East Village Zine Fair 2023

The 8 Ball Community, Printed Matter St Marks, East Village Zine Fair happened indoors at PS 122 Community Center this past weekend after being postponed from a rain date outdoors on St Marks Place in that city of New York in that neighborhood of the Lower East Side, now called the East Village for real estate marketing purposes maybe. 

And I had a great time vending #blacklivesmatter #nopolicestate #occupywallstreet #sh*tjustgotreal #washingtonsquarepark #unionsquarepark #morus #theshadow #yoga #music #brooklyn #eastvillage #lowereastside & #iloveny necklaces, magnets, key chains & pins $2 each & Tompkins Square Park t shirts for $10 each outside on the sidewalk next to Chris Flash of Shows in Tompkins Square Park, The Shadow Newspaper and indoors with Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space - MORUS at East Village Zine Fair at 8Ball Community Printed Matter Zine Fair/ St. Marks this past weekend.

And with over 70 exhibitors at this zine fair, if I were to copy and paste part of Printed Matter's website description of this event, (because hey, it's less writing sometimes....) it would read something like:

"Printed Matter / St Marks and 8-Ball Community are excited to welcome you to the third annual East Village Zine Fair, a celebration of NYC’s zine-makers, independent publishers, and the East Village’s history of DIY culture past and present.

Though originally planned for June 24, due to rainy weather the EVZF will now take place Saturday, July 8th AND Sunday, July 9th at Performance Space New York, 150 First Ave.

Saturday, July 8th 11AM - 7PM (11AM - 1PM are mask mandatory hours, register here*) 

Sunday, July 9th 11AM - 5PM 

For our new venue, we cannot imagine a better alternative than Performance Space New York, a fellow arts non-profit in the heart of the East Village. We are so grateful for their support and generosity in hosting the EVZF this year 📚🎱

 *Saturday will begin with two mask-mandatory hours and a reduced visitor capacity to ensure that those who are immunocompromised and/or disabled have a chance to browse the Fair. To ensure entry during this time, register via the link above or through tinyurl.com/EVZFMASK. 

For the rest of the Fair masks will be available and highly encouraged. 

We’re so excited to welcome everyone to the fair, and since we are not outside on St Marks Pl this year, we Are working with a much more limited visitor capacity. As such, we encourage you to arrive early and be prepared for potential wait times to enter the fair. Once inside, we are asking that guests try to keep their visit limited to 2 hours so that as many people as possible get to experience the EVZF.

Another one of those Halloween In Tompkins Square Park Days here on planet earth in that city of New York has rolled around again this year, and it was also a Guardians of Divinity VIDEO: Anti-vax protesters chant ‘F–k Joe Biden’ during massive Halloween parade and death of covid day this year that reads  "10/31/22: The death of covid presented at the Village Halloween Parade in NYC.  Covid enforcers, UN troops, CEO of Pfizer and the Mayuh of New York" as well, as China, the United Nations and the demonic World Health Organization are still implementing the new world order, great reset, police state, martial law, plannedemic, Agenda 2030,  social credit score and QR Code antichrist mark of the beast system in the name of a virus, and Russia and China, Gog and Magog, seems as if it wants to start world war three, the 6th trumpet war and nuke the world, in the midst of a bunch of other end of the world headline news of the day. We are living in the fig tree generation and this generation shall not pass til all things be fulfilled. Stop 5g and end the evil Chinese Communist Party.

Hey again Bloggers or whoever could be reading this blagh.  And in the midst of battling Murphy's Law, this blog post is yet another attempt to maintain web 2.0 user generated content for this blog and my other blagh whenever bloggers block possible.

And this blagh seems to have turned into a travel blog lately, to where I find myself posting travel photos on it, because hey, I don't know where else to post those photos except Facebook or Instagram.

And so it was Atlantic City this time where I attempted to vend those Black Lives Matter necklaces, magnets, key chains and pins for $2 each on the Atlantic City Boardwalk as in those photos and videos that find themselves posted above. And thank you Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City for that ice cold water.

And then there was the 34th Anniversary Tompkins Square Park Riot Reunion Concert 

And again, a concert in which I didn't actually make it to as a result of battling Murphy's Law.

And in case whoever could be reading this blog is actually interested.......

One version of Murphy's Law states:

Murphy's general laws

• Nothing is as easy as it looks.
• Everything takes longer than you think.
• Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
• If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. ...
• If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway.

And Murphy's Law has something to do with whatever can go wrong will go wrong.

And so back to that 34th Annual Tompkins Square Park Riot Reunion Concert that passed last weekend, a show put on by Chris Flash of The Shadow, August 6th and August 7th in Tompkins Square Park in that city of New York.

It was also an East Ghost Reports attempt to vend those Tompkins Square Park t - shirts Saturday in Tompkins Square Park. Anniversary of the 1988 riot after someone attempts to carve up your table with a knife, with a couple of photos that find themselves posted above.
