I mean Veterans day. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Kmart

"Kmart is your savings place". Isn't that some sort of jingle from years ago that comes to mind when I think of Kmart and its red K sign for ones pleasant family shopping experience. And I remember that department store from what seems like decades ago. And Kmart is the only national discount department store that offers layaway. And I have always thought of Kmart as these really big shopping stores where one can find just about anything at great low prices. And Kmart's got a Kmart Lay-Away Program. I didn't know that. You can enter your zip code in the search box at their website to see if the Layaway option is in your area. I should keep that in mind the next time I go there and find myself short in change. And as I remember, those Layaway programs have always been great over the years when one is short on cash to buy that item that one is looking to buy. And with the Christmas season soon approaching, one can reserve their gift item or large purchase early and pay over time just in time before Christmas with Kmart's layaway program. And that Christmas tree that is in the photo above can make a great gift of holiday decor as your holiday centerpiece, and it can also be easy to pay for with a Kmart layaway just in time for this holiday season. And be sure to check out their "Mr. Blue Light" specials while you are there also, as Kmart can be your one stop destination for all things Christmas this season. Happy Holidays.

Twitter

And so somehow in my blogaholicness and my attempt to blah blog my way to riches, I somehow discovered this new website where one can seemingly Twitter their way to riches. You know Twitter, that recent Internet phenomenon that seemingly every other person is using in this web 2.0 user generated content Internet world to tell the world what they are doing. Or at least to tell the internet world what you are doing. And so I found myself signing up for Twittad yesterday in hopes of being able to quit those ten full time jobs that I find myself working at sometimes. And Twittad is this website that lets you place advertising on your Twitter page. Now that's cool or interesting, or whichever way one may see it and yet even more internet ways to internet your way to dollars to be found in the internetosphere. And whether one can actually quit their day job, who knows. And then there is Magpie or be a Magpie, another Twitter your way to dollars website that I ran across as well yesterday. Magpie is an ad network for Twitter and they can turn your tweets into bling bling, and that is interesting. Have a great Twittering day.

The Dow Jones

Hey bloggers, it is a new day today, and as I find myself browsing this thing called the internet on this day, the day after that historic day the other day of those elections. I find myself coming across a headline that reads Dow off 443 as slump deepins. With content that mentions "Stocks plunged again today, and the Dow Jones industrials suffered their worst two-day point loss ever." Will everyone be in the soup line now. Can everyone squat the world and have housing for free now, a basic necessity of human life. And this article seems to appear the day after that historical Presidential election that took place in America that is bringing subjects into the headlines such as "Socialism", "Jim Crow", "Slavery", "Diversity", "Marxism" and other terms that America is not used to hearing. And it is a new day today. And according to, was it New York Metro yesterday, the word of the day was "Free", as in freedom. And who is Dow Jones anyway. Is that some man whose last names is Jones. And I am still wondering, where is the issue of gun control in these elections. Is it possible to banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth. Guns are the worst invention ever. And someone left a comment on this blog the other day that read "It is amazing how easily duped the sheeple of this world are. Keep them stupid and enslaved to money and they are easily herded to the slaughter". And what does that mean. Is another world possible. Hope and change as it has been said in the news lately. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

A Day In History

And with those presidential elections that happened yesterday, this day must be some sort of historical day in history not known since the beginning of time in America and as old as America itself with the election of a president yesterday. And so I found myself wandering around in search of a newspaper for one of those collectors editions on this what is being called a historic day in the presidential elections, and those newspapers were all sold out by 8am this morning and nowhere to be found. And the only thing left in their place were "Sold Out" signs. And I must have encountered about four other people who were on one of those same in search of a newspaper for a collectors item of those presidential elections yesterday as I was. And after about the tenth store, I gave up in search of that presidential collectors edition of a newly elected president of America. And this election is bringing terms into the news like "Jim Crow". And who or what is a Jim Crow and a Jim Crow Law. And that can be a whole another blog posting. And today's edition of the New York Metro Newspaper, that free newspaper that I happen to get a copy of today, says the word of the day is: Free: adjective 1. enjoying personal rights of liberty, as a person who is not in slavery: a land of free people. 2. existing under, characterized by, or possessing civil and political liberties that are, as a rule, constitutionally guaranteed by representative government: the free nations of the world. And not since memory, have I heard and seen the sounds and cries of joy in the streets as I have heard last night. Have a great election day after.

On This Day

And on this day is that all too historical day where everyone goes to the polls to vote for change, some sort of change. And who knows if it will be for better or for worse. And yet still the issue of gun control is no where to be found on a candidates platform, maybe. And yet another person has lost there life to senseless gun violence this past Halloween weekend for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. And because guns are the worst inventions ever, Yahoo and CNN headlines with atrocious titles like "Shooter Feared Trick or Treater Was Robber" and "Trick or Treater shot to death" have appeared in the news this past Halloween weekend. And what would that National Rifle Association or anyone who defends the right to bear arms to protect ones home have to say abut this. As if property is worth more than human life. If only housing could be free for everyone. Whose right is it to say that the land is for sale anyway, shelter, a basic necessity of human life. And the list of atrocious headlines of people who are losing their lives to gun violence on a daily basis with no end in sight are to innumerable for me to mention in one blog post. And guns are the worst invention ever. If only guns can be abolished from every person on the face of planet earth and from every form of advertising and pop culture. Does not advertising influence society. Where is the world headed. What was life like before the invention of guns. Is another world possible. And what, if anything does this have to do with a No Police State. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.
