The Deli Magazine

The The Deli Magazine will have an All Day Deli Show during the Dumbo Art Under The Bridge Festival this weekend. I know because their email that they sent says so. And I have been an avid reader every so often of that Deli Magazine and its indie rock, folk scene and more when it comes to being all music all the time. You can read their NYC Top 20 with bands like Vampire Weekend, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, The Strokes, Brazilian Girls, LCD Soundsystem, Animal Collective, Interpol, The National, We Are Scientists and more. And then you can read about that CMJ 08 Music Marathon and Film Festival that is coming up in October with performances by Broken Social Scene, Deerhoof, Talib Kweli, Kid Sister and hundreds more. And that Deli Magazine usually writes about the coolest bands that play at the coolest places around that City of New York like Cake Shop, Crash Mansion, Knitting Factory, Lit Lounge, Niagara Bar, Sputnik, Union Hall, Annex, Goodbye Blue Monday, Trash Bar, Pete's Candy Store, Bowery Ballroom, Bowery Poetry Club, Mercury Lounge, Rehab, Stain, Sidewalk Cafe, Union Pool, Arlene's Grocery, The Shrine, Rockwood Music Hall and just about every other place to be found in New York City where there's music to be heard. And they have just about what seems like over a zillion of every hand picked artist listed on their website from indie rock, post rock, experimental, loud rock, folk songwriters, mellow indie, lo fi, indie pop, psych rock, electronic, and almost any other music category one can think of. And so that email that Paolo sent on this day reads something like as follows:
