Boston

Hey again bloggers or whoever could be reading this blagh. And so I came across this video the other day that has to do with The Boston Marathon Bombings, an incident that has befallen that city of Boston in that country of America that seems to be somewhere along the lines of 9/11 that may not have been seen since the days of 9/11. And this incident that has consumed the past weeks headline news happened on Patriots Day and seems to have something to do with terrorism that resulted in many articles, amongst one of them titled American democracy in shambles. And so that video image brings to mind that No Police State song whose lyrics go something like:

The place was martiallawville two thousand and one
and everywhere I looked I saw people with guns
standing on the corner in uniforms
full of torture devices for if you stray from the norm
they'll stop you over here and they'll stop you over there
they'll stop you anywhere and they won't even care
as they shake you down and throw you on the ground
put their foot on you and then kick you around
they'll punch you and they'll beat you till you're almost dead
I couldn't take it no more and so I said
No Police State. yeah, that's right, no policy state.
I screamed No Police State. No Police State.

And so, I left the street and then I went to the store
but as I walked through the metal detector
I could not get through because this man at the door
in a uniform called security
with a criminal record worser than you and me
he took my bags and my belongings too
and he said the words we are surveilling you
with plain clothes spies and close circuit cameras
inspection devices and ten way mirrors
and so I started shopping from aisle to aisle
but I could hear them all the while
they murmured, they whispered and then they said
come with us your time is at hand
to be mocked, scourged, tried, tempted and afflicted
and crucified and persecuted in this wilderness
I said to them deliver me I did not do a thing
they said I did and that was it and so I screamed
No Police State. yeah, that's right, no policy state
I screamed No Police State. No Police State.

And so, I went home and I felt secure
until the evil knocked at my door
it was a legion of men it was an army
and they called themselves the authority
who were concerned for my safety
so they said to me can they see some ID
to use against you as you will see
our king he owns the land and he even owns you
so this is what we're gonna do
they trashed my place, they tore it upside down
they took everything and then they threw it around
then they wanted to put me under their care
cause it looked like I could not take care of my affairs
so I took no further thought for what I was gonna say
cause they were gonna search and seize me anyway
and so I screamed, No Police State yeah that's right, no policy state
I screamed No Police State. No Police State.

Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Robot Nation Again

And so I saw someone post this post on facebook that went something like:

"Last night my friend went to the ladies room at the theater and while I waited, 6 or 7 people were waiting outside with me. Some standing, some sitting, like me. I wanted to strike up a conversation about the movie we all had just seen. "What did you think about so and so?" "How about that scene?" "That guy really can act!" You know, basic human conversation. But I couldn't. Every single person was staring down at their stupid phone. Every. Single. One. "

And so that post reminded of this post that was posted on this blog some time a while ago.

Hey Bloggers, and today in America at least, is it the world also? This day seems to be finish giving ones social security mark of the beast 666 number tax day where one gives unto Caesar what is Ceasers. And who is Ceaser anyway? And for what reason does the word Caeser sound like CZAR. and in other thoughts, what's up with technology these days. Is this the result? I was sitting on that MTA subway train the other day going my way listening to their prerecorded terrorize the riders with those "If you see something say something" messages and I noticed that practically everyone on the train has a wire hanging out of their ears with some sort of walkman like, I guess iPod like device, listening to or watching something on the other end. And those who were not attached to wires were staring at or fidgeting with cell phones of some sort. And this all seemed like some sort of scene out of a science fiction movie to me as I seem stuck in the stone age of technology or something. And then there are those people who are walking around town with mini, tiny cell phones attached to their ears. Hugh? And then there are those almost non stop telemarketer phone calls that one seems to get all day long and night with what seemingly seems like every sales pitch under the son that man can think of. And those telemarketer calls seem to be automated and voice activated these days with prerecorded messages pitching some sort of product with some sort of persons prerecorded voice in every single emotion that one can think of. And these prerecorded voices even seem to speak to answering machines, and can even fill up an answering machine if one is not careful to empty those messages on that answering machine in time. How long have I been stuck in the technology stone age? What has technology done to humanity. Is this the result, a robot nation? Have a great technology day.

An Occupy Art Show

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blagh. And there was an Occupy Art Show in that city and state of Newark, New Jersey last night. And I know there was an Occupy Art Show in Newark last night because that video that finds itself posted above says so. And Newark happens to be that city that finds itself next to Jersey City that finds itself next to Hoboken, New Jersey that also finds itself next to that great city of Babylon, also known as New York City, with a bunch of other cities in between. And if I must blogger say, it was great to meet Leonard Abrams, publisher of The East Village Eye at this event also and then to read his story on E.V. Grieve. And in case you haven't heard, on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 568. And Occupy Wall Street and those global revolutions of a movements Occupy Together are still moving fast. And this Occupy Art event found itself Occupy Wall Street interesting. Occupy Art Worldwide.
