My brother is always teasing me about how addicted I am to technology. I hate to admit that was kind of right because I always have the best TV, the newest tablet, and my cell phone is second to none. You know when you see pictures of people standing in line outside the Apple Store? That's like what I do. I went out in the middle of nowhere and was going through some serious Internet withdrawal until he told me about Hughesnet Internet which it turns out I get access to even all the way up here at my house. It's been really great finally having Internet at home with you because I usually spent 2 to 3 hours a day when I was at work just catching up on things I needed to do online like paying bills and e-mailing friends and family. My productivity had gone way down so this is a really good solution for me and for my boss! I can always count on my brother to have the solution.

An Occupy Hoboken Art Show

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And today finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 129. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast. And there will be an Occupy Hoboken Art Show to be found in that city of Hoboken that is to be found in that state of New Jersey that is to be found across the river from that city of New York, January 30th - March 17th. And I know that there will be an Occupy Hoboken Art Show in that city of Hoboken because this Occupy Hoboken Art Show Facebook event invite and all of those artworks that I am trying to make for this Occupy Hoboken Art Show and also that flyer that finds itself posted above says so, I think. Now I'm not exactly sure what this SOPA, Stop Online Piracy Act thing is all about, though this Sopa Strike thing sure finds itself in the headline news a lot lately and also finds itself posted in that photo above that has something do with censorship of the internet. And that newspaper headline reads something like "Web Goes On Strike! January 18th, 2012 is the largest online protest in history, to stop the internet censorship bills that seem to have something to do with taking away those websites online that someone does not like or agree with that calls itself SOPA and PIPA. Join by blacking out your site and urging everyone you can reach to contact congress now. And what if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

And somehow I came across that photo of the Buddha that finds itself posted above throughout my internet travels on this day. And that buddha seems to be a cool looking spiritual, yoga, nirvana image indeed, or something like that. And that caption that came with that photo described itself as "The Tiantan Buddha on Lantau Island is the largest seated bronze Buddha in the world. Freedom of religion is one of the basic rights enjoyed by the people of Hong Kong, protected by the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and related laws." And that photo above seems to Buddha, buddhism, hindu, meditation, peace, ohm shanti, Siddhārtha Gautama speak for itself. Have a great buddha and more day.

And if I must blogger say on this blogging day, the topic of banks sure has been in the news a lot lately these days and times when it comes to money, money and more money, with Wall Street being occupied and the economy seeming as if it wants to have one of those everything must go going out of business sales. A Symbol

And somehow I came across this posting about swastikas throughout my internet travels in facebookland on this day. And I think that some people aren't aware that the swastika originates from a Hindu symbol, the Fylfot Cross. And the swastika is simply the Hindu, Himalayan and Brhamanist symbol for the wheel of life. the Nazis turned it around. The swastika can have many different meanings (the sun, the four directions, changes in the seasons, peace, and others, including Native American, Hindu, Buddhist, Celtic and Pagan traditions. And so I thought to post some of what that Symbol Dictionary website says in my attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. The swastika is an archetypal, universal human religious symbol. It appears on every continent and is as old as humankind. A marker of the sun’s travels, it can be seen on Pictish rock carvings, adorning ancient Greek pottery, and on ancient Norse weapons and implements. It was scratched onto cave walls in France seven thousand years ago. A swastika marks the beginning of many Buddhist scriptures, and is often incised on the soles of the feet of the Buddha in statuary. In the Jain religion, the swastika is a symbol of the seventh Jina (Saint), the Tirthankara Suparsva. To Native Americans, the swastika is a symbol of the sun, the four directions, and the four seasons.

Geometrically, the swastika is a type of solar cross, with arms bent at right angles, suggesting a whirling or turning motion. Long before the symbol was co-opted as an emblem of Hitler’s Nazi party, it was a sacred symbol to Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist religions, as well as in Norse, Basque, Baltic, and Celtic Paganism. The name Swastika is derived from the Sanskrit language, from “su,” meaning “good,” and “vasti”,” meaning “being” (together; well being) In India, it is used as a fertility and good luck charm. The right turning Indian swastika symbolizes the sun and positive energy, and is most commonly associated with the deity Ganesh, a God of prosperity and wealth. Some Indians regard an anti-clockwise swastika as an opposing, dark force- a symbol of the godess Kali. Together, the two can be regarded as symbolically similar to the Yin Yang symbol of Taoism, or the two Pillars of Kabbalah. The swastika is also known for its uses in heraldry as the tetraskelion- the fylfot cross (fylfot meaning ‘four feet,’ a term used in european heraldry), the cross gammadion (because it resembles four greek letter ‘gammas.’), and the hakenkreutz (German, hooked cross).

The swastika used in Buddhist art and scripture is known as a Manji, and represents Dharma, universal harmony, and the balance of opposites. When facing left, it is the Omote (front) Manji, representing love and mercy. Facing right, it represents strength and intelligence, and is called the Ura (rear facing) Omoje. In pre-Christian Pagan Europe, the swastika was generally a solar symbol, but in many cases, its use dates so far back in history that its original meaning is obscured. The year of 2012 has arrived and if you ask a Mayan, it's 2012AD or that 13.0.0.0.0 baktun thing, a doomsday end of the world long countdown for the Maya 2012 calendar that started on Winter Solstice December 21st. And it's also the year of the dragon that will arrive on February 4, 2012 according to that Chinese Zodiac, Horoscope. And the year of the dragon reads something like, "According to Chinese Five Element Astrology Calendar, 2012 is the year of water dragon. The color of Water in Five Elements system is related to Black. Therefore we can say 2012 is a Black Dragon, Water Dragon or Black Water Dragon year. Dragon is a legendary animal and it is symbol of emperor in China. Since the Dragon is coated with mysterious color, Chinese consider that the dragon is unpredictable, untouchable and people cannot see its head and tail at the same time. Therefore, we can might see something unexpected happening in 2012. Diabetes Again

And so I thought to post this post about diabetes that found itself on this blog some time a while ago in random blogger thoughts on this blogging day...

Why does the word "Diabetes" sound like the word "Diablo", which means Devil in Spanish? Is there some sort of link between the two words. For what reason does diabetes top the list of diseases in poor neighborhoods? Is diabetes a poor people disease and for what reason. I was walking through a poor neighborhood the other day, and every other sign on health facilities had the word diabetes in it. Is diabetes an evil disease of the Devil designed to kill off the poor or is it a disease affecting the population as a whole and knows no class boundary. And who are the poor, for the poor we will have always with us. And who is the Devil in this case, the food industry or someone or something else. Is diabetes a fight against the devil and a battle between good and evil. I can only think poor people are more susceptible to diabetes simply because they are more likely to eat junk food, mainly soda pops which are laced with sugar, white processed sugar and other sugary unhealthy foods, or maybe poor people are less aware or concerned with diet and nutrition or simply just cannot afford to eat healthy. And what's up with all of those buy and use our diabetes products that we advertise and market for your sugar insulin type 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,800 and 9000 diabetes that we create so that we can have money, money and more money for the war on the poor industry products that are on the prick yourself, shoot yourself up with diabetes needles and use this cool trendy latest diabetes gadget market these days. What is the meaning of this probably recent phenomenon and what if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

Relocating In Michigan

We recently relocated to Grand Rapids. My husband got a job promotion that was pretty big and we decided that it would be best for our family to make the movie. We ended up buying a cute house that was built in the 1940s. It had been updated, so there was not too much too much that we needed to do. Of course, I had the house painted to our taste and have also been working with a decorator to get some curtains made for the house. The house has some really unique windows that require custom made treatments. We already found a great lawn service and the yard is looking top notch. I have never had a green thumb and definitely rely on others to take care of the yard. The only thing that is left for me to do is to look into Grand Rapids wireless internet providers. Not having the internet for the last three weeks has been killing me! I guess that I am getting all of the unpacking done that I wouldn’t be doing if I had the internet at the house.

And so on this day I find myself posting Nedslist, one of those weekly email newsletters, for the sake of attempting to maintain content for this blog whenever blaghers block possible. And this is an excerpt from one of those emails that found itself in my inbox a while ago. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State.

Occupy the Hood: Communities of color and the Occupy movement

Many people in black, brown, red and yellow communities across the U.S. know the feeling of being occupied.

Some have compared it to a state of siege. We know what it is to be beleaguered. We experience our land being occupied; we view police as an occupying force; we live daily with the experience of being stopped and frisked, of our cars being pulled over, of the War on Drugs essentially being a war on us; and we are certainly the majority occupants of jail and prison cells.

As such, it is important to examine the current status of the Occupy Movement in relationship to the participation of people of color and its ability to address our issues. Depending on the location, there has been limited success, racial tension, and/or open criticism as well as concerted efforts to be inclusive.

I would like to raise some of the issues here, cite those raised by others, and look at some of the evolving solutions.

Black cultural theorist and writer Greg Tate recently wrote Top 10 Reasons Why So Few Black Folk Appear Down To Occupy Wall Street in the Village Voice in his inimitable style and evoked a twitterstorm of responses. Though he writes with snark and sharp black humor, his last four points on the list are worth considering:

8. THE NIGGAS ARE SCARED OR BORED OF REVOLUTION THEORY Say whut? Since when? When it comes to showing radical heart, we damn sure got nothing to prove. Protest history shows our folk couldn't be turned around by deputized terrorists armed with dynamite, firebombs, C4, tanks, AKs, machine guns, fixed bayonets, billy clubs, K-9 corps, truncheons, or water hoses. Stop-and-frisk has prepped most brothers to anticipate a cell block visit just for being Slewfoot While Black. We ain't never been skeered of fighting the good fight. We love a good dust-up on pay-per-view or in the street just on GP! Out there on the street, though, all we need is to feel like you got our backs like we got yours. Herein might lie the rub. People fresh to daily struggle may need to earn our trust more. Clearly we're in no hurry to make loads of new friends spanking new to police brutality. 7. THE OWS BEST GO GET A LATE-PASS THEORY The sudden realization by OWS-ers that American elites never signed the social contract and will sell the people out for a fat cat's dime—hey, no news flash over here. Black folk got wise to the game back in 1865 when we realized neither 40 acres nor a mule would be forthcoming. Also, as one sharp strapping ready for whatever you got youngblood recently put it, "I ain't about to go get arrested with some muhfuhkuhs who just figured out yesterday that this shit ain't right."
REASONS WHY WE SHOULD RECONSIDER BEFRIENDING NU PEOPLE VIRGIN TO DAILY NYPD ASSWHUPPINGS Repeatedly finding oneself on the business end of a NYPD nightstick and expecting the same result is either a sign of madness or a sign of virtual blacknuss. Either way, even your most hardened Pan-Afrikanist should now be open to giving the OWS-ers a hug of solidarity. Maybe if organized, this form of outreach could function as the larger community's first olive branch. (Air kisses and arms length for some snooty African noses still, I know).
6. THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX CRICKETS THEORY The predominant age range of OWS's paler male participants is roughly 18-29. This age group among African American cats accounts for 40 percent of the country's prison population—a national crisis which predates the bailout by several decades. This disgraceful disparity could likely continue after every OWS-er has been gainfully reabsorbed into the American workforce. Although Wall Street profits from our brothers' massive enslavement by incarceration, so does Main Street. Perhaps OWS should ponder putting prison abolition on their unformulated list of demands. Until then, some black progressives, though duly sympathetic, might not hear a roar coming from Zuccotti but simply crickets.

