The End Of The Year

It must be that end of the year time again according to the Gregorian calendar. And I also figure it must be near New Years Day 2008, as every time I turn on the television, listen to the radio or look at a newspaper, I see and hear all of those year end, year in review, best of 2007 articles and programing, and that Auld Lang Syne song gets played a thousand times. And I also see people selling those Happy New Year 2008 glasses, horns and confetti on street corners and sidewalks everywhere. And this time of year must also be the most partying day and night time of the year, and the most expensive time of the year to party in New York City also, as those clubland parties admission fees are usually in the hundreds and zillions of dollars range to party or something like that. Well I guess if one is in the New York City area, one could always go to see the ball drop in Time Square, that's free as far as I know. Me myself, I don't know what I will do for the New Years Eve celebrations this year, if anything. And I also thought it was the beginning of the end of the world this year in 2007 with all of those prophecy, armageddon, apocalyptic religious fanaticism thoughts about Nostradamus, World War III, the beast and the Anti Christ I posted this year about 2007 being the beginning of the end of the world. So unless some big momentous end of the world events happens in the next two days, happy 2008.

The Great American Death Ceremony

Now this passage is kind of funny, sort of. Or maybe it's not because it is about health and it is real. Well at least it makes a great statement about health and alternative medicine. This is one of those sayings that I saw on a friends refrigerator held on with a magnet the other day and I thought to repost it because hey, it's less writing sometimes:

The Great American Death Ceremony

The death ceremony began as a crude ritual back in the days of witchcraft. In recent years, it has developed into a science. It usually takes 10 to 15 years however, modern scientific advancements are shortening this period of time.

It starts with one simple headache. When the one aspirin will no longer cover up the headache, take two. After a few months, when two aspirin will no longer cover up the headache, you take one of the stronger compounds. By this time it becomes necessary to take something for the ulcers which have been caused by the aspirin. Now that you are taking two medicines, you have a good start. After a few months these medications will disrupt your liver function. If a good infection develops you can take come penicillin. Of course the penicillin will damage your red blood corpuscles and spleen so that you develop anemia. By this time all of these medication will put such a strain on your kidneys they should break down. It is now time to take some antibiotics. When these destroy your natural resistance to disease, you can expect a general flair up in all your systems. The next step is to cover up all of these symptoms with sulfa drugs. When the kidney finally plug up you can have them drained. Some poisons will build up in your system but you an keep going quite a while this way.

By now the medications will be so confused they won't know what they are supposed to be doing, but it doesn't really matter. If you have followed every step as directed you can now make an appointment with your undertaker.

This game is played by practically all Americans except for a few ignorant souls who follow nature.

Seasons Greetings

Now this is a first in a while in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches, even on that holy day of the year, Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Festivus, or whatever ones religion or choice of this day may be. And I can't wait any longer to post on this blog. It's been about four days since my last posting, as I try to post a blog entry on this blog whenever possible. And usually I post those pay you to post and blog posts on this blog every so often, so I was hoping this blog entry could be one of those. And it is not, as the get rich Internet quick blog world for this blog seems to be somewhere else at the moment. So this could be a first in that usual routine of posting since Google sent me to looking for a fifth day job after that recent page ranking update I guess about a while ago now. And despite this new found get rich Internet quickless missing scene, I find my self blogging along.

This day is the day of Christ. Christmas. More of Christ. Jesus is the reason for the season. And it is also a full moon and a few days after that winter sun solstice where the days get longer or shorter or someting. And here I find myself blah blogging away. And I received another one of those emails a few days ago from a friend who sent it to their list of friends. And the email is about Jesus Christ, or is it about shopping and the economy? I gather this time of the year would be an appropriate time to repost it, as it is Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ according to the Gregorian calendar, or some calendar. And if you happen to be in the New York City area, Trash Worship Recycle And Pray will be having a save the Christmas trees that get thrown out of their homes the day after Christmas, or even the day of Christmas funeral procession and ceremony or something. Happy Holy Days.

Christ And The Holiday Christmas

If your purpose or intent is to honor the person or teachings of Jesus
Christ, here are a few examples of how you can really celebrate Christmas.

1- Forgive someone you have a longstanding grudge or problem with.

2- Become a friend to someone who has few friends.

3- Visit a shut-in or shut-out. Someone alone, in the hospital, in
prison, a street person, on the margins.

4- Meet an unmet need of someone privately or anonymously.

5- Feed someone who is hungry.

6- Clothe someone who is needy.

7- Extend grace to someone who has wronged you.

8- Be a peacemaker between people in strife.

9- Love someone who is hard to love.

10- Try to not be judgmental.

[comments follow from various people...]

Grace, Mercy and Peace. Seek these 3 earnestly and the rest will follow.
The best part is that it cannot be bought at any price.

The worst thing about Christmas is that the very same people who favor
warmongering, slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent people,
torture and our status as the world's largest arms producer and purveyor
of violence will go to church and sing about how they love the Prince of
Peace, the swarthy little Middle Eastern baby Jesus...

I agree that Xmas is too commercial & starts way too early (my main
gripe about it), but I'm mystified by all the articles on AlterNet that
advocate not buying anything, ever. I work in retail. Are you folks
trying to drive me out of a job?

It seems exactly as if you want to shut down the retail sector entirely
in the season where it makes 40% of sales, drive millions of people out
of work, and cause another Great Depression.

Burn me at the stake for uttering heresy, but the real issue in
Christmas is in fact, retail.

A retail industry person above pointed out that if everybody quit buying
stuff, the retail industry would suffer and by extension, the rest of
the economy.

This is true, but that is also the crux of a dilemma. The consumer
economy as we know it was really ramped up after WWII as a means of
keeping the level of economic activity from the war years going, but
transitioning to a manufacturing and retail mode. Advertising really
kicked into high gear because there was a need to turn thrifty, penny
pinching Americans into big spenders.

Now, as we look at the big picture, we see that all this focus on
consumer economics has created a dependency that in the long run is
unsustainable. America, a very small percentage of the world population
consumes an very outsize portion of all the resources in the world. We
are entering an era, for instance, in which gasoline prices will
continue to rise because the overall resource supply versus demand will
be less and less in the consumer's favor.

I recently went through a long and exhausting process of working through
a house full of Christmas gifts from as far back as the 1930s and trying
to figure out how to sell of give it away. That is the ultimate end of
the rush to buy stuff for Christmas.

You have to ask, if you have any interest in where all this is going,
what happens if an economy based on making, transporting, selling,
storing, and reselling stuff can no longer be relied on? Then what?

I think that, to point out that our economic bag of tricks only has one
trick - to sell stuff - is correct and that people buying less stuff
will impair the retail goose laying our golden eggs. However, I think it
is short sighted to stop there. We need to develop more tricks in our
economic bag of tricks and to find other ways of generating jobs and
wealth aside from choking the world with more and more stuff, and
depleting resources to do it. Really, we have to if we are going to
survive in the long term.

These are all good comments, especially the one about the false idea
that giving is mostly a Christian concept. What was the author thinking
on that one? Giving is part of all religions and nonbelievers as well.
Material consumption has nothing to do with God. People give to make
people happy or out of guilt of reciprocity or even to get sex. We have
been lied to by corporations in this country and bought it hook, line
and sinker. We have lost everything that makes us human except our very
bodies. The average Americans has less than three close friends. That
tells a whole story on its own.

We are headed into a depression of historic proportions that will make
the Great Depression look like a bad day at the beach. It wasn't caused
by people not purchasing. It was caused by the illegal private company
The Federal Reserve printing money out of thin air and causing inflation
with nothing to back our currency since the gold standard ended.

People keep asking if it's possible to break this cycle. Yes it's
possible but it is not likely. Americans are besieged with consumerism
and corporations will not do the moral thing. They are cold-blooded
profit-making machines. That is abhorrent to the natural state of man
except for the few authoritarians that run the world. People in this country don't
read anymore and when they do it's usually lies and propaganda. They
never consider the biases of their sources. All news is controlled by
five media companies and soon to be even less.

Wartella Rocks

I can remember Stan Mack's Real Life Funnies in the Village Voice from days ago. And now those recent Wartella cartoons in the Village Voice each week are funny as heck. They are hilarious and ingenious in their depiction of life, current events and topics of the day and times. Lately, every time I grab one of those papers from the red box on the corner, the colorful drawings appear with those balloon captions with people saying the funniest things from different walks of life. And the drawings usually have a political statement to them with whatever the topic and situation is at hand. I tried to save that police surveillance state one Wartella did a few months ago, but it is lost somewhere now. And I keep wanting to make a collection of them because they are so funny, but that never happens. And this weeks cartoon is titled "Welcome To Laguardia" with a phrase "Check your privacy at the door" spray painted on the wall. And there are security guards with scowls on their faces scanning people with pajamas on and pockets turned out with their hands up in the air. And then there is the TSA officer who is watching Sanford and Son reruns. And there are always usually the typical stereotype of people in those drawings, the rich, the poor, the homeless, and different nationalities of people. And every ones flight has been cancelled in this drawing. And then there is the sigh "Attention, making jokes or statements during the screening process may be grounds for criminal or civil penalties. And although Wartella's cartoons seem to be a parody of life, they are real. These weekly cartoons are awesome. Wartella Rocks.

A Gun Bill

There was a headline in the news yesterday on the Yahoo homepage that read "Gun bill inspired by "A place where gun violence occurred", and the article went on to say something about the mentally ill will be targeted and asked for documentation when they go to buy guns. Hugh? Is not the problem with guns that guns are sold everywhere to anyone at all, and not the people. And there was a sales excerpt in this past weeks Sunday newspaper for a sports store. This advertisement was for the hunting section of their store and it pictured a man dressed in camouflage with a gun tossed over his shoulder and there were photos of guns and rifles with brand names and fancy descriptions for sale all over the page. Are people animals who are people to be hunted? Is hunting for animals and people now considered a sport to be sold in the malls of America and on sales brochures next to roller skates and advertised in the papers for all to see. Is this not the same? Is not the problem that the images of guns are found in television, film, commercials, posters, newspapers, cartoons, video games and marketing and advertisements everywhere these days. Does not advertising influence society. I could cut and paste my blog entries over and over in my appeal to abolish guns. Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. Everyday someone loses their lives to random acts of gun violence for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. It is a story that has been told yesterday and will be told tomorrow with no end in sight. It is an industry that feeds on itself, advertisement breeds crime which breeds news, which breeds crime, which breeds more advertisement which breeds more crime. Will the cycle of the beast that has it's grip on humanity ever end. Should not guns be abolished from humanity as a whole, from everyone on the face of planet earth. And then there is that constitutional 4th amendment, the right to bear arms that should be abolished or rewritten to abolish guns and replace them with sticks and stones or something. The idea that property, material goods are worth more than life. And the whole world is paying with the loss of human life which seems to be a disposal commodity in the war industry of people against humanity. And my friend gave me a flyer as we were discussing the latest atrocity of the day in relation to gun violence. It is a flyer she received back in April at Union Square Park of New York City. And it is a flyer about gun violence and psychiatry. The Pharmaceutical industry is bigger than the war industry. Psychiatry Kills. Abolished forced psychiatric treatment. And what's that "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" film by Ken Kesey all about anyway. That's a whole another blog posting. For all things human rights and psych cia trickery and alternatives to the mental death system, Mindfreedom is a great website to visit. I am one voice, one blogger. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
And the flyer went on to read:

What caused the tragedy in "this state"?

It was reported in the Times and the Post Wednesday:

The killer had been taking anti-depressants.

All too often in the present age, we hear the tragic news of a senseless massacre somewhere in the country. Experience has shown, that the killer has almost always, if not absolutely always, been someone who had been prescribed anti-depressants.

The killers with names were kids who had been prescribed the anti-depressant ritalin.
The man who shot someone at this place had been prescribed an anti-depressant whose classic symptom is extreme rage directed at one specific person. The killers in the recent massacres in three different states, also one in another state, had been taking various prescription anti depressants.

Pharmaceutical drugs are prescribed, not as a last resort but as a first thought, not hesitantly but hastily and with excess. They are not properly used, but abused, with no thought of the side effects of taking chemicals which nature did not produce and evolution did not plan for us to be subjected to, like bug spray or insecticide. And this is not a small and isolated phenomenon, but rather a deliberate and systematic poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, on an epidemic scale.

The concentration of power, Mr. Moneybags, the State, which controls the American military-industrial complex and the pharmaceutical chemical companies that are an integral part of that system, the State, which, as Eisenhower warned, would one day gain undue influence and endanger our Liberties, has an interest in promoting this epidemic scourge of prescription drug use. Hundreds of billions of dollars a year, are made by the corporations that sell these drugs. It is big business. In addition, the State which experience has shown, for thousands of years all over the globe, tends to want to empower itself and dis-empower the People, gets exactly that benefit from this epidemic of drug use. Power and authority, competency and incompetency breeds corruption. It dis-empowers individuals by making them unhealthy. And it dis-empowers the community and the nation, by making people distrustful of each other; by making people think that their neighbor is a crazy person who they must be protected from; by persuading the People to accept, even to demand, increased police power of the State to protect them. Under such conditions even the will to independence vanishes.

The innovations of scientists and engineers are stolen and subverted by the concentrations of power; a virtue has become a vice, and chemical technology, which can and of right ought to be a liberating force in society, becomes enslaving.

Doctors are encouraged, by the drug industry, to prescribe artificial drugs to their patients. It is a regular practice, for the drug companies to pay a doctor a fee every time that doctor prescribes one of their drugs. It is no secret. In this way, the basic essential character of the American medical profession becomes one of conflict of interest.

The companies that make these drugs exert a great deal of pressure upon the mass media. There are huge advertising contracts, and there is an overlap of ownership between the drug companies and the media companies. The fact that a mass murderer was taking prescription drugs, is one of those things that will show up once in the newspapers, but is immediately and finally buried, and mum becomes the word.

There have been a thousand analyses of the killer in papers, of his history, his personality, his psychological problems; there have been a thousand demands for increased police powers; there have been a thousand calls for the outlawing of guns, and a general de-clawing of the People. But has anyone asked, how is it that society produces so many sick people?

Prescription anti-depressants are known to be a common cause of suicide; they are known to be a constant presence in senseless massacres. Surely the number of individual murders caused by these drugs must be many times greater than the number of massacres. And if there are so many suicides and murders, how many people taking pharmaceuticals must be gravely suffering, but have not quite yet arrived at the point of suicide or murder?

This epidemic of drug use, this deliberate poisoning of the bodies and minds of the American people, this deliberate, and thus far largely successful, did-empowerment of the American people, must stop. It is our purpose to reveal this truth to the American people, so that we may once again live in a sane and healthy society and the tragic deaths of so many good people in this State shall not have been in vain.

Flavor This Food

Food flavorings? Did someone say food and flavour? It seems as if most people could like good food and the flavor of food, for that is what makes good food good, some sort of flavor, whether it be sweet, salty, spiced up or anything and everything else in between. Isn't flavor what gives food its taste? And what would food be like with out flavor. Would food have any taste, or would it be just plain, bland food. And how could one think of a name for a fancy dish or entree if it didn't have that appealling descriptive adjective like sweet or salty to go before the name of the dish. Well I guess it's possible to eat plain food also but usually food with flavor rocks. And food with natural flavor rocks even more. About those foods that are manufactured up in a laboratory with chemicals names and ingredients that are too difficult or long to pronounce and a list of ingredients too innumerable to read for one ingredient, I am not sure. For someone who may need help in flavoring their food, Food Flavoring specializes in food flavourings. Food Flavorings helps food and drink product developers flavor up those food and drinks. There are also a lot of great Christmas recipes on their website and you can request flavour samples of different flavor types such as strawberry, lemon etc; and flavor status such as natural and other flavors in liquid or powder form. Happy good food.

A Monument

What happens when a monument is destroyed and something else is put in its place? What happens when a landmark building is destroyed and another building is put in its place? What happens when whole communities are torn down and another community is put in its place. What happens with the destruction of old, historical buildings to create new and more modern buildings. Does this type of thing happen everywhere around the world these days. Is New York real estate a reflection of the world of real estate? I was watching that film "New York: A Documentary" the other day, and part of the film described how Robert Moses destroyed and built New York. The film discussed urban renewal, urban removal, urban development, urban sprawl and the displacement of people from their homes for the development of highways and cars, as cars were seen as more important or economical than people or something. And then there was the destruction of old New York for a more newer, modern New York City in this film also. And people, their community and their thoughts did not matter. Only the developers, construction engineers and money seemed to matter. Was, is this a profit before people thing or something. And there are a few emails that are in my inbox this week with the subject "Save Washington Square Park" and "Rally to save Washington Square Park". And what happens when a historical monument, landmark structure is destroyed and replaced with another structure. Is this a reflection and representation of the city and real estate market as a whole. The destruction and construction of property for money or urban renewal or something. And who profits from this. As I saw in that film the other day, New York is ever changing. Whether that change is good or bad I am not sure. I am only sure that the only thing constant is change. And then there is CBGB"s and a host of other places that have disappeared to gentrification, genocide, or just plain change of times or other things in the end of an era. Babylon, Bael babble on. And what does this have to do with a No Police State.

The Poetry Project

Again it's that time of year again according to the Gregorian calendar. The holiday seasons are upon us. The day of Christ is near and the party season of New Years is here. And a lot of parties there are indeed, as isn't New Years Eve the biggest party day of the year. And then there is the day after New Years Eve in New York City. New Years Day. And one of the events that come to mind that day is the Annual News Year's Day Marathon Reading over at St. Marks Church on the Bowery. It's a poetry reading with seemingly over a million people reading poetry, poetry, and more poetry all day and nite and more. There is so much poetry read there that day that one could go home, cook a meal, go to sleep, wake up again, go back and they will still be there reading poetry. At least over that 24 hour period. So if you are in the New York City area and are looking for some great poetry to hear, this events looks like it may be worth checking out. Have a great poetry day.

Name That Price

Name Your Loan. Now that sounds interesting. Could I name a loan of a hundred bazillion kazillion dollars, or is that realistic? Well it's loans and credit time again. How NameYourLoan.com Works is interesting and quite different than the usual money borrowing process. You can find out more about how they work by reading the press release below. And remember to pay the creditors back before you find yourself hiding out from the telephone, if the telephone has not been repossessed by that point.

NameYourLoan.com Diversifies Current Lending Environment for Borrowers with New Approach to Online Mortgage Loans.

New online mortgage auction site, NameYourLoan.com, has revolutionized the way borrowers obtain mortgage loans online. As a unique and creative online community, borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders while lenders benefit from a wealth of real time mortgage leads and opportunities for business growth.
(PRWEB) – In today’s tough lending environment, littered with deceitful lenders and cunning tactics, it’s high time for a revolutionary tool that can empower borrowers yet still benefit lenders. NameYourLoan.com has answered the need with the launch of a new online mortgage auction site designed to give consumers access to an increasing mortgage lenders network to ultimately obtain great online mortgage loans.
“For centuries, auctions have been the most efficient and effective way to get the best deals in everything,” says Al Salahi, President and CEO of NameYourLoan.com. “Why not have auctions for all mortgage loan types?”
NameYourLoan.com is an online community where borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders. Lenders compete with one another in an online auction to win the borrower’s business. As numerous lenders submit loan offers, the site enables consumers to see “apples to apples”, compare mortgage interest rates and achieve the lowest rate mortgage online such as the best home equity loan rate or home refinance loan.
The site’s sophisticated computer system compiles and calculates all the information submitted by lenders (interest rates, points, fees, terms, etc.) and then ranks loan offers, based on their true worth relative to the borrower’s stated preferences (lowest rate, lowest fees or best combination of rates and fees). This simplified process gives borrowers a coherent presentation of information without having to do the math themselves.
Unlike other online mortgage comparison shopping services, only those lenders who come out at the top of the auction with the lowest interest rates and fees get a chance at the borrower’s business. Moreover, borrowers can invite their friend or relative lender to participate in the borrower’s auction quickly and without cost. Lenders who refuse to participate are most likely high priced and not the best mortgage lenders.
“Through advanced technology, we are starting to make haggling and deceptive lending tactics a thing of the past,” explains Salahi. “At the same time, we are transforming a generally stressful and complicated process into a very pleasant and easy experience for borrowers. Our multiple bid auction format, coupled with constant consumer feedback, will make it easy for us to weed out dishonest lenders—and hopefully put them out of business!”
Use of NameYourLoan.com is completely free for borrowers. Borrowers are under no obligation to accept any of the online mortgage loans offered in the auction. To protect against identity theft and fraud, site users are never asked for sensitive information, and lenders that receive multiple consumer complaints will be barred from future auctions.
For more information, visit NameYourLoan.com.
About NameYourLoan.com:
NameYourLoan.com is the world’s first online mortgage auction, designed to advance the lending process by helping honest and competitive lenders grow their business, and at the same time, make it possible for borrowers to instantaneously reach multiple lenders and receive competitive loan offers online, in an auction format. NameYourLoan.com uses a patent-pending concept powered by sophisticated proprietary software that has been developed by a number of technology heavyweights from the Fortune 500 arena.

The Lives They Left Behind

I do not know what this is all about, but sometimes I find myself reading the newspapers just to find something to blah blog about. And this time a listing in the Village Voice seemed interesting. It's an exhibit about leftover baggage and the lives of psychiatric inmates that were left behind in a suitcase called "The Lives They Left Behind:Suitcases From a State Hospital Attic." I guess the title may be self explanatory. In the attic of one of the abandoned buildings of a State Psychiatric Hospital building, workers discovered a stack of suitcases that belonged to former patients. Their personal belongings, along with their medical records, has inspired a fascinating exhibition at the New York Public Library. And as being anti psychiatric state and anti psych cia trick association, this is an exhibit that I would be interesting in seeing. And just the idea that ones life can be condensed to a suitcase is a lot to comprehend to me. The pharmaceutical industry seems to be bigger than the war industry these days. Psychiatry Kills. Abolish forced psychiatric treatment. For all things human rights and alternatives to psychiatry and the mental death system, Support Coalition International is a great website to visit. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible. And what does this have to do with a No Police State.

Ohm....

Jesus is the reason for the season and the New Year is near. And it seems as if this weekend is that weekend for all of those holiday parties and festivities that take place around this time each year, as it seems as if everyone is having their annual holiday party, office party and every other party this weekend. And as I was ohming, blissing, and nirvinaing my way towards that yoga, music and art event that I blah blogged about the other day, I thought to myself, oh my God. For what reason does the words oh my God contain the first three letters of the word Ohm. Or is it for what reason are the first three letters of the word oh my God ohm. Does that mean anything? And I guess that is another one of those rearrangement of words that I come across every so often that could be relevant or mean nothing at all. And what does the word Ohm mean anyway. That could be a question for the yoga guru I guess. Ohm Shanti. Peace and love, and goodwill to all mankind.

YouTube

YouTube. I am a fan of broadcasting yourself on YouTube. I sometimes find myself YouTubeing all day in that YouTube world of bazillions and gazillions of videos. And there is a video posted on YouTube that is an elf prank call to American Greetings with an elf talking about elves, candy canes, Rudolph and Santa's Workshop. And the video is a joke about a funny Christmas ecard that has some great festive music going on before you play it. And I always find those ecards entertaining and fun to watch, as I send those ecards to friends every so often for whatever the occasion may be, even if it is just to watch them for fun myself. Season Greetings, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

The Word

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God", John 1:1, if you believe. For some reason, I was thinking about the word radio today. I guess because I listen to the radio when there is nothing else to do, or I just listen to the radio for entertainment. And it leads me to thinking about the the letters that are in the word radio rearranged. And for some reason I always find it interesting to rearrange the letters of words for either word games or to find out their origins and meanings. And the word radio has the word diary, and dio, God in Latin. Is that a diary of Gd? And there are the letters rio, not sure what tht is all about. And the letters air, in that "on the air"? And a whole another word, Life, efil, evil. Live, evil. Is to live life evil? What's that all about? And then there is the word television, which has the word evil and live, and vision in it. Is the television a vision of evil. life, live. And that brings me to the word, word; palabra in Spanish, a parable; story. How interesting. Now this is getting confusion to me. Whatever this letter and word stuff could be all about, have a great day.

The Streets

Critical Mass, Transportation Alternatives and Times Up are a few of the groups that I can think of that address pedestrian and bicycle safety due to the automobile. And it seems like a problem that needs to be addressed more than ever in the crowded streets of the New York City area. In today's times, there seems as if there are more cars and congestion on the street, as every street is a highway in this town and it seems to be an open field for pedestrian deaths as if one is disposable roadkill, being that motorists are most likely never even penalized when deaths occur in these types of situations. And I realize that one is taking their life in their own hands when they board a bicycle in this town, or even to leave home in any type of transportation vehicle, but more and more these days, the bicycle. And when I see the light turn green and say "walk", I run, as there is no speed limit and there is an open and free for all for the automobile. And then there is the car door, an issue that was addressed on the front of yesterdays Metro. And it is the death lottery system again, to hope that that a car door does not open in your path as one is riding their back down the street, as there is hardly any space for a bicycle path on either side on the streets of New York to begin with. And I am glad to read that this issue is being address by the media and advocates to make New York a more bicycle friendly town. I hear that in other countries such as Vietnam, or Japan, or China, that bicycles and moped abound on the streets, and that cars are fewer. I would hope that their pedestrian death rates are fewer or nonexistent as a result of these practices. I think I can remember years ago when the streets were not so crowded with automobiles and I can only hope that some sort of law will be changed where one does not have to fear for ones life on the streets of New York City because of the automobile. Have a great day.

Surfs Up

Surfs Up! What does that phrase mean. I hear someone saying that word every so often. I think it is a surfer term for when the water is surfable and one can't wait to go to the beach to surf and swim the day away. I imagine one usually says that phrase a lot in warmer climates. Maybe that term has something do with high or low tide or something. And what about all of those other water sports, swimming, wakeboarding. Wakeboarding? What is wakeboarding. Is that surfing the wakes of the waves, and how does one do that? If you are one of those people who live in the water or who enjoy water sports or skateboarding and the like, SurfExpo.com is an extensive website with tons of information for all things surfing and more. Just about anything surfing and related to surfing that one can think of can be found on their website. Even fashion wear, fashion events, slide shows and videos can be found on their site. The Surf Expo website features a photo gallery, job board, classified ads and much, much more. And there is also an upcoming show January 10-13, 2008 in Orlando, Florida with over 2,400 booths, seminars, fashion shows, demos and silent auction. Surf Expo is a great news and community web site about surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, fashion, apparel, and beach culture markets and is brought to you from Surf Expo, the longest running surf trade show in the world.

The Postal Service

What's up with that United States Postal Service Post Office? Or is it the Luftpost Postal Service, or is it the Deutsch Post Post Office, or is it just the postal service. I have heard of so many stories of packages arriving ripped and torn and inspected and interrogated and unbubblewrappedagated and customsagated and questioned and microscoped and repackaged again before they even arrive to their final destination. Are those cookies now an object to be feared? Is this a worldwide open your mail before it gets to you thing? What's up with that. Well I guess it great that the packages arrive to their destination with that sticker that says "Hey, I've been opened" than not at all. And what does this have to do with a No Police State? Happy Holy Dayze.

More Gold

And here I go again writing about money, money and more money, and loans, credit and more credit because seemingly that's mostly all there is to blog about these days, even in the midst of delinquent loans and foreclosures being at their highest rate ever. And so again, in case you happen to be one of those people with poor credit or your financial situation has you looking for loans, Best Leading Lender can help you find Bad Credit Loans, Personal Loans, a Pay Day Loan, and any other type of loan you may be looking for during this Christmas holiday time or any other time of the year. And try to remember to pay the loan back before you find yourself hiding out from the telephone, if the telephone has not been repossessed by that point.

A Ride Back In Time

Wow! Now that's cool. Awesome. As I was going my way today, I thought I was seeing things as I was standing on the F and V subway train lines today. Some V train that looked like it was from Back To The Future pulled into the station. But it wasn't from Back To the Future. It was some vintage train from the 1930's that the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority is running every Sunday this month on the V line. Is this train here for the holidays? It almost seemed surreal boarding the subway train as I had to ask the subway conductor if this train was going my way, and sure enough it was. And the conductors were handing out New York Transit Museum Calendars, and people were walking all over and through the train cars taking photographs everywhere. It was a tourist attraction ride back in time and a subway history lesson indeed to find about the history of the six train cars; that every train car was from a different year or decade. And the train conductor and signs posted throughout all other cars said something about "The r1 series car in 1930" that ran up until the 1970's and that the MTA in now on the r142 series or something like that. Everyone on the trained almost seemed out of place with the vintage backdrop and the party like atmosphere on the travelling museum. I almost wanted to stay on the train and ride it back and forth all day, but instead I kept going my way. What a great ride back in time.

The Passport

For what reason is the number of that passport immigration law that prohibits freedom of travel amongst humanity anywhere on planet earth, and that Section 666 Social Security Act, cashless society, national I.D., the number of your name to receive any state services and everything else in between thing, 666? Is this that save no man that he may buy or sell except that he have the mark of the beast thing in the book of Revelations. Is this written in prophecy somewhere. Did George Orwell or Nostradamus predict this? Is that a coincidence or on purpose that this law has the same number of that beast thing. And who or what is the beast, and what is that mark on ones right hand or forehead. What does that mark represent or mean, if anything. And what's up with that UPC bar code photo that I placed in this blog entry. And for what reason do all universal product codes contain this number. What the heck does that mean? Is that the number of the beast, the number of man? And what's that New World Order, Verichip and RFID tag thing all about. Big Brother, Brave New World and technology are here and that's a whole another blog posting. And I have heard so many green card immigration nightmare stories about green card marriages, lotteries and green card everything else in between. Of people leaving a country and not being able to return for whatever reason. And the stories of loss of life while crossing a border, whether by land or sea. And for what reason are there boarders, divisions, restrictions, barriers and territories of land in this world. And for what reason are people not free to travel anywhere in the world without the permission of someone else. Who invented this concept. Is it possible to undo this passport, visa, citizenship, where are your papers to come here law so that everyone can be free to travel anywhere in this world. For what reason does this concept exist. And who is a foreigner. Aren't we all strangers in this land. Is another world possible. No one is free when others are oppressed. It is Sunday today, day of God, a day of rest. Or is that Saturday, the Sabbath, Sabado. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Massage?

A human touch massage chair. Now that sounds fun and relaxing. Especially around the holidays when everything massage could be helpful in the sometimes stress inducing shoparama consumerama holiday season. And come to think of it, I think I see more of these massage products appearing during the holiday season, almost as if on cue. And a Human Touch HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair, that sounds like the super duper massage chair of them all. So for some massage everything away massaging, this chair can make a great gift for the holidays. Human Touch is an award winning leader in massage technology and the only brand recommended by the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Their zero gravity massage chair incorporates Human Touch’s unique massage technology, which includes four precise techniques that imitate those used by massage professionals. Urban Artists Collaborative

Bullet Space is having an art opening tomorrow. They are one of the eleven remaining squats that have survived the gentrification and genocide of a neighborhood and have been bought out or sold out in the Lower East Side that is now called the East Village for real estate marketing purposes maybe. And they are now homesteaders or something like that. Bullet Space is a really cool place that has had many theater, art and performance events over the years. And the only thing that seems to be constant is change. And there is a poem that I once remembered:

Long Live The Lower East Side
Long Live The Revolution of the Pseudo Anarchist Hippy Bohemian Squatter Revolutionary Lower East Side In Alphabet City where God Bless America becomes God Fuck America and red white and blue becomes red and black and where the capitalist capitalize off the capitalism of the capital.
With your gentrified glorified tenements and artists coffee lounge lounges riddled with the blood of the long lost past that had the horses running through it, the pigs running round it, and the helicopters hoovering over it. The bandshell that stood as a symbol of freedom for all long torn down, lost and forgotten. NO POLICE STATE, NO HOUSING NO PEACE, F... THE CURFEW, FREE THE LAND, free that park, that park everywhere. Freedom and utopia a thing of the past.
So now in Alphabet City I walk down your streets conformed to the conformity of the conformed and the conformist. Class War Class War on the poor run into the river and running to the river.
Flight of fight, sink or swim. Can you swim or will you die. Your skeletons of the war torn survivors walking the streets, your ghosts and their spirits scattered abroad and the ashes of your people who have come and gone in the struggle, of the struggle, from the struggle and the ashes of your people some dead some alive and some who have survived to shed their blood and skin and to tell the tale and conform to this thing called conformity.
Yeah, first it was them and then it was me. Whose gonna be left when big brother comes. Naked I have come from my mothers womb and naked shall I return thither to the dust where I come from.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Long Live the Lower East Side.

And if you are in this New York City neighborhood tomorrow, this event may be worth checking out.

A Continent

I turned on the computer just now to blog about Mardi Gras and what it's meaning is, but instead I saw a Yahoo page that read, more people have lost their lives to gun violence here today in the country of America. And a friend tells me that the continent of America has the highest crime rate in the world because of the abundance of guns, and that guns are not allowed in Europe or something like that, and that Japan, with the highest population, has the lowest rate of crime, as they may not allow guns there and that in the country of America, one can buy a gun if they have a drivers licence or something. A license, a permit and permission for what reason. And what about that right to bear arms? The whole world is paying. And I am not sure what any of this means. And as I have written in what seems like every other blog posting, who invented guns? Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. And the news stories are endless of persons losing their lives to gun violence on a daily basis as the news stories were yesterday and the news story will be tomorrow with no end in sight, for no reason at all except for the fact that guns have been invented. I could copy my blog entries over and over in my appeal to banish the gun industry and guns from every human being on the face of planet earth and to end the use of the images of guns in all forms of advertising, marketing, film, television and news media as I have written in blog posts of the past. It is a cycle that feeds on itself. Does not advertising influence society. Are the slaughters of wars debasing the value of human life? Will the beast, who or whatever it is, ever release it's grip on mankind? Are the standards of social behavior declining? Is there a worldwide moral breakdown? Is society collapsing? Where is the world headed, is there hope? And one can turn the page of the newspaper to forget about these stories and atrocities of the world, yet they still exist.I am only one blogger, one voice. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

My Other Blog

For some reason, the idea to start another blog came to mind earlier this week. Maybe it could have something to do with the idea that I am attempting to blah blog my way to riches, I am not sure. And so I am attempting to put one of those domain names that I have had for seemingly forever to use. And my other blog seems as if it wants to give me twice as much work now in the how to maintain and manage your own blogs blogosphere. Will anyone even read it? How does one maintain a blog audience? Shouldn't I have figured that out already from this blog? And this other blog seems as if it is turning out to be a replica of this blog. And I have always wondered, how do those other bloggers have tens, hundreds and thousands of other blogs that they maintain, as I can barely handle one. And so begins the start of another blog in the bloggerworld. Have a great blogging day.

Advent

A friend of mine told me that today was Advent. And today is also Sunday from what I recall. I've heard of that day. I know it has something to do with one of those religious holidays, and because it is getting nearer to the Christmas holiday, I assume it has something to do with Christmas. I wonder what that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia has to say about this day. And so they lit a candle today as they explained that this day has something to do with the first of four Sundays leading up to Christmas. Something about one of those Christmas wreathes that hold four candles. And then there is also Advent Hour, the singing of Advent Christmas songs. That sounds fun. And I imagine people from different religions and various cultures may observe the holidays with Kwanzaa, Hanukkah or nothing at all. Whatever your holiday observance, happy holy days.

Scales

Scales? What kind of scales is this website talking about? Is it digital scales, that balance scale, the scale one weighs their self and other objects with. What kind of scale is this? Oh, it's Escali digital scales. And what are those? ScalesEtc. has a new line of fashionable scales. Now that's interesting. These scales seem to be the kind that weigh items in fractions of a gram to hundreds of pounds. Does that mean this scale can weigh flour and spinach in kilos? Is that how I have heard of these kinds of scales? I guess they can make a handy item in the kitchen when one is cooking and measuring something a lot. And they sell bathroom and other kinds of scales also. So if you happen to be looking for one of those digital scales or some other kind of scale for whatever reason, ScalesEtc. is there for you. They are all scales, all the time.