All humor aside, the crisis of the stop-and-frisk occupation in New York is not funny if you are one of the daily victims. Look at these data from the New York Civil Liberties Union:

Stop and Frisk Practices The NYPD’s stop-and-frisk practices raise serious concerns over racial profiling, illegal stops and privacy rights. The Department’s own reports on its stop-and-frisk activity confirm what many people in communities of color across the city have long known: The police are stopping hundreds of thousands of law abiding New Yorkers every year, and the vast majority are black and Latino.
An analysis by the NYCLU revealed that about 3 million innocent New Yorkers were subjected to police stops and street interrogations from 2004 through 2010, and that black and Latino communities continue to be the overwhelming target of these tactics. Nearly nine out of 10 stopped-and-frisked New Yorkers have been completely innocent, according to the NYPD’s own reports:
In 2004, 315,483 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
279,754 were totally innocent (89 percent)
156,056 were black (50 percent)
90,468 were Latino (29 percent)
29,000 were white (9 percent)
In 2005, 399,043 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
351, 842 were totally innocent (88 percent)
196,977 were black (49 percent)
115, 395 were Latino (29 percent)
40,837 were white (10 percent)
In 2006, 508,540 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
458,104 were totally innocent (90 percent)
268,610 were black (53 percent)
148,364 were Latino (29 percent)
53,793 were white (11 percent)
In 2007, 468,732 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
407,923 were totally innocent (87 percent)
242,373 were black (52 percent)
142,903 were Latino (31 percent)
52,715 were white (11 percent)
In 2008, 531,159 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
465,413 were totally innocent (88 percent)
271,602 were black (51 percent)
167,111 were Latino (32 percent)
57,407 were white (11 percent)
In 2009, 575,304 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
504,594 were totally innocent (88 percent)
308,941 were black (54 percent)
179,576 were Latino (31 percent)
53,466 were white (9 percent)
In 2010, 601,055 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
517,458 were totally innocent (86 percent)
317,642 were black (53 percent)
190,491 were Latino (32 percent)
55,083 were white (9 percent)
During the first six months of 2011, 362,150 New Yorkers were stopped by the police.
317,376 were totally innocent (88 percent)
184,186 were black (51 percent)
119,853 were Latino (33 percent)
33,805 were white (9 percent)

The prison industrial complex is also one of the key issues undermining the stability of communities of color, and we are more likely to be focused on Attica or San Quentin than Wall Street, unless the linkages are made. Occupiers must pay attention to occupants.
The Sentencing Project details the status of this segment of the 99 percent:

Nationally, an estimated 5.3 million Americans are denied the right to vote because of laws that prohibit voting by people with felony convictions. Felony disenfranchisement is an obstacle to participation in democratic life which is exacerbated by racial disparities in the criminal justice system, resulting in an estimated 13% of Black men unable to vote. More than 60% of the people in prison are now racial and ethnic minorities. For Black males in their twenties, 1 in every 8 is in prison or jail on any given day. These trends have been intensified by the disproportionate impact of the "war on drugs," in which three-fourths of all persons in prison for drug offenses are people of color.

Rarely noted is the disproportionate incarceration of Native Americans:

There are approximately 26,000 Native Americans in US jails and prisons who have been sent there at a rate 38 percent higher than the general population. However, if Blacks, who constitute about half of all prisoners are excluded from the calculation, it is clear that this disproportion is far more egregious, when compared to non-Black ethnicities. In Alaska, for instance, if Natives do not already form a plurality in prison, they soon will, as Native incarceration rates are rising rapidly while white and Hispanic rates have remained relatively flat, and the incarceration of Black people has actually dropped in recent years. Natives are only 16 percent of the general population in that state, though they make up 40 percent of adult inmates. Between 1996 and 2000 in Alaska, the total of incarcerated white males rose just 6 percent, while the total number of Native males rose 23 percent. White female totals went up by 26 percent, but Native female inmates skyrocketed by 41 percent in just those four years. An examination of state-by-state totals shows remarkable disproportion in ethnic representation. In Arizona, where many reservations are policed by tribal authorities and hearings held in tribal courts, the rate of Indian incarceration appears not significantly higher than non-Natives. In other states, however, such is clearly not the case. In South Dakota, where 10 percent of the state population is Indian, male and female Natives make up 23 percent and 35 percent respectively, of all inmates. In Wyoming, Indians make up 2 percent of the state population but 7 percent of prisoners. In Montana, though only 6.8 percent of residents are Native, they are 18.8 percent of men and 29.6 percent of women prisoners. Still more worrisome is the fact that in the last decade, the general prison population there less than doubled, but total numbers of Indian women went up from 17 to 81, an increase of 376 percent.

Many of us who come from assorted "hoods" are in lock-up, and will never make it down to an Occupy protest location. Or we may be stopped, frisked asked for papers and incarcerated on the way.
These crucial civil and human rights issues were raised at the Occupy Wall Street General Assembly in New York, and out of that, Occupy Harlem protests were born. It is not a coincidence that those protests targeted "stop and frisk" and police brutality.
Occupy Harlem: 'Occupy Wall Street Is Not A White Thing' The Occupy Wall Street movement went Uptown on Friday night, as more than 100 people filled the second-floor sanctuary at St. Philip's Church in Harlem for the first general meeting of Occupy Harlem. Unlike their downtown comrades, those in attendance were mostly black and Latino, save for a handful of whites who sat and listened intently, a few lifting their fists to shouts of "Power to the People."
This was a group of veteran activists and young turks alike, inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement. And it was a moment decades in the making for veteran Harlem activists, like Nellie Hester Bailey, who have fought and protested and rallied for fair wages, tenants' rights and against police brutality here for years.
"Occupy Wall Street is not a quote-unquote white thing. It is a white thing that the 1 percent and the bankers are representing white oligarchy and white plutocrats for the most part," Bailey said. "But this is an organic movement from the bottom up. Now we have to take advantage, seize the time and the moment ... and it is time that we become part of this landscape so we can begin to highlight our issues."

Is Another World Possible Again

And so here goes another one of those recycle this blog posts that found itself on this blog some time a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever blaghers block possible. And even though the times and dates may have changed, the story still seems to remain the same.

And the headlines are there again. Another person loses their life to gun violence for whatever reason for no reason at all except that guns and gunpowder have been invented. The story has been told in the headlines before and the story will be told again in tomorrows headlines with no end in sight. Gun violence is a global epidemic these days. Is it possible to have a world free of guns. Again, I could cut and paste my other blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth, and to banish the images of guns in every form of advertisement and media campaign on planet earth. Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. If only it was possible to go back in time before guns existed. What was life like before the invention of guns. Were there only sticks and stones. Is this an invention of the beast, whoever or whatever the beast may be. How is it that every other film and movie advertisement in the newspapers and on posters plastered around town has an image of a gun in it. It almost seems as if this type of advertising is required and mandatory these days. How has the morals and values of society declined so far as to where it is now acceptable to use violent imagery and references to violence as a means of promotion. Is this programming programming society. Does this not reflect on and influence society and culture. It seems as if the standards of social behavior are declining everywhere. Is there a worldwide moral breakdown? In the past blatant immorality and decadence has been pointed to as a contributing factor in the fall of civilizations. Where is this social decline pattern coming from? Are the slaughters of wars debasing the value of human life? If politicians and generals can treat millions under their care like animals dispatched to the slaughter, then what canons of religion or ethics can inhibit men from treating each other with the ferocity of jungle beasts. Will the beast, whoever or whatever it may be ever release its grip on mankind. It is not the year 1800 anymore. Will the war ever end. Where can one turn. Where is the world headed. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

And so that's the description that finds itself on that Facebook photos of D17 Re-Occupy Facebook page on this day. And on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 92. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast. And as stated in that photo above, D17 Re-Occupy is happening on this day. And that event describes itself as follows:

2011 Equals 1984

Does 2011 equal 1984 as in the title of this blog post above? Well someone in politics just passed some bill named with a bunch of numbers and letters behind it that has something to do with taking away ones liberty in the name of security, or freedom, or something like that. And so what's that Benjamin Franklin "Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither" quote all about anyway. And so on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 90. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast. And Occupy Wall Street is having a press conference today in that City of New York in response to this National Defense Authorization Act, Sections 1031 and 1032, which will allow the United States government to imprison any person who commits any act they disagree with indefinitly and without trial thing as follows. And what, if anything does this have to do with a No Police State.

Defend the Bill of Rights for All of Us.

On Bill of Rights Day, Thursday, Dec 15 there will be a Press Conference on Federal Court Steps, 40 Centre St., Manhattan, 11am. A coffin of the Bill of Rights will be brought to Federal Court Foley Square, NY, NY

The Bill of rights was ratified 220 years ago, on December 15, 1791. It is shameful that today, in the United States, we are forced to come together in defense of the Bill of Rights and our civil liberties, as the representatives of the 1% who rule this country continue to take our rights away.

Congress is attempting to bury the Bill of Rights. The National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA) includes language proposed by Democratic Sen. Carl Levin and Republican Sen. John McCain that allows for the arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens by the military, on U.S. soil and without the right of trial. This is an egregious violation of our first amendment rights and comes at a time when we are witnessing unprecedented attacks on our civil liberties.

Some of these attacks include:

Massive spying on the Muslim community, including the recent revelations of the spying by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the CIA on mosques, Muslim businesses, and Muslim student groups;

The continuation of the policy of sending agents into mosques with phony plots designed to entrap Muslims for so called “preemptive prosecution”;

The recent raids on homes of antiwar activists by federal agents, who have carted away personal computers, cell phones, books, and other possessions and handed the activists subpoenas to appear before federal grand juries;

The recent, often violent evictions of anti-Wall Street occupations around the country; The refusal of the Chicago city government and the federal government to allow for peaceful protests when NATO and the G8 countries come to Chicago in May, 2012 to hold summit meetings.

The potential impact of the NDAA's provisions to expand military detention without trial could render the other issues we all address seemingly trivial; any activist stands at risk of designation as a potential terrorist, especially if their interests include either foreign policy or enterprises that impact the environment.

On December 15, Bill of Rights Day actions and press conferences are planned in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco and other areas of the country. Several national coalitions -- including the Muslim Peace Coalition, United National Antiwar Coalition, Bill of Rights Defense Committee, the Center for Constitutional Rights, Committee to Stop FBI Repression and others are co-promoting this call to action.

In New York, representatives from civil liberties, religious, social justice, and peace organizations will come together to voice opposition to the National Defense Authorization Act and other recent attacks on our civil liberties. We will discuss our plans to fight for the rights of all people and to defeat this repressive legislation.

They have allowed us to realize that we cannot fix our crises isolated from one another. We need collective action, and we need civic space. We are creating that civic space.

Outdoor public space plays a crucial role in this civic process and encourages open, transparent organizing in our movement, unbeholden to a broken political system. As we saw in Liberty Square, outdoor space invites people to listen, speak, share, learn, and act. It is a source of inspiration and empowerment.

Over the last month we have seen a series of coordinated attacks on occupations across the nation in an attempt to stop the growth of a movement for social and economic justice. Outdoor space is a threat
because it is a visible form of dissent– a visible challenge to the system, visibility that screams liberation.

Psych Trickery Again

And so I guess it seems to be recycle this blog day again today, as this is yet another one of those posts that found itself on this blog a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. Oh, and by the way, these days and times finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 87 of another Occupy Wall Street day.

And I am not sure what this all may mean, but these headlines keep repeating themselves, time after time, day after day. And though the names may change, the story remains the same. Another person takes another ones life because they were on psychiatric drugs. And the latest headlines being "NYPD Rips Taser Cops", an article that is to be found in last weeks NY Daily News. And this article seems as if the polizei are now using taser guns as a license to subdue someone, and the mentally ill to where that person loses their life. And this person was called an emotionally disturbed person, an EDP, or every day people. And I do not believe in mental illness. I think of mental illness as problems in living. Psychiatry is an art and not a science. And I do know that psychiatry kills and that psychiatrists are mass murders in white coats, as psychiatry and the mental health death system were born during Nazi Germany where the mentally ill were the first group killed by the nazis and were required to wear a yellow star badge. And I oppose involuntary psychiatric intervention because it is a violation of an individuals right to control his or her own soul, mind and body. And I oppose forced psychiatric procedures such as drugging, electroshock, psychosurgery, restraints, solitary confinement, and "aversive behaviour modification". And I oppose the psychiatric system because it is inherently tyrannical. And I oppose the psychiatric system because it is an extralegal parallel police force which suppresses cultural dissent. And I oppose that psych trickery for a whole lot of other reasons. And it is my hope that forced psychiatric treatment could be abolished. No one is free while others are oppressed. And I know that common neuroleptic psychiatric drugs such as Thorazine, Haldol, Prolixin, Navane, Mellaril, Stelazine, Compazine, Dartal, Daxolin, Lidone, Loxitane, Moban, Orap, Permitil, Prozac, Proketazine, Quide, Repoise, Serentil, Sparine, Taractan, Tindal, Trilafon, Vesprin and others cause brain damage and tardive dyskinesia. And it is these tranquilizers which cause homicidal and suicidal thoughts in individuals, creating more and more of these "A mental person takes another persons life" headlines. And so I thought to post this blog entry again that I posted from some time a while ago:

And there it is in the headlines in the news again today. The AM New York says it was the fourth shooting at a U.S. school in a week. Another person has lost their life to the latest rampage of the day. It is in the news on a daily basis so much that I am just going to repost a blog entry I posted just a few days ago:

There is was in the headlines again yesterday. A rampage occurred in a different state of America everyday this past week and another person has lost their life to gun violence with no end in sight. And it seems as if I could almost devote this blog to reposting and repeating this blog entry over and over on a daily basis with no end in sight. The following is a blog entry that was posted a few days ago:
There it is in the news again today. Again, I could cut and paste my blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish guns from every human being on the face of planet earth and to end the use of the images of guns in all forms of advertising, marketing, film and television as I have written in blog posts of the past. Does not advertising influence society. Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. The am New York had an interesting statistic in an article titled "Guns and people"; there are nine guns for every ten people in the United States, a scary statistic. And there is another interesting article in their paper titled "Mayors band together to combat gun violence", some sort of acknowledgement that there is a problem. And The Villager has interesting statistics in an article titled ""Lower East Siders blast back against gun violence", New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, told a forum that 30,000 people a year are killed in gun violence nationally. And yet another person has lost their life to gun violence, and everyday someone loses their lives to acts of gun violence for whatever reason and no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. It is a story that has been told in yesterdays headlines and will be told in tomorrows headlines with no end in sight. It is an industry that feeds on itself, advertisement and sensational nationalism breeds crime which breeds news, which breeds crime, which breeds more advertisement which breeds more crime. Will the cycle of the beast that has it's grip on humanity ever end. Should not guns be abolished from humanity as a whole, from everyone on the face of planet earth. And then there is that constitutional 4th amendment, the right to bear arms that should be abolished or rewritten to abolish guns and replace them with sticks and stones or something. The idea that property, material goods are worth more than life. It seems as if it is that story "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" and the whole world is paying with the loss of human life which seems to be a disposal commodity in the war industry of people against humanity. Are the slaughters of wars debasing the value of human life? Will the beast, who or whatever it is, ever release it's grip on mankind? Are the standards of social behavior declining? Is there a worldwide moral breakdown? Is society collapsing? Where is the world headed, is there hope? And one could turn the page of the newspaper and forget about these stories and daily atrocities of the world, yet they still exist. And I watched that film Bowling For Columbine by Michael Moore the other day. It is an amazing documentary to me never seen before in the history of time. And the on the back cover jacket for this film it says: "Acclaimmed filmaker Michael Moore (Roger & Me) takes aim at America's love affair with guns and violence in this Oscar winning film that "demands attention" (People)! Mixing riveting footage, hilarious animation and candid interviews with everyone from the NRA's Charlton Heston to shock rocker Marilyn Manson, Bowling for Columbine is a "brilliant" (The Hollywood Reporter) tour de force of filmaking." I am one voice, one blogger. If only it were possible to go back in time before guns existed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
And this latest massacre of the day story, as well as another loss of life story of the day earlier this week are also a psychiatric state. So much that I just find myself reposting the same blog entry I posted just a few weeks ago it seems: And what doe these stories have to do with a No Police State?

And my friend gave me a flyer as we were discussing the latest atrocity of the day in relation to gun violence. It is a flyer she received back in April at Union Square Park of New York City. And it is a flyer about gun violence and psychiatry. The Pharmaceutical industry is bigger than the war industry. Psychiatry Kills. Abolished forced psychiatric treatment. And what's that "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" film by Ken Kesey all about anyway. That's a whole another blog posting. What caused the tragedy in "this state"?

It was reported in the Times and the Post Wednesday:

The killer had been taking anti-depressants.

All too often in the present age, we hear the tragic news of a senseless massacre somewhere in the country. Experience has shown, that the killer has almost always, if not absolutely always, been someone who had been prescribed anti-depressants.

The killers with names were kids who had been prescribed the anti-depressant ritalin.
The man who shot someone at this place had been prescribed an anti-depressant whose classic symptom is extreme rage directed at one specific person. The killers in the recent massacres in three different states, also one in another state, had been taking various prescription anti depressants.

Pharmaceutical drugs are prescribed, not as a last resort but as a first thought, not hesitantly but hastily and with excess. They are not properly used, but abused, with no thought of the side effects of taking chemicals which nature did not produce and evolution did not plan for us to be subjected to, like bug spray or insecticide. And this is not a small and isolated phenomenon, but rather a deliberate and systematic poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, on an epidemic scale.

The concentration of power, Mr. Moneybags, the State, which controls the American military-industrial complex and the pharmaceutical chemical companies that are an integral part of that system, the State, which, as Eisenhower warned, would one day gain undue influence and endanger our Liberties, has an interest in promoting this epidemic scourge of prescription drug use. Hundreds of billions of dollars a year, are made by the corporations that sell these drugs. It is big business. In addition, the State which experience has shown, for thousands of years all over the globe, tends to want to empower itself and dis-empower the People, gets exactly that benefit from this epidemic of drug use. Power and authority, competency and incompetency breeds corruption. It dis-empowers individuals by making them unhealthy. And it dis-empowers the community and the nation, by making people distrustful of each other; by making people think that their neighbor is a crazy person who they must be protected from; by persuading the People to accept, even to demand, increased police power of the State to protect them. Under such conditions even the will to independence vanishes.

The innovations of scientists and engineers are stolen and subverted by the concentrations of power; a virtue has become a vice, and chemical technology, which can and of right ought to be a liberating force in society, becomes enslaving.

Doctors are encouraged, by the drug industry, to prescribe artificial drugs to their patients. It is a regular practice, for the drug companies to pay a doctor a fee every time that doctor prescribes one of their drugs. It is no secret. In this way, the basic essential character of the American medical profession becomes one of conflict of interest.

The companies that make these drugs exert a great deal of pressure upon the mass media. There are huge advertising contracts, and there is an overlap of ownership between the drug companies and the media companies. The fact that a mass murderer was taking prescription drugs, is one of those things that will show up once in the newspapers, but is immediately and finally buried, and mum becomes the word.

There have been a thousand analyses of the killer in papers, of his history, his personality, his psychological problems; there have been a thousand demands for increased police powers; there have been a thousand calls for the outlawing of guns, and a general de-clawing of the People. But has anyone asked, how is it that society produces so many sick people?

Prescription anti-depressants are known to be a common cause of suicide; they are known to be a constant presence in senseless massacres. Surely the number of individual murders caused by these drugs must be many times greater than the number of massacres. And if there are so many suicides and murders, how many people taking pharmaceuticals must be gravely suffering, but have not quite yet arrived at the point of suicide or murder?

This epidemic of drug use, this deliberate poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, this deliberate, and thus far largely successful, did-empowerment of the American people, must stop. It is our purpose to reveal this truth to the American people, so that we may once again live in a sane and healthy society and the tragic deaths of so many good people in this State shall not have been in vain.

The Face Of Poker Again

Hey Bloggers, what's a poker face? I just came across something on the internet about the game of poker which has me to wondering what's a poker face, among many other thoughts. Is that a face of poker. And what is poker? Does Wikipedia, that internet bible dictionary have an entry for that? And from what I remember, does it have something to do with that The Emperor Wears No Clothes story where one puts on a sort of pretend face and does not show their true feelings, and it is a child who sees clearly, or what is the moral of that story. And is this some sort of strategy of life, some sort of defense of life, some sort of game that is played with a deck of cards or something. And what about that deck of cards, what kind of cards are in that deck of cards. What does this phrase mean. And I think I may have seen people wearing this face sometimes throughout my travels, and I think I wear it sometimes, but how and when and for what reason. And what if ones does not wear this face, and does this face really exist at all? What does this all mean. And in other blah blog thoughts, I've been Twittering a lot lately in my blogaholicness as npsgirl, and boy are some of those profile names on Twitter funny, with names like "Father Time", "EvilPRGuy", "Dr. Blogstein" "Dr of Love", "paperchasr", "grantsrant", "RSS Vanity Spy", and "Philosopher X". Unrest Again

And so here goes another one of those posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago on this recycle this blog day. And even though the date, times and places may have changed, the story remains the same....

And there is unrest in the world. And I know because there are headlines in the news and sitting in my email inbox seemingly piling up upon each other with no end in sight with titles that read, "Defiant Hamas hits Israel with dozens of rockets, Taliban burning, beheading its way through Pakistani valley, Man shoots talker at movies, 'Santa' opens fire at Calif. party , Clashes hit Athens ahead of boy's funeral, shots fired in SoCal Toys 'R' Us". And these headlines seem as if they want to be endless. And even though the mantra of the day seems to be "Happy Holidays", it sometimes does not seem so happy. As a bleak grim photo of the world seems as if it is being painted between the economy, people who are losing their lives on a daily basis due to gun violence, that subject that seems to be nowhere found in those presidential election campaigns, an endless amount of seemingly never ending wars that seem as if they have been around since the beginning of time, and a seemingly endless amount of other atrocious and incomprehensible headlines that are too innumerable for me to mention in one blog posting. And are these merry happy holy dayze in this seasons greetings, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year time of year. Are they to be found somewhere here on planet earth. And I wonder if this world that seems as if it is spinning out of control is all part of that 2012 on track thing, or that Kali Yuga iron age descending thing, or some other magical explanation that could be written the stars somewhere in prophecy. And is there a reason to celebrate the holidays this year, these days and times. And it is an observance. Where is the world headed. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

The Beast Again

Okay, it's not exactly that holiday of Halloween as I look at that Gregorian calendar on wall. It's just that this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever blaghers block possible.

Abracadabra! Open sesame! Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Metal, Wood. It is still Halloween today. And this day could be a blessing or a curse, as that is what the word abracadabra means according to that Internet dictionary Wikipedia. "Avracadabra" is derived from the Hebrew, ha-brachah, meaning "the blessing" and dabra, an Aramaic form of the Hebrew word dever, meaning "pestilence". And it is also the origin of the name of that fat bellied demon Abraxas, a Gnostic word for God which was thought to be a spell of great power. His name adds up to exactly 365, whatever that could mean. And it is magic and occult. And for what reason does that triangle photo placed in this blog entry look like half of a pentagram, I am not sure. And today is that scary, supernatural and mystical time of year when the devil, Satan, Christ and the spirits of the dead come to town. When Pan and the Grim Reaper awakes and witchcraft, witches, gargoyles and Gothics come out to play and when one gets to masquerade and play dress up for whoever they want to be. And in a change of topic that comes to mind, I am thinking of that great beast in Revelations, as those California wildfires are still burning and they are reminding me of Armageddon or the apocalypse or something enough to make me think it is the beginning of the end. Or maybe it is just global warming or mother nature. And I also seem to be running out of things to blah blog about these days again. And so those religious thoughts come to mind again as I ask myself, who or what is that beast that is to be found in the Book of Revelations. Who or what is this beast that seems to have its grip on mankind and the world and will not let go in the seemingly endless amount of atrocities that happen on a daily basis in the world these days that are too innumerable to mention with no end in sight. Who or what does the beast represent? Is it that beast that Babylon sits on that I posted about a few postings ago. And when I think of the beast, more thoughts come to mind; Babylon, confusion, the anti Christ, technology, the microprocessor, a cashless society, the Middle East, the European Union, globalism, security, terrorism, nuclear energy, national I.D's, the collapse of morality, trials and tribulations, wars and rumors of wars and Satan ruling the world etc;. Are these some of the top ten prophecy signs of the beginning of the end. And again when I think of the beast I think of gun violence and glory, the worst invention of an industry ever, and all of the things that kill man, man made or nature; wars, famine, disease, plagues, wild beasts, and save no man that he may buy or sell except that he has the mark of the beast upon his forehead, or is that his right hand, for it is the number of a man, 666. Whatever that means. And who are those beasts full of eyes, and those horses that are to be found in Revelations. That could be a whole another blog posting. And much like the verse of Babylon, there is a wealth of information to be interpreted. And so to make this blog posting an even longer posting to read and possibly the longest posting I have posted yet.., I am posting that all to familiar verse to be found in the book of Revelations. A Different Calendar Year Again

Hey Bloggers, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and those other holy days this time of year are here and according to that Gregorian calendar New Years Eve and New Years Day is just around the corner. I know because the calendar, the date on this computers clock, and all of those advertisings and listings in all of those newspapers says so. And with that New Years days usually comes what seems like a ton of New Years Day parties and celebrations to celebrate the ringing in and coming of the new year. And from what I recall, according to that Chinese New Year zodiac 12 year cycle calendar, it is also the year of the ox, I think. And its New Years Eve party time for another calendar year. And that photo that appears with their article links to an Amazon Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True paperback book. And 2011 = 1984. 2012. An awakening. A time for change. And if I could add a couple of Big Brother Checkpoint Charlie things to this list throughout my travels here on planet earth they would be something like: So what's up with all of those New York City subway terrorize and program you with if you see a suspicious package, if you see something say something horrorize you terror messages one has to listen to as they attempt to go their subway way each subway day messages. And who are the terror horrorists these days and times. In this country, the control freaks that run things are obsessed with watching, tracking, monitoring and recording virtually everything that we do. Nothing is private anymore. Yes, the United States of America is rapidly being turned into a "Big Brother" prison grid, and most Americans are happily going along with it.

The sad thing is that this used to be "the land of the free and the home of the brave".

So what in the world happened?

A fundamental shift in our culture has taken place. The American people have eagerly given up huge chunks of liberty and freedom in exchange for vague promises of increased security.

Our country is now run by total control freaks and paranoia has become standard operating procedure.

We were told that the terrorists hate our liberties and our freedoms, and that we needed to fight the terrorists so that we could keep our liberties and our freedoms.

But instead, the government keeps taking away all of our liberties and our freedoms.

How in the world does that make any sense?

Have the terrorists won?

As a country, we have moved so far in the direction of communist China, the USSR and Nazi Germany that it is almost impossible to believe.

Yes, turning the United States of America into a giant prison may make us all slightly safer, but what kind of life is this?

Do we want to be dead while we are still alive?

Is this the price that we want to pay in order to feel slightly safer?

Where are the millions of Americans that still yearn to breathe free air?

America is supposed to be a land teeming with people thirsting for independence. For example, "Live Free or Die" is supposedly the official motto of the state of New Hampshire.

But instead, the motto of most Americans seems to be "live scared and die cowering".

We don't have to live like this.

Yes, bad things are always going to happen. No amount of security is ever going to be able to keep us 100% safe.

We need to remember that a very high price was paid for our liberty and we should not give it up so easily.

As one very famous American once said, when we give up liberty for security we deserve neither.

The following are 30 signs that the United States of America is being turned into a giant prison....

#1 A new bill that is going through the U.S. Senate would allow the U.S. military to arrest American citizens and hold them indefinitely without trial. This new law was recently discussed in an article posted on the website of the New American....

In what may be a tale too bizarre to be believed by millions of Americans, the U.S. Senate appears ready to pass a bill that will designate the entire earth, including the United States and its territories, one all-encompassing “battlefield” in the global “war on terror” and authorize the detention of Americans suspected of terrorist ties indefinitely and without trial or even charges being filed that would necessitate a trial.

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is a big supporter of the bill, and he says that it would "basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield".

According to the PPJ Gazette, the following are three things that this new law would do....

1) Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside the United States;

(2) Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and

(3) Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice.

#2 U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman is asking Google to install a "terrorist button" on all Blogger.com blogs so that readers can easily flag "terrorist content" for authorities.

#3 Most Americans have no idea how sophisticated the "Big Brother" prison grid has become. For example, in Washington D.C. the movements of every single car are tracked using automated license plate readers (ALPRs). The following comes from a recent Washington Post article....

More than 250 cameras in the District and its suburbs scan license plates in real time, helping police pinpoint stolen cars and fleeing killers. But the program quietly has expanded beyond what anyone had imagined even a few years ago.

With virtually no public debate, police agencies have begun storing the information from the cameras, building databases that document the travels of millions of vehicles.

Nowhere is that more prevalent than in the District, which has more than one plate-reader per square mile, the highest concentration in the nation. Police in the Washington suburbs have dozens of them as well, and local agencies plan to add many more in coming months, creating a comprehensive dragnet that will include all the approaches into the District.

#4 In some American schools, RFID chips are now being used to monitor the attendance and movements of children while they are at school. The following is how one article recently described a program that has just been instituted at a preschool in California....

Upon arriving in the morning, according to the Associated Press, each student at the CCC-George Miller preschool will don a jersey with a stitched in RFID chip. As the kids go about the business of learning, sensors in the school will record their movements, collecting attendance for both classes and meals. Officials from the school have claimed they're only recording information they're required to provide while receiving federal funds for their Headstart program.

#5 Increasingly, incidents of misbehavior at many U.S. schools are being treated as very serious crimes. For example, when a little girl kissed a little boy at one Florida elementary school recently, it was considered to be a "possible sex crime" and the police were called out.

#6 But what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California earlier this year was even worse....

Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old.

#7 In the United States today, police are trained to respond to even the smallest crimes with extreme physical force. For example, one grandfather in Arizona was recently filmed laying unconscious in a pool of his own blood after police rammed his head into the flood inside a Wal-Mart on Black Friday night. It was thought that he was shoplifting, but it turns out that he says that he was just trying to tuck a video game away so other crazed shoppers would not grab it out of his hands.

#8 Did you know that the government actually sets up fake cell phone towers that can intercept your cell phone calls? The following is how a recent Wired article described these "stingrays"....

You make a call on your cellphone thinking the only thing standing between you and the recipient of your call is your carrier’s cellphone tower. In fact, that tower your phone is connecting to just might be a boobytrap set up by law enforcement to ensnare your phone signals and maybe even the content of your calls.

So-called stingrays are one of the new high-tech tools that authorities are using to track and identify you. The devices, about the size of a suitcase, spoof a legitimate cellphone tower in order to trick nearby cellphones and other wireless communication devices into connecting to the tower, as they would to a real cellphone tower.

The government maintains that the stingrays don’t violate Fourth Amendment rights, since Americans don’t have a legitimate expectation of privacy for data sent from their mobile phones and other wireless devices to a cell tower.

#9 U.S. border agents are allowed by law to search any laptop being brought into the United States without even needing any reason to do so.

#10 In the United States of America, everyone is a "potential terrorist". According to FBI Director Robert Mueller, "homegrown terrorists" represent as big a threat to American national security as al-Qaeda does.

#11 Most Americans are not that concerned about the Patriot Act, but that might change if they understood that the federal government has a "secret interpretation" of what the Patriot Act really means. U.S. Senator Ron Wyden says that the U.S. government interprets the Patriot Act much more "broadly" than the general public does....

"We’re getting to a gap between what the public thinks the law says and what the American government secretly thinks the law says."

#12 The FBI is now admittedly recording Internet talk radio programs all over the United States. The following comes from a recent article by Mark Weaver of WMAL.com....

If you call a radio talk show and get on the air, you might be recorded by the FBI.

The FBI has awarded a $524,927 contract to a Virginia company to record as much radio news and talk programming as it can find on the Internet.

The FBI says it is not playing big brother by policing the airwaves, but rather seeking access to what airs as potential evidence.

#13 The federal government has decided that what you and I share with one another on Facebook and on Twitter could be a threat to national security. According to a recent Associated Press article, the Department of Homeland Security will soon be "gleaning information from sites such as Twitter and Facebook for law enforcement purposes".

#14 What you say on your cell phone is never private. The truth is that that the FBI can demand to see your cell phone data whenever it wants. In addition, according to CNET News the FBI can remotely activate the microphone on your cell phone and listen to whatever you are saying....

The FBI appears to have begun using a novel form of electronic surveillance in criminal investigations: remotely activating a mobile phone's microphone and using it to eavesdrop on nearby conversations.

The technique is called a "roving bug," and was approved by top U.S. Department of Justice officials for use against members of a New York organized crime family who were wary of conventional surveillance techniques such as tailing a suspect or wiretapping him.

#15 In some areas of the country, law enforcement authorities are pulling data out of cell phones for no reason whatsoever. According to the ACLU, state police in Michigan are now using "extraction devices" to download data from the cell phones of motorists that they pull over. This is taking place even if the motorists that are pulled over are not accused of doing anything wrong.

The following is how a recent article on CNET News described the capabilities of these "extraction devices"....

The devices, sold by a company called Cellebrite, can download text messages, photos, video, and even GPS data from most brands of cell phones. The handheld machines have various interfaces to work with different models and can even bypass security passwords and access some information.

#16 The federal government has become so paranoid that they have been putting GPS tracking devices on the vehicles of thousands of people that have not even been charged with committing any crimes. The following is a short excerpt from a recent Wired magazine article about this issue....

The 25-year-old resident of San Jose, California, says he found the first one about three weeks ago on his Volvo SUV while visiting his mother in Modesto, about 80 miles northeast of San Jose. After contacting Wired and allowing a photographer to snap pictures of the device, it was swapped out and replaced with a second tracking device. A witness also reported seeing a strange man looking beneath the vehicle of the young man’s girlfriend while her car was parked at work, suggesting that a tracking device may have been retrieved from her car.

Then things got really weird when police showed up during a Wired interview with the man.

The young man, who asked to be identified only as Greg, is one among an increasing number of U.S. citizens who are finding themselves tracked with the high-tech devices.

The Justice Department has said that law enforcement agents employ GPS as a crime-fighting tool with “great frequency,” and GPS retailers have told Wired that they’ve sold thousands of the devices to the feds.

#17 New high-tech street lights that are being funded by the federal government and that are being installed all over the nation can also be used as surveillance cameras, can be used by the DHS to make "security announcements" and can even be used to record personal conversations. The following is from a recent article by Paul Joseph Watson for Infowars.com....

Federally-funded high-tech street lights now being installed in American cities are not only set to aid the DHS in making “security announcements” and acting as talking surveillance cameras, they are also capable of “recording conversations,” bringing the potential privacy threat posed by ‘Intellistreets’ to a whole new level.

#18 If you choose to protest in the streets of America today, there is a good chance that you will be brutalized. All over the United States law enforcement authorities have been spraying pepper spray directly into the faces of unarmed protesters in recent weeks.

#19 In many areas of the United States today, you will be arrested if you do not produce proper identification for the police. In the old days, "your papers please" was a phrase that was used to use to mock the tyranny of Nazi Germany. But now all of us are being required to be able to produce "our papers" for law enforcement authorities at any time. For example, a 21-year-old college student named Samantha Zucker was recently arrested and put in a New York City jail for 36 hours just because she could not produce any identification for police.

#20 According to blogger Alexander Higgins, students in kindergarten and the 1st grade in the state of New Jersey are now required by law to participate "in monthly anti-terrorism drills". The following is an excerpt from a letter that he recently received from the school where his child attends....

Each month a school must conduct one fire drill and one security drill which may be a lockdown, bomb threat, evacuation, active shooter, or shelter-in place drill. All schools are now required by law to implement this procedure.

So who in the world ever decided that it would be a good idea for 1st grade students to endure "lockdown" and "active shooter" drills?

#21 With all of the other problems that we are having all over the nation, you would think that authorities would not be too concerned about little kids that are trying to sell cups of lemonade. But sadly, over the past year police have been sent in to shut down lemonade stands run by children all over the United States.

#22 The federal government has decided to invest a significant amount of time, money and energy raiding organic farms. The following example comes from Natural News....

It is the latest case of extreme government food tyranny, and one that is sure to have you reeling in anger and disgust. Health department officials recently conducted a raid of Quail Hollow Farm, an organic community supported agriculture (CSA) farm in southern Nevada, during its special "farm to fork" picnic dinner put on for guests -- and the agent who arrived on the scene ordered that all the fresh, local produce and pasture-based meat that was intended for the meal be destroyed with bleach.

#23 It is an absolute disgrace that all of us (including grandmothers and young children) must either go through body scanners that reveal the intimate details of our naked bodies or endure "enhanced pat-downs" during which our genitals will be touched before we are allowed to get on an airplane.

It is also an absolute disgrace that the American people are putting up with this.

#24 Invasive TSA security techniques are not just for airports anymore. Now, TSA "VIPR teams" are actively conducting random inspections at bus stations and on interstate highways all over the United States. For example, the following comes from a local news report down in Tennessee....

You're probably used to seeing TSA's signature blue uniforms at the airport, but now agents are hitting the interstates to fight terrorism with Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR).

"Where is a terrorist more apt to be found? Not these days on an airplane more likely on the interstate," said Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons.

Tuesday Tennessee was first to deploy VIPR simultaneously at five weigh stations and two bus stations across the state.

TSA "VIPR teams" now conduct approximately 8,000 "unannounced security screenings" a year at subway stations, bus terminals, ports and highway rest stops.

#25 More than a million hotel television sets all over America are now broadcasting propaganda messages from the Department of Homeland Security promoting the "See Something, Say Something" campaign. In essence, the federal government wants all of us to become "informants" and to start spying on one another constantly. The following comes from an article posted by USA Today....

Starting today, the welcome screens on 1.2 million hotel television sets in Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn and other hotels in the USA will show a short public service announcement from DHS. The 15-second spot encourages viewers to be vigilant and call law enforcement if they witness something suspicious during their travels.

#26 Certain "types" of American citizens are being labeled as potential threats in official U.S. government documents. An unclassified Department of Homeland Security report published a couple years ago entitled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment" claims that a belief in Bible prophecy "could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons." The report goes on to state that such people are potentially dangerous.

#27 Back on February 20, 2009, the State of Missouri issued a report entitled "MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement". That report warned that the following types of people may be potential terrorists....

*anti-abortion activists

*those that are against illegal immigration

*those that consider "the New World Order" to be a threat

*those that have a negative view of the United Nations

#28 As I have written about previously, a very disturbing document that Oath Keepers has obtained shows that the FBI is now instructing store owners to report many new forms of "suspicious activity" to them. According to the document, "suspicious activity" now includes the following....

*paying with cash

*missing a hand or fingers

*"strange odors"

*making "extreme religious statements"

*"radical theology"

*purchasing weatherproofed ammunition or match containers

*purchasing meals ready to eat

*purchasing night vision devices, night flashlights or gas masks

Do any of those "signs of suspicious activity" apply to you?

#29 Soon you may get labeled as a "potential terrorist" if you are just feeling a little nervous. A new "pre-crime" technology system that is currently being tested by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will soon be in use all over the nation. It is called "Future Attribute Screening Technology" (FAST), and it is very frightening. The following description of this new program comes from an article in the London Telegraph....

Using cameras and sensors the "pre-crime" system measures and tracks changes in a person's body movements, the pitch of their voice and the rhythm of their speech.

It also monitors breathing patterns, eye movements, blink rate and alterations in body heat, which are used to assess an individual's likelihood to commit a crime.

The Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) programme is already being tested on a group of government employees who volunteered to act as guinea pigs.

#30 The truth is that nobody puts more people into prison than America does. The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world and the largest total prison population on the entire globe.

Once again, despite all of this outrageous "security", it is inevitable that a lot of really bad things are going to happen in the United States in the years ahead.

When there are incidents of violence, it is also inevitable that there will be calls for even more "Big Brother" security measures.

We are going to be caught in a never ending spiral of tyranny where the "solution" is always even tighter security.

Eventually, we will have lost all of our liberties and freedoms, and we will probably be even less safe than we are today.

Do not be deceived. We could put a soldier on every corner, a video camera in every room of every home and an RFID chip in every citizen but that would not make us "safe".

Every single lawmaker that is backing these laws which strip our liberties and freedoms away deserves to be voted out of office.

If you love the United States of America, please stand up and say something while you still can.

...since the spokes/ga peoole aren't connected to the people on the street any more, only each other from internet discussions and planned meeting indoors, a lot of people are left out of their considerations who are on the street and either can't get back into zucotti because they have large bags / sleeping bags etc, or aren't kept in the loop regarding when and where meetings are going to be held...they tried to get the angry homeless occupiers off their backs when i was there last time by telling them they could get food but only right then (in the middle of the GA) since it was being served a block away from the GA...it really seemed like a dirty trick, since they weren't hungry at all and had probably eaten but the people on the street were angry enough to say "fuck the food, we want to talk about this now"...
...Ok then you should know what is the problem sorry a lot of people are jumping in without having any facts....

....i agree that if they do not begin to work with the occupiers then we should go to every GA and block their proposals to spend money at every turn...it is a sad solution but it will get their attention and force them to begin to work with the people again who put their asses on the line and in the cold every night...the last GA we went to people wanted to hire trainers for the Medical team to learn urban street survival tactics, which would have been fine and dandy to help the occupiers, except as I brought up, I have not seen any Medics on the street helping for the last couple weeks, so spending nearly 1600 dollars on that seemed kind of silly, why learn how to survive and help people on the streets, when you and your team are all living indoors?...
....at that same GA the people in the park who had been sleeping there for months, and were still hanging out there at night diidn't even recognize the people running the GA so began chanting "who are you? who are you?"...they had not even been sleeping there (or no one recognized them) and somehow still were managing things...
....I hesitate to suggest this but as an absolutely last possible resort, start a new donation line for the park Occupiers?....
....the spokescouncil is composed of representatives from the different working groups who represent their interests at the GA...

And on this day also finds itself as Occupy Broadway to be found in that city of New York on that Street of 50th and Broadway in Times Square. The light of the body is the eye. And it is not so often, every so often that I find myself blah blaghing about that seemingly faceless beast of a monster system of the MTA to be found in that city of New York, though this is one of those times where I find myself blah blogging about the NYCMTA. And is Mercury in retrograde or something? Now I'm not trying to be metrocard funny, though I found myself being taken for a New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority subway ride, literally, or something like that, sometime a recent while ago as I was attempting to go my way on that New York City subway ride day, by one of those MTA take your money for those metrocards and not really put that money on your metro card especially if you're not paying attention to it being refilled and buzz you through the gate instead to where you find yourself returning to that metrocard token booth to complain to that pocketed your fare agent an hour and a half later after you see that that money is not on your metro card only to find that pocketed your fare agent attempting to give you your money back that you may or may not want back to where you may find yourself complaining on one of those NYCMTA MTA agent pocketed my fare complaint forms only never to be responded to again, ever, or something like that. Now this is a new one to me in that faceless beast of a Metropolitan Transportation Agency of a going your way system. And could this be one of those reasons why Wall Street is Occupied? And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

A Black Friday Buy Nothing Day

It's that time of year again and the holiday season seems to be upon us. And the shop, shop until you drop season seems to also be upon us also. And it's also Occupy Wall Street Day 69 on this Thanksgiving Day of a holiday here in North America according to that Gregorian calendar on the wall. And remember the Indians and eat more tofurky, or something like that. And according to Occupy Wall Street's website tomorrow is also Buy Nothing Day. And their website reads something like as follows:

You’ve been sleeping on the streets for two months pleading peacefully for a new spirit in economics. And just as your camps are raided, your eyes pepper sprayed and your head’s knocked in, another group of people are preparing to camp-out. Only these people aren’t here to support occupy Wall Street, they’re here to secure their spot in line for a Black Friday bargain at Super Target and Macy’s.

Occupy gave the world a new way of thinking about the fat cats and financial pirates on Wall Street. Now lets give them a new way of thinking about the holidays, about our own consumption habits. Lets’ use the coming 20th annual Buy Nothing Day to launch an all-out offensive to unseat the corporate kings on the holiday throne.

This year’s Black Friday will be the first campaign of the holiday season where we set the tone for a new type of holiday culminating with #OCCUPYXMAS. As the global protests of the 99% against corporate greed and casino capitalism continues, lets take the opportunity to hit the empire where it really hurts…the wallet.

On Nov 25/26th we escape the mayhem and unease of the biggest shopping day in North America and put the breaks on rabid consumerism for 24 hours. Flash mobs, consumer fasts, mall sit-ins, community events, credit card-ups, whirly-marts and jams, jams, jams! We don’t camp on the sidewalk for a reduced price tag on a flat screen TV or psycho-killer video game. Instead, we occupy the very paradigm that is fueling our eco, social and political decline.

Historically, Buy Nothing Day has been about fasting from hyper consumerism – a break from the cash register and reflecting on how dependent we really are on conspicuous consumption. On this 20th anniversary of Buy Nothing Day, we take it to the next level, marrying it with the message of #occupy…

And this is what democracy looks like on this day. And this is what a police state looks like on this day when one turns on the computer, radio, television or walks by the newsstands to read the headline news on this day. 2012, a time for change. And for what reason does this we are the ninety nine percent of a global revolution movement seem as if it wants to all come down to property, who owns the land. Who's right is it to say that the land is for sale anyway. Parens Patraie, father of our country, father of the people. And for what reason does that word patriot have the word riot in it, and what does parens patraie, father of our country mean, as I think this word is what involuntary slavery and servitude is based on, maybe, the idea that the state owns an individual. A man is born free but he is in chains, I read somewhere. And does that internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have an entry for this phrase. Every night I watch the evening news. Although we have a ton of channels through the many direct tv packages, I prefer the evening news on basic cable. I think it is extremely important to be an informed citizen, and I make it a priority to stay abreast of today’s current events. My wife thinks that the news is too depressing, and it can be at times. However, I believe it is important to know what is happening in the world and to understand todays’ current events. Because I have a love of history, I am always interested in how what is happening now connects with the past. My father was a college history professor, and while I am in the business world, he passed along his love of history to me. I am always reading historical nonfiction and biographies. I also keep up with the politics of the day. I believe it is important for people to vote with an understanding of the issues and what each candidate stands for. Sadly, this is often not the case in the American public.

Well then I guess I could find it Veterans Day appropriate to post another one of those recycle this blog posts for Veterans Day day on this blagh in an attempt to maintain content for this blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible.

Honor The Veterans?

And on this day finds itself another one of those Sundays that has rolled around. The day of the sun, the day of rest, the sabbath. Or is that Saturday. And yet I find myself recycling this blog with posts that have already been posted on this blog for some reason or another in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever blaghers block possible. And so it isn't exactly Veterans Day on this day as far as that calendar on the wall says, as this is yet another one of those Orwellian news speak like posts that finds itself on this blog, though I would think that some sort of patriotic holiday has passed according to that American Gregorian calendar on the wall.

I thought I heard someone say yesterday that today or tomorrow is Veterans Day, another one of those patriotic holidays where the flag wavers come out in force. Let me check the calendar to see. Oh yeah, the calendar says Veterans day is today. Is this day observed in America only, or is this day observed in the rest of the world also? And so I find myself reposting a posting I posted several months ago for Memorial day, another one of those patriot holidays where the American flag wavers come out in force. Veterans account for a majority of the homeless mentally ill population these days, and a majority of them are disabled now as a result. For what reason is this an honor to support? I consider myself antipsychiatricky and do not believe mental illness exists and that psychiatry kills and originates from Nazi Germany where psych cia trists were mass murderers in white coats as is the case today, and that the mental death system is also an extension of Orwellianism, where family members turn in family members, and neighbors turn in neighbors to the thought police for thought crimes. Psychiatry and psych trickery is an art and not a science. And so I would like to think of mental illness as problems in living. And I believe in the abolishment of forced psych cia trick treatment that is often cruel and inhumane. Therapy? The rap y? Y the rap? Therapist, The rapist. Mind Freedom is a great website to read for all things alternative to the mental death system. And so today is Memorial Day in America. I mean Veterans day in America. A celebration of the war day. Another one of those patriotic holidays. The flag wavers are out and yellow ribbons, badges of honor, medals, parades, marches, prayers, patriotic songs, tributes and ceremonies are being broadcast everywhere. The headlines read "Honor the dead soldiers, honor the fallen soldiers and comrades". Today is the ultimate patriotic fanatic holiday, or the ultimate hate hour as George Orwell might say. My question of the day; for what reason is it an honor to volunteer to be fodder for the canon. For what reason is it an honor to die for nothing, to fight for reasons that do not exist, to fight against the flesh for powers that be that one cannot even see. For what reason is it an honor to be so poor that one will volunteer their life in exchange for money after one leaves the service, if one leaves the service. For what reason is it an honor for persons to be brainwashed with propaganda, theirs or mine. For what reason is it an honor to become a violent person and pick up a gun and kill another person for no reason at all, except for the fact that guns have been invented, the worst invention of an industry ever. For what reason is it an honor to be a veteran who now make up the majority of the homeless population. For what reason is it an honor to attend one of those military sponsored funerals and cry over the image of a flag that propagates violence, the same flag that caused ones death. For what reason is it an honor to fall and die for nothing. For what reason is it an honor to promote this ideology. What is heroic about all of this? And why does the word "Patriot" have the word "Riot" in it? And why does the word "Military" militant militia have the word "Mal" in it? "Parens Patriae, father of the people", the guardian. That phrase seems to be the basis of an endless amount of death and suffering in the world; the protection of property or other material things. I saw Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary. It is nineteen eighty four and Orwellianism is everywhere at its best today. The war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be a continuous cycle, I think. Is it written somewhere that this must all come to pass? Happy beach bar b queing Memorial day, I mean Veterans day. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. 2012: A Time For Change

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And even though on this day finds itself that holy day of Halloween where I may find myself watching that band Underground Horns marching up the Avenue of the Americas in the 39th Annual Village Halloween Parade in that city of New York on this day, I somehow find myself blogging, or posting another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago for that 2012: a time for change, Theater for the New City Village Halloween Costume Ball 2011 photo that finds itself posted above in an attempt to maintain content for this blagh whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. And that 2012 recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog sometime a while ago reads something like as follows. And in other thoughts, "Seen on facebook - Occupy The Streets. Occupy The World 11/11/11 11:11:11. Seen elsewhere - "11:11 is timeless. it has no beginning, it has no end" the 11th hour. an awakening. an ascension. occupy the world on armistice day." Happy All Hallows Eve.

Okay, and so this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog sometime a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blagh whenever possible because hey, it's less writing sometimes. I think.

Now this is an interesting story. As I was getting my daily dose of world news today of all the daily atrocities of the world that are too innumerable to mention, enough cacophony and anomaly of atrocities on a daily basis to make me think that is the beginning of the end and then to turn off the news and pretend that none of the horrible news of the day stories exists in this information overload technological world we live in these days, I came across this headline: "Russians Wait For The End Of The World". Hugh? Gog and Magog, what does it mean? And now my Armageddon, Apocalyptic, religious fanaticism thoughts start coming to mind again. Is this one of those top ten prophetic signs of the end of the world? Are Doomsday, Nostradamus, the Anti Christ, Jesus, World War III and the apocalypse on their way now? And this article went on to say something about that these people see the commercialization of the church, tax identification numbers and passports as the apocalyptic sign of the beast and do not go to school, watch television, listen to radio or handle money. They believe in spiritual and moral education. Now that's interesting. Are these people the chosen ones? Who is to decide what is normal and what is not. This is yet one more story to be followed in the news today and tomorrow. And with that thought in mind, what's that "Leonid meteor shower to peak this weekend" thing all about? How will the satellites fare in the sky? Will stars and angels fall out of the sky? Is this the dragon, that serpent of the sky whose seven heads and tail cast stars to the earth in Revelations or something? Is that constellation of shooting stars and angels going to be cast down to earth during that war in heaven? Is this a sign of the coming of the Messiah? Is Babylon falling? Is that some prophecy sign in heaven written in the stars also. Did Nostradamus predict this comet also? What exactly does that Leonid meteor shower mean, anything? Now maybe about this leonid meteor shower being a heavenly sign thing that I just came across, I may have been on the computer too long today and maybe it is time for me to turn it off and pretend I do not read the news in my religious and now astrological fanaticism. Does this Leonid meteor shower thing have to to do with that Pluto now being in Sagittarius galactic core season of change thing I wrote about a few blog postings ago? And what kind of season of change does this mean? According to that Leonid Meteor site above, Saturn the Great Millennial Sabbath, the Messianic planet and the grim reaper and his sickle may be near, if you believe.:

So on this day finds itself recycle this blagh day again in my attempt to maintain web 2.0 social media user generated content for this blagh whenever bloggers block possible, as this is part of another one of those posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago.

Oh boy, it's that time of year again that has found itself around again according to that Gregorian calendar on the wall. The end of summer and the beginning of the holy holiday season. And with that holy holiday season finds itself Halloween, All Saints Day, All Hallows Eve, The Day of the Dead,when the dead rise, a great excuse to dress however one wants and not care about it, or whatever one would want to call that scary, spooky, astrological, mystical, occult, witchcraft of a day. If only every day could be Halloween, maybe. And so with that holiday holidaying day seems to come a slew of Halloween events and parties and beyond to go along with it. And I have found myself blah blaghing about that holiday on this blog before in times past. And so some of those events to be found in that city of New York in this year of 2010 A.D. are as follows:

That seemingly end all to be all of parades to be found in that city of New York with seemingly a bazillion puppets, marching bands, dancers, performers and more. "Occupy Art" Show At Theater For The New City

Hey again Bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And an Occupy Art Show at Theater for the New City is happening on November 12th in that neighborhood of the Lower East Side now called the East Village for real estate marketing purposes maybe, to be found in that city of New York to be found in that country of North America. And that "Occupy Art" Show at Theater For The New City is happening on a date so far away as I blah blog this post, that I can't even think that far, I think, sometimes, maybe. Though that event seems to be happening amongst a seemingly bazillion other Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together events. And in case you have been stuck in the stone age or under one of those rocks and haven't heard of Occupy Wall Street by now, the description of that movement or revolution reads something like "All day occupation (possibly longer) of Wall Street to oppose in numbers the corruption, financial treachery, oligarchy, and forced debts imposed on us by an irresponsible and unapproachable Wall Street (world financial center) sister protests may also take place in similar California Financial Centers if enough interest is shown. This is a peaceful protest and violence will not be tolerated." And also another Occupy Wall Street Facebook event that reads something like "The Occupation Has Begun. Join us at Zuccotti Park (Liberty St & Trinity Place) in NYC beginning on September 17, we want to see 20,000 people flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices". And those Occupy Art photos that I posted above, well they just seem to Occupy Wall Street Occupy Art speak for themselves. And so that Occupy Art or is it Occupy Art NYC post that I came across reads something like:

And as far as I blagher know, tomorrow, October 15th is supposed to be Global Revolution or is it Global Change, International Day of Action Day. And there are so many events going on tomorrow and beyond as part of this Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together movement, that it almost seems impossible to keep track of them all. And those photos and video that find themselves posted above, well they just seem to occupy wall street speak for themselves. And it seems to be all about occupy wall street worldwide and beyond. The Emperor's New Clothes

And so here finds itself another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible.

So what's that story about The Emperor Wears No Clothes? It came across my mind today as I am running out of topics to blog blah blah about. I could use a how to blog class or online tutorial for blogging. How do those millions of other bloggers out there in the blogosphere blog on a daily basis without running out of things to say and write about. So again, today's topic and random thought of the day is what's that story about the Emperor Wears No Clothes, and in my Google search I have just discovered that is a book about the conspiracy against marijuana and cannabis written by Jack Herer. What I meant to say is, so what's that story about the Emperor's New Clothes? Wikipedia says that is a Danish fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen. Wow! Hans Christian Andersen rocks! On my first impression of this story I always gather the image of a king riding down the street on a float in a parade procession wearing no clothes and all of the parade watchers are applauding and congratulating him. And I have always interpreted this as meaning the parade watchers, the people all see that he is wearing no clothes and say nothing. That the people could be brainwashed and programmed, are participating in groupthinc, are playing follow the leader, are not thinking for themselves, are succumbing to peer pressure and gossip, are kissing his rear behind, are lying and deceiving themselves and others, are blind and covering up the truth or are just plain unaware and naive. It almost sounds like it could be a George Orwell nineteen eighty four story from hell also. Does something exist because someone says it does? But the fairy tale is much more complicated and beautiful to read in its description of the emperor. What does this mean? What is the moral of this story? Does the Emperor represent the state, does his wearing no clothes represent freedom from oppression, the naked truth, or something else? And can this concept be applied to life? Will the Emperor ever put his clothes on? I must go read the story of the Emperor now. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State? Have a great day.

And in between reading those headline news of the day which can be all consuming on this Sunday day of the sun, I still find myself blogging about scrubs and the website http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. And so what else is there that I can blogger say about this website blue sky scrubs that has not already been said in blue sky scrubs time. Well, even though that word sounds like blue skies, or even that television drama show that had those doctors and nurses walking around in some sort of hospital like setting wearing those blue and green uniform scrubs, it does seem to be about, scrubs, lab coats, nursing uniforms, scrub uniforms, shirts, jackets, scrub hats, accessories and more. And blue sky scrubs is not just about those basic blue and green scrubs of long lore ago, one can find some designer and stylish scrubs in many different colors at their website that seem as if they could have come off of one of those fashion runway themselves. And a No Comment Art Show is happening amongst a seemingly bazillion other events as part of that Occupy Wall Street worldwide event. And that description for that event reads as follows. And that photo that finds itself posted above, well it just seems to Occupy Wall Street speak for itself. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State. Have a great Occupy Wall Street, art events and more day. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

We will mount an open art performance and exhibition party called " No comment" to be held at the historic JP Morgan building at 23 Wall Street on Saturday Oct 8th from 2 PM on.
This event will support the Occupy Wall Street protests. We will hold a silent auction of the art to raise funds to support the protests. We are looking for art, performance, video, to install during the event. Stand for art against power and have a great... time doing it.

We have a beautiful building right at the corner of Wall and Broad Street at 23 Wall Street . It is known as the JP Morgan building . It is the most capitalistic corner on Earth. It is a 25,000 square foot historic space in a very contested area. The show preceding the Pop-up show that will take place on Saturday October 8th is called 'No Comment". Marika Mairorova created "Loft in the Red Zone" an exhibition that exhibited artists responses to Sept 11th- ten years later. The Occupy Wall Street movement can be considered a healing for the contentious wound of 9/11. Many have objected to business as usual, Wall Street , capitalism as practiced. The fanatics that destroyed the World Trade Center and other targets had ideas about Western Society that had some relevance, despite their methods. This year the power of oligarchs has been transformed by people meeting and holding space. Where this movement is going is anyone's guess. Governments have fallen, secrets revealed, revolutions started, evolution occurring in real time in public view. it is such a difference from hidden cabals of the past. secret meetings hidden from public view. Process is visible as art and public truth. The Pop-up show supports the process that has been visible in Occupy Wall Street movement has invigorated thoughtful ideas about society, power and political process.

Okay it's not really Buy Nothing Day on this day as far as I blogger know, as I think according to those headline news of the day that it's actually Occupy Wall Street Day 17. It's just that this blog wants to confuse me sometimes in its newsspeak Orwellianess with its times, dates and histories in my attempt to maintain more than one blog whenever blaghers block possible. As this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts that found itself posted on this blog some time a while ago.

It's that time of year again, the holiday season is upon us, according to the calendar and advertisements, and it's the most joyous festival time of the year, or is it. And Thanksgiving Day in America is later this week, that nationalistic day to be thankful for something. And remember the Indians, their beads and trinkets, that twenty four dollars and the land of Manna-hatin, and eat more tofurky. No one is free when others are oppressed. And isn't the day after Thanksgiving day Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, or is that the day after Christmas. Well this year the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 23rd, is also Buy Nothing Day and isn't this day celebrated around the world. I am not exactly sure what the story behind this concept is, but I think it has something to do with buying nothing. And Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping will be out there in the streets with shopping events all over New York City all day long. And I imagine there will be a ton of other events in observation of this day. Adbusters will be hitting the streets for a 24 hour consumer fast and there will be a Buy Nothing Day Freegan Feast on this day also. Maybe one can help save the environment and planet earth on this day by consuming less. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Occupy Wall Street Day 13

And in case you haven't heard, that seemingly occupy everything worldwide of an event of Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still happening. And as far as I blagher know, today is Occupy Wall Street Day 13. And I know those Occupy Wall Street events are still happening because a ton of different Occupy Wall Street events that find themselves posted all over facebook and beyond says so. And Occupy Wall Street reads something like "All day occupation (possibly longer) of Wall Street to oppose in numbers the corruption, financial treachery, oligarchy, and forced debts imposed on us by an irresponsible and unapproachable Wall Street (world financial center) sister protests may also take place in similar California Financial Centers if enough interest is shown. This is a peaceful protest and violence will not be tolerated." and also like "The Occupation Has Begun. Join us at Zuccotti Park (Liberty St & Trinity Place) in NYC beginning on September 17, we want to see 20,000 people flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices".
And then there's Nedslist. And I am not exactly blogger sure what Nedslist is, though it seems to be a mailing list that wants to arrive in that email inbox every week or so. And so this weeks Nedslist reads something like:

Don't Be Afraid to Say Revolution!

"Cornel West is here", Milcho said, as we were wandering through Zuccotti Park at dusk. The sky was gray and it smelled like rain; people here and there were securing food, medicine, bedding, under plastic tarps. Milcho, Wendy and Amy and I came to Wall Street together tonight. I am corralling everyone I know to come to the Park to see this live and without filters. And you who are reading this, and can get here should come too, for this is history, friends!

We walked over to the meeting area, and sure enough, there was the unmistakable corona of hair, the too-long white shirtcuffs. We followed him up to the meeting area, sat down. And then watched as tonight's General Assembly of Occupy Wall Street unfolded:

It's late, and I'm too tired to write this well, but as the 11th night of Occupy Wall Street closes, I note a couple of new things:

1. Demographics: Changing, indeed. More diverse, different ages. Some union people, college professors doing teach-ins, old lefties having a look-see. Also: the front line of the media has officially landed. Yesterday it was Michael Moore, today Susan Sarandon. Matt Taibbi says he's visiting tomorrow. Moore is coming back tomorrow to film the General Assembly with Laurence O'Donnell for his MSNBC show. I think O'Donnell is a jerk, but if they just sit back and film the process of the meeting, that would be a real breakthrough in changing the MSM narrative, I think. Right now, most of the people I talk to in my daily life still think OWS is a hippie fest.

2. Cops: Now there are two kinds of blue shirts on the scene--the regular patrol cops, and the (kinder, gentler) Community liason cops in royal blue polo shirts. No white shirts. When the community police are around, you know someone is worried about image. What this says to me is that the city's decided that more violence would be really bad for optics.

3. The Organization--continues to dazzle! After West's remarks, the meeting began with reports from Outreach Committees (they've teamed up with an important black radio station in Philadelphia for Occupy Philly, and they're going to support the Verizon worker's union strike), from the Medics who've started a counseling service, from techies who are doing Linux and open source teach-ins, and from the Laundry Committee, who've washed everything. They've even organized morning tours of Wall Street, which they're offering free to passing tourists!

The most interesting report though was from the committee that's drafting Demands. This is the big media sticking point ("But What Do They Want? There's No Unified Message!").

The group is going to use the next few days to talk about demands. And then here's what they'll do: on Friday, they will spread blank sheets of white paper all across the park. Some will have topic headings, some will be all blank. Magic markers will then be distributed, and everyone will write, in large letters, the issues and goals they think are most important. If you agree with someone's poster, you can put a "Check".

Fascinating! It is actually rather Chinese in technique. It reminds me of the student Big Character Posters that appeared in Tienanmen Square.

After the writing exercise, they'll collect all the papers and collate them into a larger online manifesto, which can then be debated/modified/changed online in a Wikipedia-style collaboration.

4. Location, location location: It's becoming clearer that the choice of New York City, as opposed to say, Washington DC, for the launch of this effort, was genius. For what it says is, of course, that this movement is not about the US government. The real enemy is the Financial-Bankster complex. I have not heard or seen any mention of any political candidate or party inside the Park. Forget "post-partisan"--that was so 2008. This is a post-party movement. It is what we Correntians have been waiting for--but not in the form we expected!

5. Obama is dead, dead, dead. Really. These young people were his eager troops. And they've moved on. Way on. The talk on the ground is not about elections anymore. It's about transforming society.

That's it for now. I urge all of you who can to come to Wall Street if you possibly can make it. This is one of those moments when time seems to hover and pause, and focus is laser-sharp. It's a rare moment of collective creativity. Who could have guessed it would bloom now?

And so what else is there that I can say about these phrases that has not already been said in discount coupons blogger time. A Gun Bill

And so this is yet another one of those Orwellian like news speak of a blog posts that found itself posted on this blog sometime a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible.

There was a headline in the news yesterday on the Yahoo homepage that read "Gun bill inspired by "A place where gun violence occurred", and the article went on to say something about the mentally ill will be targeted and asked for documentation when they go to buy guns. Hugh? Is not the problem with guns that guns are sold everywhere to anyone at all, and not the people. And there was a sales excerpt in this past weeks Sunday newspaper for a sports store. This advertisement was for the hunting section of their store and it pictured a man dressed in camouflage with a gun tossed over his shoulder and there were photos of guns and rifles with brand names and fancy descriptions for sale all over the page. Are people animals who are people to be hunted? Is hunting for animals and people now considered a sport to be sold in the malls of America and on sales brochures next to roller skates and advertised in the papers for all to see. Is this not the same? Is not the problem that the images of guns are found in television, film, commercials, posters, newspapers, cartoons, video games and marketing and advertisements everywhere these days. Does not advertising influence society. I could cut and paste my blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish guns from every human being on planet earth. Guns are the worst invention of a death industry ever. Everyday someone loses their lives to random acts of gun violence for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. It is a story that has been told yesterday and will be told tomorrow with no end in sight. It is an industry that feeds upon itself, advertisement breeds crime which breeds news, which breeds crime, which breeds more advertisement which breeds more crime. What would happen if there were no crime tomorrow. Would a lot of people be out of a job? Will the cycle of the beast that has it's grip on humanity ever end. Should not guns be abolished from humanity as a whole, from everyone on the face of planet earth. And then there is that constitutional 4th amendment, the right to bear arms that should be abolished or rewritten to abolish guns and replace them with sticks and stones or something. The idea that property, material goods are worth more than life. And the whole world is paying with the loss of human life which seems to be a disposal commodity in the war industry of people against humanity. And my friend gave me a flyer as we were discussing the latest atrocity of the day in relation to gun violence. It is a flyer she received back in April at Union Square Park of New York City. And it is a flyer about gun violence and psychiatry. The Pharmaceutical industry is bigger than the war industry. Psychiatry Kills. Abolished forced psychiatric treatment. And what's that "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" film by Ken Kesey all about anyway. That's a whole another blog posting. For all things human rights and psych cia trickery and alternatives to the mental death system, Mindfreedom is a great website to visit. I am one voice, one blogger. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State?

What caused the tragedy in "this state"?

It was reported in the Times and the Post Wednesday:

The killer had been taking anti-depressants.

All too often in the present age, we hear the tragic news of a senseless massacre somewhere in the country. Experience has shown, that the killer has almost always, if not absolutely always, been someone who had been prescribed anti-depressants.

The killers with names were kids who had been prescribed the anti-depressant ritalin.
The man who shot someone at this place had been prescribed an anti-depressant whose classic symptom is extreme rage directed at one specific person. The killers in the recent massacres in three different states, also one in another state, had been taking various prescription anti depressants.

Pharmaceutical drugs are prescribed, not as a last resort but as a first thought, not hesitantly but hastily and with excess. They are not properly used, but abused, with no thought of the side effects of taking chemicals which nature did not produce and evolution did not plan for us to be subjected to, like bug spray or insecticide. And this is not a small and isolated phenomenon, but rather a deliberate and systematic poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, on an epidemic scale.

The concentration of power, Mr. Moneybags, the State, which controls the American military-industrial complex and the pharmaceutical chemical companies that are an integral part of that system, the State, which, as Eisenhower warned, would one day gain undue influence and endanger our Liberties, has an interest in promoting this epidemic scourge of prescription drug use. Hundreds of billions of dollars a year, are made by the corporations that sell these drugs. It is big business. In addition, the State which experience has shown, for thousands of years all over the globe, tends to want to empower itself and dis-empower the People, gets exactly that benefit from this epidemic of drug use. Power and authority, competency and incompetency breeds corruption. It dis-empowers individuals by making them unhealthy. And it dis-empowers the community and the nation, by making people distrustful of each other; by making people think that their neighbor is a crazy person who they must be protected from; by persuading the People to accept, even to demand, increased police power of the State to protect them. Under such conditions even the will to independence vanishes.

The innovations of scientists and engineers are stolen and subverted by the concentrations of power; a virtue has become a vice, and chemical technology, which can and of right ought to be a liberating force in society, becomes enslaving.

Doctors are encouraged, by the drug industry, to prescribe artificial drugs to their patients. It is a regular practice, for the drug companies to pay a doctor a fee every time that doctor prescribes one of their drugs. It is no secret. In this way, the basic essential character of the American medical profession becomes one of conflict of interest.

The companies that make these drugs exert a great deal of pressure upon the mass media. There are huge advertising contracts, and there is an overlap of ownership between the drug companies and the media companies. The fact that a mass murderer was taking prescription drugs, is one of those things that will show up once in the newspapers, but is immediately and finally buried, and mum becomes the word.

There have been a thousand analyses of the killer in papers, of his history, his personality, his psychological problems; there have been a thousand demands for increased police powers; there have been a thousand calls for the outlawing of guns, and a general de-clawing of the People. But has anyone asked, how is it that society produces so many sick people?

Prescription anti-depressants are known to be a common cause of suicide; they are known to be a constant presence in senseless massacres. Surely the number of individual murders caused by these drugs must be many times greater than the number of massacres. And if there are so many suicides and murders, how many people taking pharmaceuticals must be gravely suffering, but have not quite yet arrived at the point of suicide or murder?

This epidemic of drug use, this deliberate poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, this deliberate, and thus far largely successful, did-empowerment of the American people, must stop. It is our purpose to reveal this truth to the American people, so that we may once again live in a sane and healthy society and the tragic deaths of so many good people in this State shall not have been in vain.

Occupy Wall Street

Hey Bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. Wall Street is closed, I think... as protesters march to Occupy Wall Street. And I know Wall Street is occupied because this facebook event and that CNN Money, Wall Street closed as protesters YouTube video that finds itself embedded disabled by request and not posted above, or is it posted above, says so. And the description of that Facebook event reads something like "All day occupation (possibly longer) of Wall Street to oppose in numbers the corruption, financial treachery, oligarchy, and forced debts imposed on us by an irresponsible and unapproachable Wall Street (world financial center) sister protests may also take place in similar California Financial Centers if enough interest is shown. This is a peaceful protest and violence will not be tolerated." And also another Occupy Wall Street Facebook event that reads something like "The Occupation Has Begun. Join us at Zuccotti Park (Liberty St & Trinity Place) in NYC beginning on September 17, we want to see 20,000 people flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices". And the description of that YouTube video reads something like "Three years after Lehman's collapse, hundreds of protesters gathered to 'Occupy Wall Street', forcing the NYPD to close some streets." And that video seems to Occupy Wall Street speak for itself. And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State? Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.
